My daughter will be 5 1/2 this June 2013, incoming Prep. I have already inquired with The Raya School in QC and she will have a Sit-In Class this coming January 11 and 18. I also inquired with The School of the Holy Spirit at Ilang Ilang Street for their admission requirements. Will check for more schools.

So far dalawa pa lang nasa list ko: St. Paul QC and HSS Cubao. I inquired the tuition fee of both schools, mas cheaper sa HSS but i received good feedback in terms of their academics. Sa St. Paul naman gusto ko yung facilities nila. Will visit these two schools for ocular  and admission requirements.

^I agree with Holy Spirit School. Will probably visit the school after my daughter's Sit In Class in Raya School this Friday.

^ i'll ask my friend re: tuition fee. her son goes to kolisko kasi. there's also manila waldorf but nag-transfer na sa antipolo although meron yatang shuttle service sa qc.

To those who live near kapitolyo area, can you recommend any Grade Schools near that area? Balak kasi namin lumipat this summer para mas malapit na ako sa work ko.

^ Not sure if you have a son or daughter but the grade schools near Kapitolyo are St. Paul Pasig (girls), Lourdes School Mandaluyong (boys) and Domu Schola International School (coed).

siz any feedback sa angelicum college, gusto ko kasi coed sana eh, st. theresa's college kasi exclusive for girls, malapit na kasi mag grade school baby ko hanggang ngayon wala pa akong idea kung saan. tia

drpeewee- prep for kolisko waldorf is around 60k according to my friend. they also have german language lesson there. my friend's son is already in 2nd grade and can converse in basic german

^thanks Kitchen Goddess. I haven't been to Waldorf yet, but will definitely drop by this week. With regards to tuition fee, it's almost the same with Raya School (65k inclusive of workbooks and uniforms). I also inquired from HSS and STC. With HSS, they suggested that I bring the child already when I submit the requirements so that she can take the exam na.  STC pala doesn't have Prep level. From Kinder 2, the child goes to Grade 1 already.

My daughter took the exam at HSS and next week pa malalaman ang result. I like the place medyo tago and parang secured naman. Then on Thursday sched sya sa St. Paul. Problem ko lang I want her to skip grade 1 na sana, she'll be turning 7 before the school year starts. Age requirement for incoming Grade 1 is 6yrs. old  because of K-12 so baka sya yung pinakamatanda sa class nila. Both schools na napuntahan ko di daw pwede.

@daveigh, nasa sentro ng bayan ng pasig yung mga schools na nasa 40k ang range ng TF. Malapit naman rin yun sa kapitolyo. Another option is mandaluyong if sa pioneer ang daan mo tagos na ng boni ayun nga lang hindi ko alam mga schools dun.

Sa pasig bayan kasi nandun ang pasig catholic college, CBC atbp
