mga sis balak ko sana mag tagaytay alone..di ba delikado?

mag comute lang sana ako then overnyt dun pa help naman mga sis!

1. san mura mag stay kasi alone nga ako..yung safe naman kahit papaano..
2. ano yung magandang IT na yung commute lang pano ko mapupuntahan yung mga spots pag commutelang meron ba dun tricle or sumthing?
3. pano pumunta ng calruega from tagaytay..balak ko din kasing pumunta..

well, as with any place you always have to keep your guards up especially for a lone female traveller like you. Nonetheless, Tagaytay is a place no different from Manila with a few exceptions like less traffic, lots of great dining places, cleaner and peddler-free streets and a surfeit of cheap apartelles/inns that're decent enough if youre not the fussy type.

1. when I went there alone last month (holy week), inns near picnic grove area have cheaper rates compared to the ones in Rotonda. But that was only by a few hundred pesos so I suggest to canvass within Rotonda since youre goin solo and you might get bummed out and feel like meandering at night. Mas madaming food stores na open pa kahit late na, some for 24 hours.

Even the spas within the vicinity, as I was told, are open till 1-2AM. What's your budget ba? Meron kasi as low as 600, peak rate pa nun for an overnight stay for a standard room with basic amenities.

2.  Either a PUV or tricycle ply the even roads of Tagaytay, it'll be cheaper if you take the jeep of course. Although there are areas more readily accessible via trike kasi wala naman yata silang fixed route. Typical trike fare is about 20-30pesos for an equivalent P8-10 peso jeepney trip. I highly suggest to backread the thread, it's so helpful. That's how I came up with my itinerary, im no foodie eh so the itinerary will depend on what makes you tick.

3. I wasnt able to check Calaruega (sayang!), the gridlock brought about by the throngs of lenten vacationers dissuaded me from enduring a probable 3-4hour travel time when it'd normally be just an hour away from Rotonda. You can commission a trike to take you there. Guesstimate is 150 lang siguro, back and forth na coz yun nasakyan ko quoted it at 200 (peak rate) hintayin nya na din daw ako. Try to cut a fair(to you) deal with 'em na lang, anyway I assume there are lesser tourists by this time

went to tagaytay last june 3 and 4 and stayed at 5R (1,200 for a room) dapat sa Keni Po kami magsstay kaso wala nang vacant. Naghotel hopping din kami  (friday) before check-in in 5R and i like theodore, my partner like country suites, summit ridge and we both like in estancia    my partner and i had dinner at gerry's grill then went to starbucks beside summit ridge. we stop by at rowena's (new building across gasoline station) to buy mango and buko tart. lamig nun friday night dahil din siguro sa umambon nun afternoon. dapat magswiswimming kami sa pool ng 5R kaso nagkatamaran na. we ate breakfast (sat morning) at chowking (rotonda), trip namin ng tapsilog. then we had coffee and cheesecake at bag of beans lapit din sa rotonda, i think yun ang second branch ng b.o. beans..kasi bago pa lang yun post ng We Are Open. We both ube jam at good shepherd and pineapples for pasalubong. Super enjoy kami kahit biglaan lang yun lakad. Iba talaga kapag kasama ang loved ones

I know who manages Rosemont Gardens in Tagaytay and it has reached her notice na some other person is marketing Rosemont Gardens without coordinating/consulting with them. From Sulit I think, as tagaytay vacation house/rental... a prospective bride they already had to decline saw the ad and fortunately informed them (kasi in the ad, they were saying free yung Rosemont)
