FILM camera users

Anyone?
I got a Vivitar 220/SL last week and just paid for a Nikon FM today.
I havent used any yet kasi Im still researching pa on what film to use. I got my cameras for below $50 each. So good deal talaga and my dad said I finally made one right decision in my life, by getting the Nikon FM. He's a film user din kasi pero mas heavy-duty gamit nya lol. I like the Vivitar din kasi marami good feedbacks about it. Im not really into crisp, fine pictures, mas gusto yung medyo grainy, yung mukhang cross-processed pero hindi. And sa film mo lang makukuha yun. Sana may ibang film users pa dito, para mabigyan nyo ako ng tips

I used to use film back in college. It's exciting. Basta iba sa digital. Better learn how to develop and enlarge your films if you're serious. Super addicting and fulfilling.

yung grainy di na achive dahil lang sa camera. this higher the ISO mas grainy like 200iso.

It's been a while since I logged in to this forum. Anyways, I've a massive collection of prints, pasted on my wall. Taken from daily walks, places I've been to, people I know, people watching.. I never learned how to develop my own film, I really have no time pa kasi to learn. It's an expensive hobby, but I really love it. I feel nostalgic everytime my prints get delivered. Film is not dead.

Meron akong MINOLTA. I used it a lot during college days.. Di na masyado ngayon kase gastos rin ng film.. astig lang ng film no?

I want to buy a Nikon F2 or FM as well. Though I probably would not be serious enough to the point of trying to develop my own prints, I'd love to try out film photography, which I think can help me develop my skills for the DSLR.

I have a Minolta XGM, Polaroid SX70, Canon AE-1, Nikon FM, and a Pentax K1000. All were handed down to me my dad who was a photo-enthusiast during the 70s/ till now. I use my Pentax and Minolta the most. With my Polaroid, I buy film from The Impossible Project. It's about $28 per 10 shots so i only use it for special things/ occasion. My film rolls are currently piled up waiting to be processed. The only store that I go to kasi to process it eh stopped doing it na. So I need to find another store that will do a good job. I love using my cameras as a part of my house decor. Guests thinks na it's for display lang, but I let them tinker with it to know that it actually works.
