From experience, one important thing that you have to know when you want to eat in Batanes is that many of the restaurants / cafes will require you to make a reservation first. You can't just walk in and order, especially at Bunker Cafe, Casa Napoli, etc. Sa Batanes Seaside Lodge and SDC Canteen lang yata kami naka-walk in at naka-order nang walang reservation.

Also, may mga nagsara na ring mga kainan like Hiro's Cafe & Lunch Box.

Sa Shanedel naman palaging may sakit o kaya naka-leave ang cook. 

I haven't tried eating at Fundacion & Vatang Grill, though, so I'm not sure kung kailangan din ng reservation.

Also, if you want to go around and a van cannot be immediately provided by your resort/lodging, you will have to text the tricycle terminal to pick you up --  0929.703.8404.

I had breakfast kanina sa Pension Ivatan near the airport, and puwede walk-in. Their tapsilog is good!  👍

Depende kung ilan kayo. Definitely, mas makakamura kung marami kayo. Kahit pagkain sa Batanes may kamahalan. Just to give you an idea, ang pagkain namin for 2 sa SDC Canteen (hindi pa resto ito) ay umabot na sa almost PHP 300. Kanin, ulam, saka bottled water lang 'yun for 2.

Dream ko dito maghoneymoon pag kinasal na ako. Sana matupad. Kahit 5 days stay lang dito ok na. Magkano kaya magagastos pag ganon?

Ganda nya, pricey lang.  Buti na lang naipasok kami sa loob ng tour guide namin kasi may kakilala sya.  Nakapagpictures kami hanggang sa likod. Yung rooms lang ang off-limits sa amin.

^ Sis, you can check the rates on their website. I'm not sure kung nagvavary depending on the season. Basta more than PHP 10K a night. You are required to book at least 2 nights.

I was there between 6sept-11sept. Total nagastos is 16k per person. We were two lang.  Stayed at shanedel's. If anybody needs trike/tourguide sa batan and sabtang. I can refer yung tourguide namen. Mababait sila. since offpeak kami pumunta, mukhang di din in season yung yvatan cuisine. At mahal nga food.
Ang ganda sa batanes. Mahal nga lang but there were so many sights to see. Ang sarap tumambay at to just get lost in nothingness. Tahimik, fresh air, view ng pacific ocean or china sea sa hills. Haaaay therapeutic.
