anyone planning to go this weekend?

and same question as sis lakwatsa. paano ba ang process, hanap hanap muna then pag may ok na pila na? hall 1-4 kasi so parang mahabang libutan muna hehe. saka super mura nga ba talaga?

depende eh. mura yun iba kas they offer package deals pero it's not really a super markdown. kumbaga, reasonable price lang talaga. they have stalls. so ang systema, ikot ikot ka muna. tingin ka ng prices tapos icompare mo. tapos pag gusto mo na bumli, bayad ka sa mismong stall. don't worry, marami kayong mauuwing basura a.k.a flyers.

Just to clarify, the Philippine Travel Mart is different from the Philippine Travel and Tour Expo. The organizers for each of these events are actually rivals in the travel and tourism industry.

Maybe a new thread needs to be created for the event this weekend.

^Kaya pala, napansin ko kasi yung last year sa SM Mega was called 21st Philippine Travel Mart at yung sa dadating na weekend is called 18th PTAA Philippine Travel and Tour Expo. So yung sa SM Mega this April as per freeswan will be the 22nd Philippine Travel Mart?

Sana makapunta ako this weekend. If not yung sa April na lang.

^Like I've mentioned in my earlier post, ang focus kasi ng Travel Mart domestic destinations, compared to the Travel and Tour Expo which is mainly international, aside from having different organizers. Will be there first thing this Friday as I have to purchase tickets...plus, the airline company which I used to work for always puts up a booth so time to visit colleagues, too!

Funny yung comment regarding basura but true!!! Same thing happens with me. Nice to get all those flyers and what-have-yous but in the end, they always clog my garbage bin.

^ Try to visit pa rin riandrew. As you can see from the venue's floor plan, there's an almost 50-50 division between local and international, respectively. There might still be good deals to go around with.

@mama squeak-ok, will keep you posted...I'm getting revenue tix for my parents for SFO, too...I booked them with the airline directly last month pa (they couldn't give me any info on the expo promotions) so in case I see a better deal on Fri, I'll change my bookings into those instead.
