Hmmm.. I'm not snobbish when it comes to books pero there are certain kinds talaga na hindi ko type basahin.. I will never say na hindi ko sila babasahin ever, ( I might, just to see what's the hype all about).. Nakabasa na yata ako from cheapest Tagalog pocketbooks that you see being sold on sidewalks to encyclopedias.

I don't like young adult fiction. I have read several na, di sya talaga para sa akin, with the exception of  The Hunger Games. Because it is science fiction. I LOVE anything SF. And fantasy books... alright, not all, but most.

During my HS days, ang mga Tagalog pocketbooks noon are not as cheesy and corny ng mga available ngayon. My HS friends used to love them, so ako naman eh hiram din kasi curious. (Yes,hiram. We were poor, couldn't afford to buy books for leisure reading..kaya kahit na ano mahawakan ko eh binabasa ko, kahit porn like pa sya hahaha.. Kaya siguro student librarian ako from elementary to college)..

Like most here, ayoko din ng self-help books. I have several na, hindi naman nakatulong..

Suspense/Crime and Too life-like books. When I read, I want to be in a whole different world kaya ayoko nung mga stories na super realistic. I'd rather watch them than spend time reading them, na bo-bore ako.

Not really "i will never read", but more on wala akong tyaga basahin are self-help / motivational books with more than 150 pages (may limit pa talaga, hehe). Sobrang inaantok ako sa ganyan...
Also, gaya din ng ilan dito, i'm not a fan of paulo coelho. His books are very "preachy" for me...I tried to read By the river piedra...,the Zahir and Brida pero puro umpisa lang. So far, the alchemist and veronika decides to die (which i like) lang ang napagtyagaan ko basahin

I don't think I'll ever read the Shopaholic books by Sophie Kinsella.  A friend kept raving about the series so I thought of giving it a try, but I only managed to get through a couple of pages before I got bored.
