OT:   Hindi rin maganda ang naexperience ko sa Manila Penn in getting their card.  At that time kasi, I was kinda confused on which card to buy- Edsa Shang or Manila Pen.  But since nilait  ni Lee Madrigal ang service ng Shangrila, hindi na ako tumuloy and said, No.  And then I chose Shang.      If one is selling, dapat magaling talaga mag-upsell, hindi yong manlait pa ng iba just to close a sale.

When he called again, he tried to convince me ulit pero sabi ko, nakabili na ako ng card sa Edsa Shang.    And I was so surprised when he mentioned, "Maam wala po name niyo sa system nila.  I asked blah blah Program Manager of Club Gourmet, wala po kayo".     may ganon?  pagkatapos niyang laitin, may kilala pala siyang PM.  Ayaw pa niya maniwala, hay. 

Anyway, last week another sales consultant called from Intercontinental Hotel and offered their card membership.  Okay naman ang mga sinabi niya, just like any other hotel discounts may 50% off dine for 2.  What I like most is pwedeng gamitin ang vouchers even sa blackout dates, and I also wanted to try InterCon.

recently nagbook ako for my friend ng deluxe room sa berjaya nasa 2800/night 2 double bed siya kasya na ang 4 adults dun try mo google sis berjaya makati

^ sis try BSA tower tapat mismo ng greenbelt, condotel to, they have studio, 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom units. I've tried their studio and 1 bedroom unit okay naman. Maluwag and may kitchenette, its a plus kung long staying kayo makakapagluto kayo ng sarili nyong food. The best din ang location dahil tapat nga ng greenbelt, as in pagbaba mo ng building tatawid ka lang ng kalsada. 2,500 yung studio nila including breakfast. Yung 2 bedroom units naman nila nasa 4,+++ with breakfast na din.

thanks mga sis. i'm now looking at Berjaya and BSA. at berjaya, all rooms are max 2 kids but they allow an extra bed siguro for succeeding guests? at BSA naman max 2 kids also per room.

^ sis sabi lang nila yon pero they also allow kasi pede din naman magdagdag ng extra bed for 900 per night. And malaki yung room, yung 1 bedroom unit is parang 700 sq ft, maluwag talaga okay na okay kung madami kayo, and by the way kung may kasama kayo na 2 yr old and below hindi kasama sa bilang yon

hi girls, first time to contribute in this thread...
browsing it cause my sofitel card will be expired in a few months.

would like to share lang, i bought the sofitel card cause we were going to hk and i read that we could use the free room in other countries, including the ones in hk.

i chose the novotel in nathan road.

and it worked! the room did not come with breakfast though, but since i had the card, 2 for 1 [textspeak!] price, so we had breakfast na din there.
the room was good, and the price is around 12k so very sulit na the card.

the card also came with a voucher that let me treat my family, we were 12 and we paid 50% off.

just wanted to share.

I like to staying in a hotel during my weekend and my stay at Oakwood was awesome. This was late last year. I only paid 8,000-something for a one bedroom unit, 3D/ 2N. They were on a buy one, take one promo that time thus the good rate. I hope they offer another promo like that soon.me thus the good rate.

^I super enjoyed my stay in Oakwood as well! I was able to book the 3 bedroom suite for only p12,500, inclusive of breakfast for 6 people! Got it from dealgrocer. Also booked the 2 bedroom suite for my groom's family during our wedding preparations. We were all so impressed with the rooms and the size! Everything was huge! More than enough space for our big families and all our suppliers I really had a grand time in Oakwood Their 3 bedroom suite is my top room next to the Imperial Suite in Sofitel Philippine Plaza

where did u book sis? sa website b nila? im getting 3,168.75 when i did mock booking for their studio type room. thank u!

Tip ko lang sis, its a condotel the rooms vary from suite to suite, ask to see the room when you arrive to make sure you are getting what you ask for and insist on getting satisfaction. Pag di mo type yung room papalitan mo.

In Cebu, I like Shangri-la Mactan and Imperial Palace. Kids will probably find the latter more enjoyable because of the waterslides.
