very satisfied being Pencard holder:) Used it the last time hubby went home. ^Yeah pero paano yung reservation mismo? I checked kasi yesterday pero hindi ako nagpa-reserve. If you gave someone else's the link, makakapag-reserve ba sila with the discounted price without the membership number nung card?

Kumuha na ako ng membership sa peninsula manila. I tried to book directly with the hotel, yung quote nila versus getting/using 3 peninsula cards is still lower.  you're actually paying for the benefits, only a little bit discounted.  if you will not frequent the hotel and use the other certificates, baka di sulit.  pero kame masusulit naman namin talaga kase magagamit namin sa wedding ni b-i-l.

Anong hotel ang okay na malapit sa airport na hindi masyadong mahal? bonus na ang may free transfer. kasi i just need aplace to stay for the night, sayang naman if i stay somewhere expensive

try Mabuhay Manor Hotel....dati nung may stop over ako jan sana kami mag stay pero gusto ng mga kids sa makati so we end up staying there.

sis, okay lang tumaba ng konti pag magbuffet, pero dapat ma-lose din yong lbs na nagain mo.       spent 4 days sa shang a week ago, kaya talagang bloated, so diet na lang ako ulit.

because of the reviews of our sisses here, i became interested in availing a pen card. so i made a little research on how to get one and i stumbled upon this review:

for the pen card holders, did you get the same experience or hindi naman. baka kasi confused lang si ate...hehe.

^actually, pwedeng  totoo yung sinasabi nya.  before i got the cards, i already reserved rooms directly to manila pen.  they gave me lower rates compared to using the membership and its privileges.  the vouchers in the membership like the free dinner buffet, wine, cake, etc , you actually paid for them.  example:  when i inquired directly to peninsula reservations, the superior room is 5000++,  if you get the pen card its 8500 - one night free superior room, dinner buffet at escolta, free wine, cake plus other discounts to spa, gym etc.  the deluxe room rate for pen card members is also the same (or maybe cheaper) for nonmembers esp if you book 2 consecutive nights directly at peninsula reservations.

^^ Nabasa ko yang blog na yan before ako nag-avail ng membership last year. But I still went ahead with it. No regrets. Tuwing nagpapabook ako sa kanila, I ask kung magkano rate pag gagamitin ko yung card and pag hindi. Mas mura ng konti yung pag gagamitin ang card. Pero hindi naman kasi ako choosy kung Ayala or Makati Tower. Kaya siguro di naman ako nagkaproblem.

mga sisses! im having too much trouble when i attempted to booked our family's December getaway.  Supposedly in Tagaytay, since i have backread good deal sa philippine hotels reservations noticed na pinaka-cheapest naman talaga sya sa market kaya i booked our suppposed stay there. 

kaso after paying online, the next day a representative of the said agency called and informed me na hindi daw pumayag yung desired hotel sa price posted on their site, hahanap nalang daw sila ng ibang hotel with the same published rate so, sabi ko pano yun nasend ko na bayad ko via credit card payment, ang sabi sa akin ng representative hindi daw magkakaproblema dahil ivo-void daw nila transaction since hindi naman nagpush-through yung transaction.  kampante naman ako. so, i decided to cancel the booking with them. 

ang problema ngayon, nagulat ako at posted sa credit card ko yung amount ng supposed room sa hotel booking ko with them, then according sa philippine hotels reservations irerefund nalang daw sa akin yung money na sinisingil ng credit card kasi na-post daw ng accounting nila.  it's been 3 weeks wala parin yung refund from them, according naman sa credit card company, need ko daw magfile ng letter of dispute at need ko daw humingi ng letter or email from the company involved na wala talagang goods or services rendered/acquired para maging void talaga wherein 45 days ang processing.  Ayaw ako padalhan ng philippine hotels reservations ng confirmation email na wala talagang service rendered/acquired, magrerefund naman na daw sila. nakailang email na ako sa kanila at  everytime tumatawag ako sa customer service nila ngayon, irate na yung representative whenever they hear my name kasi nagfa-follow up na naman ako ng refund ko.. =( sad naman....

haven't experienced this with vouchers, agoda and other sites.  sana isolated case lang eto. =(
