Hi! has anyone sent their kids to Multiple Intelligence International School along Katipunan? Just want some feedback regarding the school cause Im thinking of enrolling my son there. My choices are MI, Ateneo and UPIS. Thanks

i hope someone here can give feedback about the Community of Learners Foundation.
my son is an incoming grade 1 student next school year and as early as now i'm already looking for schools to consider within the boundary of Mandaluyong-Pasig-San Juan.

please share also the tuition fee and other helpful information.
is their tuition fee at the level of Keys Grade School in Mandaluyong?
won't be able to afford it if that's the case

^COLF is one of the good progressive schools, sis. They also cater to children with special needs.
Their tuition isn't like Keys. It's way lower.

You may want to consider Lourdes School and LSGH for your son as well.

I've heard LSGH's tuition is at 120K, so it's out of my list.

Sharing something I've found. Although, the rate here was 3 years ago. Factor in the 6% - 12% annual increase and you'll have an idea on the tuition fee now.

COLF already moved to San Juan. Address is at 1-C Montessori Lane, Brgy. Addition Hills, San Juan. They're very near Keys Grade School, although Key's address is in Mandaluyong. I guess it's because of the city boundary between San Juan and Mandaluyong.

I think our parents are inclined to choose the traditional schools, some would find the progressive method laid back since the philosophy is quite new to them.

^yes i would agree kasi we, parents, were taught in the traditional method so medyo hindi pa natin ma fully understand yung concept ng progressive schools.
my daughter now is in grade in a traditional school and i am considering transferring her to manila waldorf school next year. her school now is good academically but she tells me she is not happy in her new school. in her pre-school kasi she went to a progressive school.
she might still be adjusting but if things dont improve for the by the end of the schoolyear, we will definitely transfer her to waldorf which is also nearer our home and which i have heard and read really good reviews. mukhang fit sila ng personality ng daughter ko because she is more into arts and music.

The slayer: He goes to a montessori school now.  my mom is happier with the school and feels my brother is doing better. I don't think its better than COLF but rather a better fit for my little bro.

sis belliecute, two summers na dito pumapasok anak ko. Last year and this year. Okay naman dito. Security, Academics and Facility. Pero opinion ko better yung last year, kesa ngayong taon kasi nagkagulo pa nung last day ng summer. Pero nag apologized naman yung school and bumawi sa second batch. Unfortunately hindi ko na pinasok anak ko nung second batch.

For grade school, nakikita ko yung pictures super konti lang ng students nila 5 to 6 students. And Progressive approach sila.

Tuition fee per school year: 100K to 120K plus.

^ Ateneo Grade School gives honors (First and Second Honors) to all students who meet the criteria and grade requirement.   There is an Honors Assembly every year.  I am not aware kung binabasa ang ranking per class. As I understand it, First or Second Honors will be given to all students who meet the academic and deportment (conduct) requirement for the distinction.

Sa grade 1, Holy Guardian Angel award ang counterpart ng First Honors for academic achievement.

Hi just recently discovered this forum. Well sad to say my son is enrolled in CSA and yes they are very accommodating with very modern families but when it comes to the children supper disappointed ako.

Right now we are checking out schools for my son.

I came upon it tonight and it looks interesting -- kaya lang not much about them online yet... i guess they're still new... their signage says they have sped in addition to preschool and elementary...
