Tagaytay (Thread 7)

hi mga sis, anyone stayed at One Tagaytay Place?  We are planning to have an overnight stay there on new year's eve para iwas pollution ang 7month old baby namin.  Malapit ba ito sa mga tourist places?  Any suggestions ng IT, we are family of 4 (2 adults, 9y.o. kid and 7month old baby).  Thanks.

hi, mga sis... is it now safe to go to tagaytay?  is the alert level for taal volcano down already?  we are planning to go there kasi this long weekend with my 2 year old son.  kaya lang i am still a bit scared because baka di pa safe.  pls advise po.  thanks in advance.

kakagalaing lang namin punta fuego today, so we passed by tagaytay and mukha namang safe dahil ang daming tao ah! hindi pa long weekend nyan. i also saw The Theodor Hotel, beside The Boutique. ganda sya ha. yung Lee Boutique din nakita ko, magkakahanay sila ng The Boutique though kung galing ng Manila, mas mauuna ang The Boutique.

Bet Summit Ridge at Taal Vista, for convenience, mas ok ang location ng SR. kasi walk ka [textspeak!] may restos and supermarket. yun nga lang nasa other side of the road sya eh, wala sa hanay ng hotels na mahy view ng taal. so kung view ang habol mo, bet ko ang taal vista. though hindi walking distance to restos and supermarket.

btw, has anyone tried joaquin's bed and breakfast?  want to try sana yung room nila with a garden.  sa isang review kasi ganda daw ng view from this hotel.  kaya lang when i called their numbers, walang sumasagot.  when i called up the cp nos mentioned in their website, may sumagot pero parang hindi ganun ka-friendly.  mejo nag dadalawang isip tuloy ako.  hope to get feedbacks about this hotel para maka book na ako by tomorrow.  thanks in advance! :-)

ay forgot to mention, maulan din sa tagaytay  nung dumaan kami kahapon and today.

re abg of beans, natatabangan ako a coffee nila. kulang sa"coffee-taste". Parang puro tamis at cream. I trie mocha frappe. saka malamok!

finally, i am able to reserve na at theodore hotel. wala pala kasing elevator sa joaquin's bed and breakfast and going down to the rooms with garden or go up if you want a room with a balcony.  since im taking my son with me, it will be difficult going up and down those stairs. baka maubos oras namin sa pagbaba and taas ng baby ko sa stairs.  favorite pa naman nya yun.

^ if youre coming from Tagaytay Bayan/Rotonda, you have to drive past Splendido which would be on your left, slow down ka na until you see the arko of Buck Estate, pasok kayo dun and drive lang around 2kms and youll see na the signage ng Sonyas.

pangit ang rooms ng Taal Vista pag old wing ang kukunin niyo. diyan din nilalagay pag gagamit ng SM advantage promo. kaya mura. pero sa new wing maganda naman, kaso mas mahal.

One Tagaytay- malinis, super comfy ng bed. kahit maliit yung rooms, gustong gusto ko dito kasi ang cozy ng bed at ambiance ng room. mura pa.

I have discount vouchers in Rivera Hotel Tagaytay until September 29. Terminated na pala kasi yun contract nung marketing agency na nag-offer sa akin, recently ko lang nalaman. Baka may sisses natin na gusto 40% and 50% off discount vouchers pa yun meron ako. Sayang naman kasi kung hindi magamit. Papamigay ko na lang.

Sa thursday, may client meeting kami sa tagaytay. Meron na naman kami tambay moments nito sa tagaytay.

mga sis question po, totoo ba yung nabasa ko sa isang blog na kapag pumunta ka ng tagaytay even hindi ka nagpa-reserve ng accommodation marame na sa picnic groove nag-ooffer ng mga hotel, ins ir lodge nila?tIA

^ yeah madami pero subject naman for availability yun, if you plan to have an overnight stay, make sure you do advanced booking para hindi ka emptyhanded when you get there, especially on weekends na sobrang daming tao talaga.

If medyo maselan ka, you have to book ahead talaga if you dont wanna end up taking those dirty/luma rooms in cheapie lodges around Tagaytay.

sis switlemonade ...kinagandahan kasi sis sa Summit, pag labas niyo meron na ka agad mapag pipilian na makakainan na mga restaurant dun + madali na kaagad makapag grocery sa robinson in case may kailanganin kayo kung view naman ang habol Taal Vista sympre...

One Tagaytay and Kimberly palang na-try ko. kung kasama family, mas recommended ko ang Kimberly. mas malaki kasi ang pool at may play ground din sila.

mga sis, ask ko lang malapit ba sa city proper ng tagaytay yung mini zoo sa residence inn at may jeep ba papunta dun, ilang sakay pa po at magkano po entrance. thanks..
