 :Dhi mga sis's need your help im planning to visit an Obgyne doctor next week here at The Medical City SM fairview, but mga sis's i don't have idea with their  Doctors? Some advice po sino po bang magaling n Obgyne and at the same time mabait dn po?!! And sis's ask ko po sainyo dapat po bang mg punta ako s Infertility specilist Ob-gyne doctor or just an Ob-gyne lang? kasi i have a problem with my menstrual cycle I have an abnormal cycle which is I have an irregular menstruation, and I think this is one of the reason that's why still We don't have a baby....some help guys thanks in advance

Dra. Sualao is my OB also, she was the one who did my laparoscopy two months ago.  She is really good talaga... quite frank and she will really tell you if you should or should not be her patient... She's mabait naman and jolly din... even made kwento re her husband's (well, i don't know as case to case basis siguro... swerte lang siguro kasi pareho sila chinese ng husband ko, matanong kasi hubby ko :-) ...
After my lap, she told me if i have questions re my ivf she can help me naman daw explain... Puntahan ko lang cia as i told her before under kay Dr. Lee kami in taiwan... She knows him and if I remember it right, parang nasabi nia ata sa amin before na si Dr. Lee isa sa mga nag train sa kanya...
But now it changed as we found Dr. Novero na nga... We will undergo ivf 1st quarter in 2012...  Very accomodating si Dr. Nov as he really finds time to explain talaga...

im new to this forum, been reading a lot na over the years of TTC, finally decided to register and share personal experiences. my o is also SUA LAO, magaling cya kaso strict nga lang cya but mabait din naman i woud highly recommend her, im scheduled for lap too on february coz of blocked tubes caused by adhesion sa palpak na lap done to me due to dermoid cyst on my right ovary sometime in 2007 by DRA. ELSIE B. PASCUA sa saint lukes. hindi sya marunong pero when she speaks as if galing galing nya kaya eto may backjob

soree for the long story, wanted to ask re recovery from the lap? i cant be away from work too long kc, how many days did doc sua lao had you stay in the hosp?

Planning to consult with dr novero next month.  Thorough ba say mag explain and accommodating?  Planning to swith ob again, fornthe 4 th time!  My 1st ob kasi is a regular ob Lang but she's really nice  and very accommodating.  My next ob was dr ilao-oreta but sumuko din us ni hubby kasi parang she's not that accommodating.  Nag inject nag sakin before ng gonal f is young assistants lang Nya.  The assistants will text her the tvs results then yup reply say if how many iu I shots sakin.  My 3rd ob naman was pastorfide and Tamar young bang sissies, be ready talaga sa expenses kasi expensive talaga and every visit may pf of 800!  Every other day pa naman visit ko kasi nag for the fertility shots.  Mas expensive din sa kana fertility shots and di pa ko satisfied pag nag u ultrasound us for my fm. 

I heard din kasi mas high success rate ni dr novero that's why I already told hubby na next cycle, lilac me Kay dr novero.   Nasayang lang kasi shots ko of gonal f this cycle coz di nag mature follicles ko..

hi, sis goldie888- sorry for the late response....  re recovery, i stayed at madocs for 3 days.  On the 7th day, pumasok nako because i need to attend to a very important business conference (i cannot afford to be absent, biggest client kasi namin kasama and ako ang may handle) but the following day, diko kinaya... medyo masakit pa din kasi sugat (para ka ding na cs and konting tawa mo lang parang bubuka na tho maliit lang cut sis... don't worry much as depende rin siguro sa tolerance mo ng pain 
If i remember it right, 3 weeks or almost a month after ng lap ko nakapag drive nako tho medyo till now na almost 4 mos. na ko naoperahan, occassionally medyo kumikirot pa din but carry lang 
Important kasi do not engage for the mean time in a stressfull activity...  Mas maganda kung fully healed and recovered ka para iwas sisi sa huli (medyo matigas kasi ulo ko... ayoko ng laging nakahiga kaya siguro medyo sumasakit at times 
If you are in the office lang naman, pwede ka na siguro pumasok a week after (tho sabi ko nga depende sayo kung kaya mo na... Kay Dra. Sualao medyo di muna niya recommend... Pinapagalitan nga ako before kasi sabi ko pasok nako a week after, tigas ng ulo ko... Sobrang committed daw ako sa company, hehe

Hi sis zippo - based on our discussion, he's very accomodating and thorough naman mag explain... Since may idea naman na ako actually ng procedure (thanks to GT, learned a lot from here :-) kaya more on step by step procedure na gagawin ang tinanong namin sa kanya, tests and procedures to be done before the ivf, fees, etc. 
I would suggest bring all the necessary test results before you visit him.  List all the things/questions you want to ask para siguradong sulit talaga pagpunta mo sa kanya.  Don't forget to tell him din pala if you are pcos, has a history of anything or what kasi sinusulat nia yan sa chart mo while having discussion with him.  hth!

