lol. what makes me beautiful?

- my 'natural' white flawless skin
- my chinky eyes
- my long lashes
- my red lips
- the way i dress up neatly
- smelling good all the time
- and most importantly, being fun and spontaneous

anyway to answer the question:

i never thought of myself as beautiful. kasi beautiful is like, yung highest level. hahaha. and konti lang ang asa level ko ng beautiful.  nahihiya nga ako pag sinasabihan ako ng maganda eh. hahaha! i shy away from compliments. laging pabiro na "wala pa akong pera panlibre sayo" ang sagot ko. 

pero naalala ko dati, sa may hospital caf, may tinawag si ate na ganda then sagot naman ako. hahaha! (duh eh lagi kasi ganda tawag niya sa akin, just as she does everyone else. chos!) yung katabi ko pala.  at well, maganda siya, i think, in the chinese way.

I have to say that my standards are quite high when it comes to beauty because I've been working in the beauty/fashion industry for years. Maybe it affected the way I view myself as well. I don't think seeing yourself in a very realistic way is bad, nor is it a sign of insecurity. It's just the way things are, IMO. I'm quite happy the way I am.

1. People always say na I have beautiful eyes. Ewan ko pero naniwala na ko dito kasi one time during high school nung pinadala ako sa Baguio to represent our school, one of the teachers na kasama namin sa cottage (na taga-ibang school and a total stranger to me) told me na ang ganda-ganda raw ng eyes ko, na kung magkakaanak sya gusto nya katulad sa akin yung eyes.

2. Another thing na I think makes me beautiful is my intelligence. Kaya lang underappreciated ako lagi sa bahay kasi my parents rarely recognize my achievements.

3. My guy friends and other friends told me na simple lang daw ako pero maganda. One of my suitors even told me na di ako chick material pero na-attract pa rin daw sya sa akin. Siguro nga simplicity is the best accessory after all.

4. Pero most of all, what makes me really beautiful is my heart. Cliche man pero I think that's what makes people beautiful--their heart. Basta happy ka lang lagi. Smile lang lagi. Lahat ng babae maganda. May kanya-kanyang beauty lang.
