^hay.. yun na nga kinakatakot ko. if ever, i'll have to face my landlord's wrath... sayang, a persian cat is up for adoption pa naman dito (Taipei)... i'm waiting for my landlord's reply kung ok lang sa kanya. if yes, i'll go and buy thick covers for everything!

Im lucky to have her! Every time I wake up in the morning, she's the first thing that pops into my mind. I hate having to leave her in my apartment, by herself and no one to play with. I've been buying more stuff for her than myself hehe

I bought a 3-mo old Persian cat from my cousin last Wednesday. First time ko magalaga ng cat! Buti she's potty trained na. I named her Lucille. She's healthy naman, very active and marunong siyang sumunod pag tinatawag ko. My only concern is that masyado siyang clingy! I mean, wala pa siyang one week sakin pero pag nakikita niya ako gusto niya laging nakadikit sakin. I let her sleep in my room with me, pero gusto niya on top of me siya matulog! I don't know if di lang ako sanay because I've never had a pet before. Pag nasa bed na ako she goes up to my face tapos hinahalikan and dinidilaan niya lips ko. Ganun na rin ako magising ngayon, and super aga pa! I made her a sleeping spot pero mas prefer niyang nakapatong or dikit sakin. Minsan kahit naglalakad lang ako, sumasabay siya tapos gusto niya between my feet siya naglalakad. And pag naliligo naman ako, pagbukas ko ng door after, naka-abang lang siya sakin sa kabilang side. Normal ba yun sa pusa?

^sis, normal lang yan. I have 9 cats and they're all like that. They all sleep with us. Kaya minsan di na kami makagalaw sa kama at ang sarap ng tulog nila. Kakahiyang paalisin!    Notice ko lang mas makarinyo ang mga boys ko than the girls.

My cat has never slept with me until this past weekend. I was surprised when he jumped on the bed and stretched out himself right next to me. He holds on pa to my hand while he sleeps. Medyo mahirap gumalaw when he sleeps next to me but I find it cute and sweet. He normally wakes me up by 6 in the morning by playing with his toy ball, but last Sunday, he jumped on the bed around 5am and tapped me on my shoulder until I opened my eyes and looked at him. When I saw that it was only 5:13, I told him to let me go back to sleep coz it was too early. He went ahead and slept on my laptop. Hehe.

My fiance keeps rescuing cats from the street. Our first cat, Chanel, was a street cat but I had to let her go because she started getting aggressive when she turned 4months. Then he rescued another cat the day before I bought my now 4month old Persian cat. That time, we still had Chanel and she disliked the Hugo (the Persian kitty) and Garnet (the second cat rescued). She hissed at the two boys (Garnet was a male kitty). Eventually, we let go of Garnet after nursing his left eye (his left eye had an infection) for a few days. Just last week, my fiance rescued another cute kitty near my office in Ortigas, but as much as we wanted to keep her, Hugo, who's normally very calm and gentle got angry and jealous. He got so stressed that night that he started pooping on himself. That was after he hissed at and scratched my fiance on his right arm. And then he locked himself in the bathroom for one day without drinking and eating. Naturally, we had let go of the cute little kitty (was supposed to name her Prada pa naman).

Hugo doesn't really scratch the furniture at home. He just loves to chew on and play with cables, wires, or any string that's within his reach. He also plays with his toys from time to time. We're getting him a scratching post soon so he has something to scratch on when he feels like it.

The litter we've been waiting on, finally may nag fold na ears!! We're going to have a black silver tabby!

Stressful pala magbreed ng scottish fold.. hindi mo masisigurado kung magfold ears nila or not!

Gusto ko kasi talaga ng scottish fold na breed, ayaw ko ng iba.. so hirap na hirap si hubby maghanap ng kitten lol pero finally meron nahanap!

i only use Buster for my cats kasi mild lang sya and i especially like the powder scent.  for my white persian, we would use perla soap first para mamaintain yung white coat nya then Buster after.  we buy it from Animal House for P150 per bottle. it can last for a couple of months rin depending on the size and number of your cats. we dilute it in water esp for our kittens.

For my cats kasi I let them eat both dry and wet, I think it makes their diet varied. Pero sobrang limited ang wet food dito sa MidEast, Fancy Feast sila when they were kittens  pero Whiskas na sila now that they turned one. Pero hindi ako happy sa Whiskas kasi hindi masyado type ng mga pusa ko. They love IAMS na dry food naman, medyo mahal but keeps them full for a long time so happy na ko.

^that's what we're going to do too kasi ganun sya pinapakain ng breeder.. raw ground meat mixed with royal canin wet food.. tapos yun biscuits daw some days

^^Before I used to feed my cats Whiskas and Friskies dry cat food. But after a while notice ko naging sore yung gums nila resulting to two of my cats losing some of their teeth. After consulting with our vet, we were advised to change their dry food to Royal Canin indoor dry food. Medyo mahal but nag-improve yung mga gums nila and their poop is not that smelly.

Explanation ng vet namin the cheap commercial dry catfood like Whiskas and Friskies are not good for long periods kasi nakakasira sa gums nila and over time crystals are formed in the cats urinary tract which leads to UTI and other health problems.

Though I still feed them the wet/canned Friskies catfood. For breakfast I give them wet and dry. What I do is I soften their dry catfood with a bit of hot water first then mix it with the wet/canned food. Then through out the day dry catfood na sila. They have been on this diet for 4 years already and healthwise they're all good.