Hi everyone. =) Do you have any idea about Dra. Hilda Martinez, Dr. Edwin Dimayuga and Dra. Aileen Manalo? I will be having my laparoscopy and I am confused where to go. I already visited Dra. Manalo and Dra. Matinez and their opinions are different. According to Dra. Manalo she will try to save my fallopian tubes kasi mukha naman daw hindi sobrang damaged. But according to Dra. Martinez my tubes are extremely damaged so she has to cut it and my only hope to have a baby is through IVF. 
Please help me. Thanks! =)

hi. =) i was diagnosed with blocked fallopian tubes. I visited 3 doctors which includes Dra. Manalo and Dra. Martinez. I am very confused. Sabi ni Dra. Manalo pwede pa daw isave ang tubes ko. According to Dra. Martinez naman hindi na daw pwede and my only hope eh ivf. Any idea about Dra. Manalo and Dra. Hilda Martinez? We are waiting for menstruation para magpa schedule ng laparoscopy. Please help me mga sisters. thank you. =)

^^Naging OB ko si Dra. Martinez like for a couple of months. Magaling siya but not all good doctors gives the best advice. (Hindi ito bitter na statement ah) If hindi ka naman nagmamadali magkababy sis, try Dra Manalo maybe she had patients na merong similar case like yours. Ask her what she has in mind para sabihing she can save your tubes.

Hi sis pink_blush01. Thanks for your reply. It means a lot. =) I am already 33 years old. I have hydro in both tubes. Pero hindi sya visible sa ultrasound. Nakita nung nagpahysterogram ako. There is also a possibility that I have endometriosis. If you don't mind what was the advice of dra. martinez sayo?   Thanks again. =)

Hi sis, i used to go to Dr Irene Sy sa may dimasalang, yeap she accepts medicard sis, nagagamit ko sa consulation ko dati, but i changed OB narin, im now with sua-lao, and i should say she is far better off than irene sy.

thanks for the pointers and prayers too... need it most un nga din problem ko i cant be away too long coz work demands a lot from me... and lalo akong ma stress if im out more than a week, and im sure pagagalitan nanaman ako ni doc nyan hehe... i was asking her nga if pwde ba one week lang sagot nya "hinde, avail m leave mo" hahaha na sermonan tuloy ako sa kakulitan ko it took me like 2 weeks before i was able to ask for a leave of absence for the procedure, paalam ko 1 week lang muna... my work is not limited to desk bound, i go on field work kc nasa sales ako sis kya mukhang hirap base sa kwento m sis

how was the lap sis? i mean [textspeak!] na daw ang next step? kc sa akin she said if hindi nya ma unclog, ivf candidate na me huhuhu...

^^^hi sis simplyfab, si dra martinez OB ko ngayon pero i used to see dra eileen manalo for almost 2 years din bago ako lumipat ke dra martinez. i had laparoscopy in january 2010 at asian hospital w/ dra manalo due to endometriosis. im still TTC til now    anyway, magkaibang-magkaiba kasi sila… Dra manalo is malambing kausap while sobrang seryoso naman si dra martinez. Magkaiba din approach nila…sabi ni dra martinez, nung tiningnan nya history ko, hindi naman daw kelangan na nagpa-laparoscopy ako dati kasi eh hindi naman severe endometriosos ko. nakaka-confuse di ba? Sa case mo sis, kung sinabi ni dra manalo na kaya pa nyang i-save tubes mo then siguro better go for dra. manalo. atleast may hope pa syang binibigay sa yo    or ok lang din naman siguro mention mo ke dra manalo yung reason ni dra martinez kung bat kelangan na nyang putulin tubes mo, or vice versa. Wag ka na lang siguro mag-name drop   pareho naman silang mabait and makikinig sa yo sis. try mo rin mag-backread sa old laparoscopy thread para mas ma-enlighten ka... mukhang may nag-post din dun na kagaya ng case mo.
