Any reviews in JUBILEE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL and in REEDLEY along C5?

Im currently looking for a christian/co-ed school, hoping its not traditional is plus point.

I know Jubilee is a chinese hehe...but were not...kaso kase christian school kaya we wanted sana...please suggest and help me mommies... thanks

Sisses feedback sa OB montessori please. Iisa lang naman siguro ang curriculum ng lahat ng branches. We're planning on transferring our son kasi either sa OBMC-angeles or westfields international school in angeles din. Kaya lang the thing with westfields, thrice a week ang PE. I mean coming from a traditional school (San Beda) na once a week lang, unusual to for us. My son had his entrance exam last friday sa westfields and according sa result, yung math skills nya is for Grade 4 (he is grade 2, incoming grade 3). Pag ba international school mas advanced yung curriculum nila compared to phil curriculum or same lang?

I've been looking for a big school since last year and we ended up with Betty's Vermillion School in Pasay City. It's near our place and tuition fee is affordable. So far, wala pa naman akong reklamo sa kanila ngayon, the teachers have been nice with my kids and they even extend help and they inform me kung saan dapat tulungan ang kids, saan sila magagaling. Happy naman ako so far. Tuition fee is around 32k exclusive of books and miscellaneous fees.

I am very new to this thread and I find it very useful for parents who are looking for the best school of their children. Not to mention I find the community friendly.

I would like to ask feedback or personal experiences about Paref Woodrose.  We are thinking of transferring our 2 girls back to Philippines and Paref Woodrose is our first choice.  We have no 2nd choice yet but any recommendations in Alabang or Sta Rosa area will be appreciated.  Thanks in advance for your reply...

Hi!  Any feedback on St. Mary's College  Quezon City (elementary) and Immaculate Conception Cathedral School (elementary) in Cubao?  I'm looking for a co-ed school in Quezon City for my incoming grade 1 son.  We cannot afford the likes of Centro Montessori and Benedictine International School. Any good schools for the middle class?    Would appreciate your help

^ my niece is currently a Gr. 2 student at St. Mary's QC. She also started there ng Grade 1. Ok naman sila tuition fee wise, reasonable naman ang fees at included na pati field trip. Books are around 4k. Tuition around 40k. Studies wise, ok naman. Content naman kami sa kanila.

My son is studying in St. Mary's College of Baliuag. Buti pa dito sa province mura pa ang tuition fee.. Monthly tuition fee niya only cost 1,800 plus.. Hindi pa kasama ang books... 100 years na nila.. So far okay naman dito sa alma mater ko.. They still offer good quality of education. They have organization and club which helps to enhance the children's talents and skills. Adviser also see to it that their pupils/students follows the rules and regulations of the school and that each and every student/pupil is doing good in the school. YUng son ko lang talaga medyo playful.. ^_^

hi.  i'd like to ask those who are mandaluyong based, where do you send your kids to school?  my daughter is incoming grade 1 next year.  so far im planning to have her take exams in St. Paul Pasig, Colegio de Sta.Rosa, CSA (if my husband agrees despite the recent gun-pointing incident) and St. Scho manila.

Can you suggest other private schools near mandaluyong?  im looking at a tuition fee budget na hindi naman super bigat.  weve been living here for 5years now and i dont see any nearby private school aside from some that i mentioned.

^ How about Poveda?  It's nearer your place than the schools you mentioned.  ICA also, nasa Greenhills lang.

Hi sis.  we did not include poveda in our prospect gradeschools for my daughter.  although i know a lot of povedans and truly impressed ako sa kanila, budget wise baka di namin kayanin.  yes, kaya namin ang tuition.  but yung lifestyle baka hindi.  mejo simple lang ang pamumuhay namin.  and we are still a young family.  were still saving up for a house.  im afraid baka makita ng anak ko ang mga wala kami at mainggit.  we also thought about it and we agreed na  we should be able to send our kids to school na tipong with my sweldo alone, kaya kong pag aralin sila, theoretically. (its my husband who pays for the tuition in reality)  hehe so in this case, hindi kaya ng sweldo ko ang poveda.

with ICA, i know a couple of girls from ICA and ang gagaling nila sa math lahat!  isang turo palang ng prof namin sa dlsu, maning-mani sa kanila.  but the thing is, we are not chinese.  im wary of sending my daughter to a chinese school na wala ni isa sa amin ang may knowledge sa chinese language.  baka hindi maka cope ang anak ko.  sa filipino subject palang and sibika hirap na sya eh.  baka sa chinese mas lalong bokya pa sya.

^^ I have non-Chinese friends who send their daughters to ICA.   I don't think it would be too big an issue.  We're not Chinese but we are also considering Xavier School for my boys though malayo sa amin.

Poveda naman, I don't know where this lifestyle issue comes from.  I know several Povedans, my cousins included, who are very simple and down-to-earth.

Re tuition, hindi naman nagkakalayo ang tuition ng mga schools na kino-consider mo.  You should factor gas expenses/school bus service too.  Maaring mas mura nga tuition but when you add up the gas expense, eh same lang aabutin.

Anyway, it's up to you.    You asked for suggestions and based on your location, Poveda and ICA are the most accessible.

hey sis advantage ang may 2nd/3rd or 4th language ang bata. i saw the benefit when we started working abroad. those pinoys who can converse in chinese/japanese/korean are paid double. the more languages they know the more bucks they earn.

with ICA, its my daughter i am considering.  she is not exactly enjoying filipino and sibika in school right now, so im thinking if adding another language might be an issue for her.  and i wouldnt be  of any help to her incase of homeworks or reviewing because i have zero mandarin knowledge. 

and yes, we know the advantages of being multi lingual in the workplace.  it would be great to raise a multi-lingual child but then again, now might not be the time for my daughter.

with the schools ive mentioned, yes most of them are in the same tuition bracket which is good.  and weve factored in school bus expenses as well.  we definitely cannot drive our kids to school on the way to work no matter where we enroll her.
