^I have mine delivered to the house for free. I get them at Doggie Land in Mandaluyong. A 10kg bag costs Php2300 and lasts for a month kasi we have 9 cats.

Sis, 10 kg bag of wet food? Sorry kasi sanay lang ako sa cans na single serve. Yun lang kasi meron dito. So, how do you store that? Anong klaseng container meron siya?

^^sis, hindi sya wet food. They're dry cat food (Royal Canin Indoor 27 dry catfood). Yung wet food nila comes in cans too (Friskies). I get those shipped to me from the US kasi mas mura dun compared to here. But minsan pag naubusan ako I buy them at S&R.

Royal Canin is also available at vet clinics.
Stocks are a bit limited so what I do is order way ahead of time to ensure availability. I feed my cats IAMS and RC and so far they're doing good and growing well. Science Diet is also a good choice.

^Thanks sis :) you may want to donate instead to their cause to help these poor animals get medical attention. You may know more info about it in CARA Welfare, the one who's doing this adoption day:

hi sisses!

will my pusacats (pusang kalye cats) still eat usual left-over foods like rice with fish/meat/veggie if i will feed them with Royal Canin, Princess something and other cat foods aside from Whiskas? im worried kc i only get to feed them whiskas when im in the province, cats are in the province kc.

back then, i noticed that my cats gained weight and have shiny hair when i started feeding them with whiskas and friskies but now kc ayaw na nila pansinin whiskas even if gutom na cla.

im afraid baka hindi na cla kumain ng left-over foods if i will start feeding them other cat foods.

i also used to give them tiki-tiki vitamins, only quarter part of the dropper bigay ko per cat, but then, i noticed na naaadik sila kc nung natabig and natapon laman ng 1 bottle of tiki-tiki as in nagkagulo cla sa pag-inom nung tiki-tiki, i mean liquid kc un and dinidilaan nila so inom na rin.. hehe! di ko sure exact tawag dun.. =)

thank u thank u! =D

Omneecka:

For me, swerte ka kasi napapakain mo cats mo ng hindi cat food. Certain cats can be picky eaters (parang tao din) or they get into an eating habit na mahirap i-break, unless you'd be there or someone would guide them. Like my mag-monitor na unti-unti ihahalo yung whiskas sa usual food while unti-unti binabawasan ang rice.

My cats will never eat human/left over/gills/ raw meat even if it stared them in the face. It's great kasi hindi sila nakakahiya kasama sa mga parites kasi hindi sila PG hehe.

Pero if I had my way, since cats are obligate carnivores pa rin (they don't need veggies nor rice) I would rather sana they eat pinakaluan lang na liver, chicken meat or ground beef. I did this when my first cat was younger. Super healthy siya, kaso since I'm working I cannot manage to do this all the time for him, so ayun bagsak siya sa canned cat food and looks like mahirap na talaga sila i-break from it.

Last thing, wag biglain ang cats na magbago ng diet, it can be fatal to them. Kasi kapag hindi talaga nila gusto pagkain (it can be a survival reaction, they don't trust the food kasi bago sa pang-amoy nila) kapag nalipasan sila ng gutom their livers will react in such a way na hindi na sila makakaramdam ng gutom and slowly their liver is reacting negatively na (it gets fatter or something) they can get sick and die in a few days.

ouchness! nakakalungkot naman toh sis! =(
thanks for informing me! =)
oo nga, i think its better pa rin not to used them to eat only cat foods kc mahihirapan lang cla including my parents who wont understand and wont tolerate to spend bucks for my cats' foods kaya nakakatikim lang cats ko ng cat foods everytime uwi ako ng province.

^ Table food leftovers are definitely a no-no since onions and garlic and other spices are not good for them. There are also a lot of food that are harmful for our pets so we really have to be careful. Not all cat food have good and nutritious contents either so it is best to know what we give them.  :)

I need help. It seems like my barely 6month old Persian kitty is getting sick of Royal Canin (he's been on it for 5months). My fiance and I are thinking of switching to Princess or Science Diet but I'm not quite sure where to find it. I don't remember seeing it at Tiendesitas, or maybe it was just out of stock. Can you tell me where I can get either of the two? TIA!

^Check any vet clinics or you can go to VIP in Mandaluyong. They have Science Diet cat food.

we got our baby kitten on Saturday... she cried so much when we brought her home, we got a bit worried for her.

Nasa bathroom muna sya ngayon with her kitty litter. Nabasa namin kasi na dapat dun muna sya sa isang room for about a week para alam nya na dun yung kitty litter nya. She had 2 mishaps so far ;D she peed sa shower and sa corner ng bedroom namin! Pero before that naman, she peed sa kitty litter nya so I guess nalilito lang sya and trying to figure out pa nasan yun kitty litter nya :D

saka quiet sya pag nasa bathroom sya (well initially she would cry for about 3 minutes pag she realized we closed the door), pero pag binuksan namin yun pinto para we can play, meow sya ng meow grabe parang umiiyak pero hindi naman. Di namin maintindihan lol
