^Just read your entry about your stay. It made me excited I think this place is just right for us. A plus for me is the kitchenette, then as confirmed by the reservation staff, they won't charge us corkage fee pa. There will be three of us, sneak in yung isa since she has work on the 24th and 25th. Parang sa Christmas eve lang talaga namin siya makakasama. Sana makalusot. Haha.

Greenstone is just in Makati din lang, 'no? Enjoy your stay!

What you can say about thunderbird resort? sino na nakastay dun TBR rizal.

^nag stay kami sa Thunderbird Rizal few years ago. I think that was in 2008 pa. Very clean ang rooms nila and maganda ang ambiance. Yun nga lang, wala masyadong activities. Casino lang. Ang ok lang kasi doon ay malapit sa manila. Hindi long drive. But again, wala masyado magagawa except casino and swimming lang sa pool.

since it's mostly for casino goers, halos walang tao sa pool at sa buong hotel. hehe lahat sila naka casino lang. di gaya ng ibang hotel, laging blockbuster ang pool. hehe

I was given kasi ng Member a Day card, it states dun na :
"Certificate that entitles the bearer to dine in any restaurant of the Peninsula Manila on a complimentary basis (food only) on the condition that he/she is dining with or at least one other person and at least one other meal is purchased"

- ask ko lang how much yung average price ng mga food dun? para we know yung budget namin pag punta dun. Parang Buy 1 take 1 yung mangyayari, tama ba?

are there hotels in makati/ortigas/QC area offer a day tour or yung may kasamang lunch buffet and use of swimming pool? around 20 pax din kasi kami.

hi guys.... anniversary treat namin ng hubby ko last jan 28th is we spent time together lang and stayed in a hotel. we did what just we want to do around the room like watching movies, sleep, relax out of work, eat, we even took our laptop with us na kami lang talaga 2...so "TAMBAY" lang kami as in.... nagtake out kami ng fave food namin at pinasok namin sa hotel hahaha then late ko na nabasa sa rules nila na bawal pala haha. food is good though a bit pricey....buffet breakfast is masarap pero kung magbabayad ka to eat mahal siya for me 249 pesos ata per head...

we stayed in new horizon hotel along boni ave in EDSA... sa labas dimo aakalaing maganda at di mukang 3 star hotel ito because of the busy street of EDSA pero sa loob my parking and the resto is quite classy though not so big...we took the luxury room with buffet breakfast 3200/night online...our room is clean, well lighted, and newly renovated rooms nila pala like condotype na, washroom with tub, shower hot/cold/complete toiletries, dryer, flatscreen TV, minibar with ref, bed is comfy to sleep, my sofa papala for visitors you'll have...too big iyong room for us two kulang nalang magtumbling ako sa kakalakad at usisa of what they room have for hehe

hi sis! i attended a wedding here & we stayed at one room with friends.. we got reprimanded 2x  during our stay because we were too loud daw. we were just  8 persons & we were just talking.. no sounds from the tv / radio.. inom at kwento lang na normal.. the rooms i guess are not sound proof because we can hear the shower from the other room.. the rooms need renovations to make it sound proof, tsaka madami atang expats dito.. we stayed pa in business floor because they had the suites..

^^ aww.. so casino lang pala duon pansin ko nga wala masyadong activity aside sa may swimming pool pero yung spa ba nila open? meron kasi kami napuntahan dati wala naman spa sa loob ng hotel pero sa TBR ba meron talaga? thanks!

Actually I just stayed at mandarin oriental last weekend and I found it ok Lang. I stayed at their club room and you are correct sis, it really needs renovation. Medyo luma na rooms nila and the cr also Medyo luma na Rin itsura.  The only thing I enjoyed in their room is the bed. Malmbot sya and lumulubog ako sa bed which is very comfortable.  Hehe

We also ate at paseo UNO and ok din naman. Although the food at spirals is much better

Mga sis, any of you na nakatry na mag-ask for corporate rates? Mas mura na ba sya comparing to their promos online? Kasi I tried to check on some 3 stars hotel and asked for their corporate rates, infairness mas mura nga compare to online bookings.

^ i always use our corporate rate when booking at oakwood pero syempre that means you have to be the
employee of the company to use it.

My family (hubby, me, baby) had a staycation in F1 Western Hotel in Taguig. I got it as a promo from deal Grocer. I like the experience kasi maganda naman yun room. Spacious but cozy. Mababait staff at best of all isang parking lot lang pagitan nya sa BHS. The deal I got for 4,200 also comes with buffet breakfast for 2.

I am also at F1 now. Nice rooms nga. Haven't tried their food though. Hope masarap ang buffet breakfast nila.

New World makati ( bad duty manager, ojt housekeeping, bad ac- we moved 3x, food not impressive)
elevator and door service are smilingly courteous though. They compensated their mismanagement by giving one 300peso voucher and bananas?!!
