I have the 2014 Ford Fiesta MT Trend. For those gals na naka-ford, baka member din kayo ng Ford Club Philippines? I'm kinda active sa forum nila and I go to EBs. 1 EB nalang ako to be bonafide. hehe.

dont buy ford. madaming ongoing case against ford sa DTI including ours, they sell defective units. Been a victim of Fiesta and ecosport.

Fiesta = after 8 months of usage, several engine malfunction, they fixed it 5x, problem occurs every 3 months. So mas matagal pa sa casa kesa sa times na nagamit namin, they wont replace the unit and offered warranty to be extended till 5 yrs, but then we did not agree since hassle for us lagi na lang ipafix so we filed a case in DTI.

Ecosport - day of pickup itself from the dealership wala pang 10mins engine overheat, ngleak ang aircon, overheat 4x, so we returned it the day itself. nireplace naman just because hindi pa narelease ni bank ang payment sa kanila, but then they told us na 'wag na lang po kayo maingay' meaning i think they will still sell the defective unit.

Madami nang issues about ford if you follow fb groups, we are actually being asked by imbestigador for our story. we are just waiting for the decision of dti sa case namin

We never had problems with our Explorer. Baka yung "low-end" cars nila may problema. My friend and tito also have Explorers. We never heard na nagka problem.

^^ kami din kasi we are having a new baby and sikip na ang carseats so we are eyeing for a 7 seater. This was my husband's first pick. Now I am convincing him to get montero na lang mas mura pa.

The "low end" cars are the entry-level cars like fiesta and ecosport

wow very explosive revelations...helpful sya considering na marami ng car dealerships/brands na din. we're considering pa naman an Explorer or Everest (SUV) kasi last year we settled for a Honda City pa lang muna for malling/grocery shopping but since we bought a farm in Quezon, we plan to buy a SUV. Right now, medyo after reading above, baka Subaru na lang kunin namin.

We're planning on buying the new Everest. Our 3yo Explorer baka 1 more year and we will sell it na din. ( we only keep cars for 4 years then replace it). No problems with their mid-range or high/end models so far.

yes. according sa lead tech nila lahat ng ford units (from Thailand) may kanya kanya sakit, kaya kahit siya hindi recommend ang ford, ang maganda lang daw talaga dun is yung american brand/made which is yung mga expensive nga like mustang. according din sa dti, madami na talaga complain against ford kaya kilala na talaga nila yung representative lagi ng ford sa mga hearing or mediation. madalas nga lang para hindi na mahassel ang complainant lagi na lang napayag sa offer ng ford which is warranty extension.

although considered "low-end" 850K and 900K malaking money na un for us. kaya hindi tama yung ginagawa nila

Vhanya, I thought entry level naman for each models like for explorer, I thought, wag dapat yong 2.0 but the high end 3.5 ba ecoboost.

I guess swertihan lang din yan na you won't be sold a lemon. I have the 2014 Fiesta, no problems naman.
Kahit naman ibang brands hindi rin nawawalan ng complaints.

Update: Panalo case namin against Ford via DTI, decision is to refund or replace unit, but then ng Appeal pa sila. We are still not loosing hope, i really hate ford
