sis tigerlily. thanks, alam ko yung red ribbon, lapit lang din pala. 2.8 months na si baby ko. she's good na when it comes to ABC, shapes and the likes, sulat na nga lang hindi e. ang like ko lang talaga is yung makipag-interact sa kids , mahiyain pa kasi siya if there are new peeps around her e.

may school din kasi sa likod/baba ng house namin, manage by my aunt-in-law kaso 3-3.5 age range ang pwede saka curriculum na talaga like tuturuan na kung ano ano, pwede ko din siya isali saling-kit lang if ever since sa baba lang namin maexpose lang siya sa mga kids. Still under negotiations pa with hubby kasi summer, magvavacay vacay pa kasi so parang sayang if you missed 2-3 classes diba.

^^ may makeup classes sila. kasi yung ni-attend naming trial classes with teacher mitch are makeup classes. siguro naman it's the same for all kindermusiks.

^actually, for 3-5 yo na class nila, wala rin naman masyadong sulat-sulat. yung isang trial class namin merong lang coloring. it's almost pure play pero with a purpose for honing social skills, sharing, waiting for your turn, motor skills, etc. mga ganun. hindi talaga sya academic na parang sa traditional school. maganda rin yan saling-cat kung socialization lang naman ang habol mo. magkaiba pala ng age range ang babies natin, di magiging magclassmate babies natin.

in my son's case, i didn't see any benefit on my son from attending kindermusik.  he had it when kindermusik just started in the philippines, so that was about 5 yrs ago.  in my opinion, it was a waste of money.

my son had the kindermusik when was about 1.5yrs old.  wala kasing natutunan.  i think for kids at that age din, play play lang sa bahay or just talk to them a lot and they will eventually learn.  my pamangkin had gymboree naman when he was about 1 yr of age.  the parents also feel that it was a waste of money. 

in my opinion lang ha, there are right age to learn things.  for me, a child less than 2 yrs of age doesn't need to go to school or attend any other class activities.  kasi it is too young for them, and they don't understand pa.  way back when we were small, wala naman mga ganun but we grew up to be okay naman.

my son had kumon when he was about 2.5 - 3.5 yrs old.  for me, it was beneficial for him, because he is mentally ready to count na talaga.  he had taekwondo when he was about 4.5 yrs old.  total waste of money too.  too early too in my opinion.

that is why sa ngayon, i really try to find out first if my child is ready for a certain extra curricular activity.  kasi kung hindi pa, sayang ang panahon and pera.

i enrolled my kid (3yo) to kindermusik kasi i can see he can follow the teacher's instructions and get along well with the class. this is from the free trial classes we attended. he's an only one and i wanted him to practice more socialization skills besides his cousins whom we see not very frequently rin. ayoko palabasin ng bahay, di ko ganun kagusto ang ugali ng mga bata dito sa amin. naririnig ko sila nagliligawan at nagmumurahan. toinks!

actually, pwedeng huwag ko na sya i-enroll dahil kaya ko naman lahat yun ginagawa. sangkatutak ang books namin, we sing songs and i have taught my kid a lot since we're unofficially homeschooling. sa june we will start na talaga with the curriculum. pero kailangan nya yung social skills e. and he enjoys meeting new friends. kindermusik is not like the traditional school na academics ang magegain ng bata. it's the social skills, motor skills and play. di ko lang sure with other classes (kaya i highly recommend to take the trial class to see if it's for you and your kid), but gusto ko rin yung kasali ang parents sa activities.

^ sis ok ba yung kids in that age group sa class nila? My 3 yr old daughter started with Our Time
(1 1/2-3years) although she's fond of music & singing, she hadn't enough socialization with the kids kase that class is more on caregiver-child bonding. I think my daughter didnt enjoy it that much kase she gets tired easily, eh masyado madali ang phasing ng activities. I swear kahit ako dali mapagod, hehe. What i observed naman sa Imagine That (3-5 years), ang rough ng mga kids especially the boys. Hindi naman din masaway ni teacher. Kaya me & hubby decided to enroll my daughter na lang in a montessori preschool this summer. By the way, my daughter was under teacher Suzette. She is very good, but minsan ang gulo talaga ng class kase she's mabait so sometimes she allow even the siblings to join in the class kahit hindi naka enroll.

my son was enrolled to the class for the youngest age.  so i think baka mas okay siya for bigger kids.  my son will also be homeschooled this coming school yr.  tma kinuha namain.  san kayo? =)

^we got the sonlight curriculum kasi mahilig anak ko sa books. as in di nya mapigilan makinig kapag binasahan mo na sya ng book. gusto ko sana kumuha ng local curriculums pero hirap ako kumuha ng information from them - i need to email or call pa. gusto ko andun na lahat ng info at kung may kulang saka lang ako magtatanong. saka ko na poproblemahin ang filipino at philippine history kapag nagdecide na kaming magtuloy tuloy talaga.

^^ganun naman yata sa lahat ng kindermusik. kasi si teacher mitch ok lang din sumali ang siblings. kasi yung trial class namin graduation nung isa kaya buo silang pamilya at sumali rin yung mga kapatid. pero yung isa pang session, wala na yung mga kapatid nya. magulo talaga ang class kasi mga bata e. yung last trial class namin, 4 sila. nung story time na, anak ko lang ang nakikinig sa story kasi adik talaga sa books yun. yung 2 medyo nakikinig pero naghaharutan. and then yung 1 pa, e nasa isa pang sulok, ayaw makigulo. kahit anong tawag nila, yung gusto nya lang gawin ang gagawin.

hindi nila talaga pinapansin kapag may nangungulit. di rin nila papagalitan. uulitin lang nila yung instruction. or papalapitin nila. pero hindi nila pipilitin yung bata kung ayaw.

i haven't tried a montessori setup yet. gusto ko din sya i-try. sana may makita akong free trial lang.

same lang din pala siya sa setup ng isang trial class na naattendan ko..sa Timog naman. though sa kindermusik may specific curriculum sila like Time, and so on.. may books and instrument din..pero dun sa naattendan ko 2 hours pero parang kulang yung time para magawa lahat yung agenda for the day,

i might not enroll my baby in such na lang, i'll check for other things / bonding moments or play date with other kids para maimprove yung socialization niya. kasi yun lang talaga habol ko for play class e.

tama din si sis tigerlily, may bata din dito mas matanda lang baby ko 6 months, ayun hindi ko type ang ugali, namamalo ng wala lang, tapos parang asal kalye yung bata, parang lahat ng okay na naituro ko sa anak ko, once na nakipaglaro siya sa bata na yun ng isang linggo or dalawang araw, mawawala lahat or maadapt pa niya, so mas gusto ko kami kalaro ng baby ko..or pag maglalaro man outside, hindi nagtatagal na kalaro yung ibang bata.

anyone had tried woth teacher frances in willow tree? plan ko enroll 20 month baby boy ko sa our time.  for just 6 session. do you think mga sis it will be worth it or just a waste of money?

Hi mommies! Share ko lang. Baby Zoe just had her trial class this morning and enrolled her after. I think she enjoyed it! She was shy when we came pero later she's dancing with the music na. I hope mawala yung pagiging mahiyain nya. Makulit namam kasi sya pag kami lang. Napakabibo! Hehe..

^We attended the trial class last Jan. 12. Then we opted to attend Sundays na lang. Nagstart na kami last Sunday. What's the name of your baby pala?
