Hi! an annual membership usually comes with ONE overnight stay that you can use for a year, but not all hotels offer this. Dati yata walang free night ang shangri-la membership eh...sabi lang ng tita ko...i'm not sure. Para sulit sis, get an annual membership from a hotel that offers free overnight May iba namang hotels (like in Subic) that offers two free nights naman. Basta sis depende sa terms nung hotel

Sis summer_princess, my dad has the Manila Pen membership. Hindi niya masyado nagamit. Hindi din kasi kami madalas dun pero nung nakita ko yung mga freebies, sulit na sulit!

Sis smm_0411, Sofitel malapit sa MOA but if you're going to stay in Sofitel may fireworks din sila Fireworks, band, etc... Last year si Nina yung nag-perform.

Sis daveigh, we stayed 2 years ago sa Dusit during new year. Maganda yung room na binigay sa amin. Super spacious compared to Sofitel plus ang sarap ng free breakfast nila. Plus sa amin yung walking distance sa mga malls

My dad loves collecting hotel membership cards. So far he has three: Manila Pen, Sofitel and Marriot. Yung first two ang may free one night stay. I only have 2 membership: Sofitel and Marriot. First week of August, I availed of the free overnight stay sa Sofitel. I was offered an upgrade. Ginrab ko na since free breakfast, amenities, wifi, etc... plus late checkout at 5pm. Then second week of August, my dad gave me naman his free overnight stay at Manila Pen. Maganda din room dun pero maliit lang. Yung sa Marriot naman puro discounts lang. Like may $85 voucher for a room. Walang free night

Tinawagan pala ako ng Dusit the other day offering me membership. Almost P8,000 yung membership fee pero buy 1 take 1 daw siya so may supplementary tapos kung ano yung privileges sa principal, ganun din sa supplement so may free one night stay din siya.

^Try calling Oakwood mismo and ask for the price ng Superior Suite nila. Kung malaki price difference, sulit na yun

Finally availed of peninsula membership. I got the welcome kit says that membership is by referral only, is this even true?

^ We availed of the membership last year. Wala naman akong naaalala na by referral only ang membership. Although we get freebies pag nagrefer.

mga sis, how do you avail this memberships, esp. at Sofitel? do you just go there and buy it or kailangan naka check in ka muna sa hotel before they can let you avail one?  and how much yong sa Sofitel?  TIA

^Call mo mismo yung hotel and ask mo about their membership. They will transfer you to their sales agent.

Sa Philippine Plaza to sis (now SOFITEL). We have availed of this room before, way back 2004 ata. May adjoining room sya na parang sala and bar lang tapos yung hello kitty room yung pinaka bedroom mo. As in lahat ng gamit Hello kitty. Im just not sure if meron pa rin sya hanggang ngayon na Sofitel na sya ha.

For me, the deal in dealgrocer is not a good deal.
BEfore kase we stayed here, March ata yun and ang ganda ng offer nila. Yung 1BR nasa 6K nett lang with breakfast for two and free room upgrade pa. So for me, if may offer ang Oakwood ng gantong price, I hope maka pag offer din ang deal grocer ng mas lower compared sa offer nila ngayon.

hope anybody could post feedback re: dusit vs sofitel stay..sa agoda.com kasi may difference around 1k din ang sofitel from dusit. i just dont know if worth it i-save un by booking dusit or baka [textspeak!] di kalayuan ang quality kung mapapamahal with sofitel . planning to stay for 2 nights on sept with hubby...

^Parehong maganda yung hotel na yan. I stayed in Sofitel several times na while sa Dusit once palang. Kung i-compare ko yung rooms, mas maganda sa Dusit while sa buffet naman mas gusto ko ang Sofitel. Mas ok din sa Dusit mag-stay kasi accessible sa malls and unless may car ka sa Sofitel, MOA ang pinaka-malapit na mall.
