Tagaytay (Thread 7)

sis pls. suggest itenerary for overnight stay in tagaytay? may kasama kami 2 and a half yr old na bata we will be staying in keni po rooms in their villa this coming long holiday weekend, kaso wala pa ako maisip na itenerary for an overnight stay, kasama namin parents ko with my daughter 2 and a half yrs old and my pamngkin age 4 and 2 , with 2 yaya's.

you can go to paradizoo for the animals - there are ponies that are really cute. there's also a 5-legged cow that's pretty interesting. there's also a zipline daw yata there for the grown-ups.
you can also have a picnic at picnic grove then horseback riding. make sure to eat bulalo at leslie's and get some coffee and cakes at bag of beans.

try dropping by caleruega in batulao. its a 30min drive from tagaytay. have a picnic there..sa area ng koi pond. it is relaxing especially for the elderly and theres so much room for the little ones to run around. have fun

sis, add ko lang sa mga namention nila..for restaurants, try Bag of Beans and Hawaiian BBQ or buffet at Taal Vista Hotel..you may also visit Pink Sisters and the monument of Mama Mary near picnic grove..

I suggest Taal Vista or Rodeo Inn for you to stay.  Rodeo Inn has a mini zoo inside so your kids will enjoy the stay.  Taal Vista, however offers horseback riding.

Went to Tagaytay last weekend.. Ang lamiiiiigggg ha! Super. Lalo na nung afternoon, night and the morning after.

It was just an impromptu trip with boyfie.. So we had no reservations. We went to Keni Po, unfortunately, fully-booked sila so we stayed at 5R instead. May swimming pool and garden na din pala sila! Pero freezing ha! Super!

We then spent the afternoon at Picnic Grove.. Ang daming tao. Ang haba ng pila sa zipline. We just trolled and enjoyed the view.. And then we bought a couple shirt for Php380/pair. Cute enough.

Ang mga jeep dito, always punuan. Kaloka! haha!

Had our pre-anniversary dinner at RSM. Ang sarap ng food! Hanggang ngayon, di ko makalimutan. We ordered kalderetang kambing plus adobong pusit and then their free bulalo soup. Yummy so much! ganda pa ng view and ang sarap ng hangin. Yun nga lang, madami silang customers din that night.

After that, balik na sa 5r and rest, di na nga kami nag-aircon sa sobrang lamig! Sarap mag-cuddle..

can anyone recommend a decent or reputable apartelle/inn? it looks like i might have a few time to kill for a day trip since I dont fancy staying at and exploring different dining spots. the mere sight of food already makes me feel sated

I now get why a lot of people flock to Tagaytay. Sobrang relaxing. Stayed there for 2d/1n. Ang sarap. Kain lang nang kain nyaha.

I'll avoid the crowds at picnic grove though. Dun ang init. Dami tao masyado. If it weren't for the short zipline (heh), 'di kami nagpunta dun.

any budget accommodation that you guys can recommend? as in tutulugan lang naman kasi most of the time we'll be driving about and eating out sa tagaytay so basically just some place cheap to sleep in.

Hi Sis! Ilan kayo pupunta? if mga 4 up pwede nyo pong i-try yung Tagaytay Country Hotel. Malapit lang sa Rotonda. Then if pauwe ng manila dun mismo dumadaan mga buses. Try nyo po. We spent our Christmas there. =)
