^sis with singapore zoo, jurong bird park and night safari ang alam ko may mga free day pass sila pero you have to apply for it then i raraffle off nila doon sa mga nag apply. max of two tickets ata per application then ones a month lang sila nag raraffle. nung bago amg bukas ang USS nagkaroon ng event for the singtel staff they were given a free pass (although di ako sure if nakapag rides sila noon) -- it started from 7 to 10pm.

^it's the moonsoon season po kasi notice the weather in mindanao right now, maulan rin. if sa luzon area rainy season is around june - october (or can even extend upto november) dito baligtad. same goes with the neighbouring countries like malaysia and indonesia.

^ 5K SGD depends on how many people in your family...are you alone,with kids or couple...and kung anong klaseng accomodations ang gusto ninyo.kung simple lang lifestyle ninyo,kakasya yun....
To give you an example of expenses:
For a couple and a pet cat,monthly:
1-Grocery bills-1,200 + (depends if we feel like cooking more)
2-Bills (water,electricity,gas,cable tv)-300
3-Accomodation (1,000 sq.ft ; since company provided, I'm just estimating for 2 bedroom condo unit)-4-5K
4-dining out-500 (lesser is we feel like eating out or deliveries more)
5-Shopping-variable.I don't shop as much for frivolities nor designer stuff.

looking at renting or purchasing a 2br in the central area for a couple but i think renting a hd..something would be a lot cheaper, in the mean time.

MauiGS, nung kami sa Tiger Clark, and I don't think uulit pa ko dun, might settle for CebuPacific na lang siguro. Sa TigerAirways ko kasi nafeel yung parang umatras sa ere yung plane.

5-8K/mo is more than enough already specially if wala ka namang binubuhay na pamilya and you're single. if 2 naman kayo nagwowork it should be more than enough parin, working abroad is not the same as pinas --- basic salary here in singapore is 1,8k for s-pass holders, if you're from the IT industry salary can go up to $5k or even more, depends on your specialization. rent for a room costs around $500-$700 depends if you're renting a hdb lang or condo room, plus the location. if you're eyeing on renting your own flat, expect to allot atleast $1,8K for a 2br HDB unit, if you are eyeing the central area it should cost more. for food of course it depends whether you eat at a restaurant or sa hawker. PUB (utilities) costs around $70-$80 this can include shared internet already. and i agree, hindi pwede mapunta lahat sa expenses kanya kanyang diskarte kung paano makakaipon. a colleague works at swissotel earns only $1,5k/mo but nakakaipon naman and padala pa at the same time.

sis bluegintonic, $4K yung 2br condo nyo? ang mahal. sa city proper banda yan? when we were still looking for a place to rent just a month ago mga 3br na nakikita namin ni hubby nasa $3K-$3,5K lang. cheapest na nakita namin is $2,5k pero sa serangoon area na cya. may nakita kami before sa aljunied but may nakakuha din agad.

Thanks for the feedbacks on TigerAirways . Sana may magshare pa ng experience nila. Tinitignan ko kasi yung AirPhil kaso di ko gusto yung departure time from Manila kaya baka mag Tiger na lang kami, kaso natakot naman ako dun sa parang umatras sa ere ang eroplano haha
