I swear I'm already turning into a crazy cat lady. I just adopted a lot of cats (most are feral / strays). I can't help it... I really have a soft spot for cats. I'd love to adopt a dog too but I already have too many cats.
These are my adopted cats: (all are strictly indoor)
1. Heisuke - found him at 2 months old in a church 2 years ago
2. Soujirou - found him at 2.5 months old wailing under the hood of the car parked next to ours at UP Diliman a year ago
3. Mariko - found her at 8 months old in a church a year ago
4. Yukito - adopted him and paid for an adoption fee just this summer; been incarcerated in a vet clinic since he was born; estimated at around 2-3 years old already
5. Okyaku - neighborhood cat; been visiting our house and feeding him outside since 3 years ago. I recently decided to take him in; still no idea how old
6. Tomomi - Okyaku's wife; still no idea how old; first seen a year ago but is very aggressive and frightful of humans; recently gave birth to 4 kittens indoors before her scheduled spay.
7. Mikage - their daughter at currently 4-5 months old
8. [Dichi] - Tomomi's second litter; have no name yet
9. [Ahia] - Tomomi's second litter; have no name yet
10. [Shoti] - Tomomi's second litter; have no name yet
Add to that my first cat, a male Ragdoll, Tokiya. He's already turning 4 this October.
As for my dogs, I have Kurashige who's turning 9 years old this October. He's mixed Belgian Malinois given away by a friend in HS. Then Ruu, a toy poodle, who we bought at the same time as Tokiya so they have almost the same birthday.
I am already running out of cash because of them but the love, happiness, and fulfillment that I am getting from them (they cured me of my depression and suicidal ideas) is nothing money can ever buy.
