i was looking at oakwood through agoda-nyek, bakit ganun, they won't show me the rates. laging 'di applicable yung dates na binigay ko kahit wala namang naka-mark dun sa calendar. i tried november, december, january, march and july- wala talaga. or di na affiliated oakwood with agoda? i thought about checking sometime in september pero ang OA naman kung fully booked sila all through the last months of '11.

^ haha yep. natuwa ako sa reviews eh. at sa jacuzzi. sige check ko asiatravel. thanks. though mas gusto ko pa din makati area talaga. baka mag-dusit na lang kami pag walang promo oakwood.

ok, i checked na. at the moment, oakwood's studio executive is P6k/night with buffet breakfast for 1 person. that's the only type that's readily available. the one BR is per request.

^ Maganda din studio type nila pero konting difference lang in price, one bedroom na. Malaki difference in terms of size of entire unit. Super sulit yung one BR so yun na kunin nyo.

^ thanks. yep 1k difference. but per request yung 1 br eh, is that ok? medyo matagal pa naman, no hurry to book.

yung sa agoda, everyday, bumababa ng $2 yung rooms. considering the location and price, medyo leaning na ako tuloy sa dusit.

Anyway, bago na terms ng Golden Circle ng Shangri-la Hotels. Members earn points na everytime they avail of Shang's services (stay, dine, spa, etc.). These points may be used to get free upgrades, room nights, perks, and so on. You can even convert these to Miles.

Sana nung January pa nila naisip yan kasi sayang points. Naka-4 na stay ako sa Shang hotels this year. Sayang lang talaga.

wala bang hidden charges pa na di naisama pag sa asiatravel? kc sabi nman nung nakausap ko dun nung tumawag ako, me special agreement cla with the hotel kaya lower rates sila.

^^dun kami nagstay nung umuwi kami sa Manila recently. One bedroom suite lang ang kinuha ko, pero buong pamilya ko dun natutulog for 4 days LOL! hindi naman strict (in our case) kaya saya-saya namin. all the kids (and adults) were able to swim, sleep and dine dun sa room namin, dun kami nagluluto. super convenient talaga and super sulit. siguro sis, huwag na lang kayo sabay-sabay papasok. and also, ipamigay mo na yung room number para hindi na magtanong sa reception yung friends niyo, so para hindi na halata.

^speaking of, through asiatravel ko pina-book yung astoria. walang hidden charges, 3K/night lang pero regular rate nila is 5200/night. super laki ng natipid

3100 pag foreigner/balikbayan rate, 3800 pag local ata sa asiatravel. pag sinabi ko ba na balikbayan ako e hahanapan pa ako ng passport o proof na kakauwi ko ng pinas?

summer28, bale 8 adults kami lahat then 3 kids (oh diba nagkasya kami sa 1 BR suite, lol). sabi nung friend kong nagrefer sa akin sa Astoria, mas malaki ang living room ng 2BR unit. Mas ok siguro kung 2BR kayo, para hindi masyado masikip, especially kung puro adults.

3100 na? nung time kasi namin 3K lang. not sure kung papano nila iveverify na balikbayan yung nagbook. Hindi naman kami hiningan ng passport or anything sa front desk.

Originally kasi, 3d 2n lang book ko nung nandito pa ako sa SG. then nung andun na ako sa Astoria, nagextend lang ako ng 1 day thru asiatravel pa din. Same rate, wala naman tanong-tanong.

Wala naman additional charges sis. When we check in at hotels, we usually book thru asiatravel kase nga mas mababa rates nila.
