The most expensive toy i've bought for my daughter so far i her little tikes car. But i found it reasonably-priced at 4k+ kasi i availed a deal grocer voucher.

Ang mahal for me is lagpas 10k, like this kidkraft doll house i saw sa rustans. If i buy from amazon, mas mura na siya than sa rustans. Mahal oa din kasi a few thousand pa din but more reasonable na for me.

sa baby boy ko, pinaka-expensive na nabili namin is the playground set na with swing, slide plus basketball ring from rustan's, almost 10k pero di sya gaano sulit kasi bihira magamit...next is the car na pwede nyang sakyan, parang more or less 7k ata ang price, this one is sulit naman kasi every night magsasabi yun ng "drive car"

We rarely buy toys for Zoe kase ang dami pa nyang toys na unopened that were given to her nung Xmas and birthday nya. The most expensive thing we bought siguro is her Baby Alive doll and bike. Naisip ko tuloy, mas malakas ako gumastos sa kanya when it comes to clothes, shoes, and other accessories  More than toys kase, I prefer buying books for her.

I just bought bright starts bounce a bout exersaucer at podium, 7k. Ayoko sana kaso mahilig ng tumayo si baby.  Dapat ako na lang mag guguide sa kanya to walk pero naisip ko, sige na nga, i will buy it hinde para matuto syang maglakad kundi para may libangan sya while trying to stand up. Hehe. Nakalimutan ko na preemie nga pala ang baby ko, kaya ayun, at almost 5 months, hinde pa nya abot ang floor. Hehe. Kaya nilalagyan ko na lang ng throw pillow.

hi has anyone bought the fisherprice puppy pal plush toy? how do you clean it? instructions kasi is just to wipe with a damp cloth but its plush eh pano yung drools ni baby dun? hindi naman pwede i machine wash possible kaya ipa dry cleaning? thanks!!!

The most expensive toy that we bought for our baby boy is the Leap Frog Animal Adventure Learning Table. It's around 2.5k to 3k. I forgot na eh. He really liked it. Yun lang yata ang expensive toy na nabili namin. Ayoko kasi gumastos ng malaki on toys.

I saw a Kidkraft Savannah Dollhouse at True Value ATC around 2010, discounted to P7,000.00++ only.  My daughter was almost 1 year old then so I didn't buy it but I have been secretly longing for a wooden dollhouse since I was a kid.  I guess I am influenced by that "desire" in choosing the toys to buy for my daughter.  Most of the wooden dollhouses I've seen are really expensive (Voila brand) - P5,000.00 and up for me is expensive.  I saw a Barbie dollhouse (made of plastic lang) with 3 levels being sold for about P12,000.00!!! What?!?

About expensive toys

We bougth the 'expensive' toys like Barbie Popstar and Barbie Fairytopia (for me expensive would be within the P1,500.00-P2,000.00 price range since I am kuripot) only for very special occasions (Christmas 2012 and her potty reward).  The other 'expensive' toy would be Fisher Price Little People Marketplace with Mom SUV and extra characters which was actually a steal for only P1,800.00 (given for Christmas 2011).

I don't like receiving the Toy Kingdom catalogue na, my daughter is starting to point to different toys (Barbie or Disney Princesses) which are not value for money - meaning expensive and mostly of inferior quality.  Oh the TV commercials too (Nickelodeon and Disney Channel), the kids are getting all these ideas para magpabili ng kung ano-anong toys!

^^ hi weng! 7,000 for a kidkraft dollhouse is ok na ha but that was 2010 pa so back then, mahal na don yon. hehe. the ones in rustans are way overpriced. i got a badger basket dollhouse na lang for about $60. this is ok na for now.

the most expensive toy my daughter has now would be her kidkraft kitchen that we gave her last christmas. i got it discounted using a coupon code, $75 na lang but plus shipping to PH pa.

not really a toy but i think i spent way too much on her table and chairs, got them from ELC for P6,000+.

Hindi ko maalala lahat ng mga toys nya pero next na siguro yung Chicco Goodnight Stars at 2k. Next week, we will buy him a bike at 2.5k so made-dethrone na si Chicco.

I stopped buying lights & sounds na toys kasi pansin ko, halos pare-pareho lang naman sila. Actually, I stopped buying toys na talaga hindi tulad nung wala pa syang 1 year, every week bumibili ako ng Vtech, Fisher Price, Leap Frog, etc. Sa dami kasi hindi naman nya nalalaro lahat.

Yung ipad mini naman e bigay lang ng Kuya ko sa kanya. Yan ang favorite nya.

Nothing above 100 USD for us, which is reasonable naman,most kids' toys don't go above and beyond.nagbi-build up lang ang price kapag collection, like right now,we are into Littlest Pet Shop's Walkables,minimum is $7 each (more if the rare ones),we've got a dozen na.My girl's only 2, hindi pa talaga age appropriate  but I never let her play w/o supervision naman. We used it to stuff her Easter eggs last Easter . For toy ride-ons,toy house/kitchen I buy Step 2 para for sure pag nakalakihan na pwede ipasa/ibenta.

When I buy toys I buy ahead and store them in the house until we need a "gift" for our daughter. Sinasamantala ko sale prices lalo sa Amazon.Most toys din ni baby dun ko binibili. My latest buy is a toy dinosaur na robotic.There's a "full"version which retails for $600 but the "junior"or toddler version is less than $40 (price is not stable in Amazon for this particular dinosaur). Considering we have at least 4 occasions to celebrate in our household-her birthday,Easter,Eid el Fitr and Christmas,it relly pays to buy in advance. My little girl is not into cute baby dolls that much;she is one of those who like dinosaurs that's why I got her the dino-robot.Expensive is a relative term, it really is up to the spending capacity os the parents eh.

Me and hubby have made an agreement that no matter how expensive a toy is,it's worth it (even is if it's beyond 100 bucks) kasi play is essential to a kid's development. Not to offend anybody but we don't find an Ipad as a toy to be played with.

^ I get what you mean with the Ipad. Not offended naman. May nabasa rin akong article tungkol dito recently. I think sometimes it's how you let your child use it. Kami we never let our child use the Ipad alone. He's too young to operate it on his own anyway. We use it for his nursery rhymes kaya nakiki-sing & dance kami ng Daddy nya.

Most expensive prolly is the Little Tikes kitchen set that we got for her last christmas. Pero mura pa din at 4k kase we ordered it online, sa malls mga 6k plus yata, I'm not sure lang. We were supposed to get her a rechargeable car pero we decided to hold it off cus napaka-short ng attention span nya with toys and we dont want na pagsabayin yung kitchen set and car tapos yung isa hinde na mapapansin. Actually, hinde na nga nya masyado pinapansin yung kitchen nya now.

Kaso ang difference walang gaanong nag-gift sa kanya kasi wala naman kami family dito sa Aussie.Pag may nag-gi-gift sa kanya usually clothes.Pag binuksan lahat sabay sabay, the tendency makakasawaan agad talaga.Yung kitchen niya baliktad naman, when we first bought it (Eid el Fitr, her dad's "christmas") nun,dedma lang muna kasi maliit pa siya nun at 1 year old.SAbi ni hubby bakit daw napaka-aga naman, kako she'll grow into it,and that's what happened. After nun, table and chairs naman from step 2 and shopping cart (all are in pink), ngayon nalalaro na niya properly.Yung ride on hindi gaano nilalaro-Step 2 giraffe. same here, I spend mostly on clothes (but at discounted rates!);books hindi na kasi may library card na siya eh
