I have been taking contraceptive pills for a year until now,, eto ang concern ko

I have already consumed 21 white/yellow tablets and have taken the 2 brown tablets, pero na miss ko yung 3rd brown tablet nung trust pills.. then bumili ako ng bagong pack kinabukasan.. (buti nlng at hindi naman hiningan ng reseta nung bumili yung hubby ko) after that nagstart na akong uminom nung white/yellow tab dun sa bagong pack na pinabili ko... its been already about a week pero hindi parin ako nagkakaroon... bket ganon?? O_O

tanong lang... safe pa ba na magcontact ni hubby? or antayin ko muna na magkaroon ako? hihinto ko ba yung pag inom nung white/yellow na pills?

sis,you siad one year ka nag nagpi-pills TRUST din ba?...
what I do kase if I missed a pill dinidisregard ko na yun,example if I miss the second brown pill,the next day yun pa din ang iinumin ko,(2nd brown pill)or if naalala ko iinumin ko pa din sya and continue taking the next pill...
since I'm a pill user for a year now na din,I'm confident naman na effective pa din ang pills in my body...

continue mo sis,since wala naman free pill ang trust..pwede naman mag-contact ni hubby siguro double protection nlang(Withdrawal,condom)para sure na din and if worried ka mare...

Thanks sis, big help talaga.. buti na lang at na google ko to... kasi ngayon lang kasi nangyare toh... na parang antagal na eh wala pa din ako... hindi kaya naka affect yung bigla kong pag inom nung bagong pack before pa dumating yung mens ko... hindi kaya na overlap niya yun?

(kung ano ano na nga yung naiisip ko eh... kala ko buntis na ako O_O^^^)

pwede din na nabigla ang body mo since dapat ay nasa brown tablet ka na biglang bumalik ka sa yellow...

I'm planning to have a vacation in PH for 3 weeks... and its been 2 yrs na di kmi nagkikita ng bf ko... lam nyo naman for sure meron 'do un..ask ko lang sana kasi i'm so clueless about pills and it would be my first time if ever. kelan sya sisimulan itake and kelan ieend un paginom?magtake effect nb yon on the same day na iinumin sya and mag 'do or atleast a night before?thanks so much

sis,atleast two weeks before you go home it's advisable to take pills,kase may 7 dyas after you take the first pill it requires you pa ng 7-day protection!...

Hi girls, i'm new here too.

Well, I was only browsing the net about side effects of contraceptive pills and it led me to this discussion.   

I learned that some had been using the same pills that I took before. Nagulat ako kasi I had the same effect na SUPER GAiN ako ng weight with TRUST pills which I thought hindi normal.

After I gave birth on Jan 2010, I went to a nearest health center to seek help for avoiding another pregnancy and then they gave me a prescription with "Ethinyl Estradiol". Kaso nung sa drugstore ko na un binili they gave me the trust pill na nga, yung PINK ang carton. Ok naman siya, continuous ang use ko nun as per instrructions. I was so active before I took the pills mga sis and biglang-bigla my libido CHANGED talaga! And isa pa nun, there were times na bigla na lang din akong nadedepress. Akala ko naloloka na nga ako. But that was one of the side effects pala nun. Super antukin and pakiramdam ko lagi akong gutom. Para nga siyang naging vitamins ko eh. Kaso, I got worried when suddenly naubusan ng stock yung botika namen dito with the pink one. so I tried the yellow one, alam ko yun yung LADY trust pills. kala ko me pagbabago, ganun pa rin ang effect sa kin so tinuluy-tuloy ko gamitin until last OCTOBER.

Maganda naman talaga siya sa totoo lang, I often suffer din kasi with dysmenorrhea before pero when I started using it ndi na ko nakakaramdam ng sobrang pananakit ng puson pag my period ako. And nagregularize din yung cycle ko. Kasi nadedelay din ako minsan ng almost one month.

But when I stopped using it eto yung WORST scenario, I didn't get pregnant actually, but I haven't had my period up to now. My last contact was on September and my last period was last October. I got really worried when Janaury 2012 came and still no signs of PMS, so I took a pregnancy test, which resulted to NEGATIVE! and after din nun ng-pacheck up na ko and here's what the doctor had told me,

You are NOT pregnant, taking those pills will actually regulate your cycle and ONCE you stopped using it, MASISIRA talaga ang regla mo. There's nothing you can do but to wait for your period again.

Yun lang ang SIDE EFFECT na ayoko talaga. hehe! Nakaka-paranoid ehh. LOLS! On that check up too ko lang din nalaman na "HIRAP ako magbuntis" nagkataon lang daw siguro na fertile ako with my first baby.

I also had a friend who took the same pills, she actually had CONTINUOUS BLEEDING for a MONTH! So she quit on it. Meron din akong friend na super MILD ng effect sa kanya. kasi even if mag-stop siya magtake, CONTINUOUS naman din ang menstruation niya.

I took TRUST pills (pink one) for a few months pero super pangit ng effect sakit,though no gain weight...I'm super sensitive,migraine,regular naman ang period ko eversince so wala akong problem about that...
I decide to try another pills kahit di ako nagpa-check up,I tried Lady pill ngayon ko lang nalaman na TRUST din pala yun hehe....
Maganda ang effect saken,No headache,sensitive feeling and the like,,,

talagang hiyangan ang pills mare,sa lahat naman ng gamot eh ganon,...Each body is different from the other kaya iba ang reaction....

Dati withdrawal kmi kaso nabuo [textspeak!] anak nmin hehe. so, ask ko lang anung kulay ng pill n dapat q bilhin? kc npansin ko sa mga msg nyo may mga kulay saka its my 1st to take pills. Saka may drug store ba na hndi hnhanapan ng reseta? per piece ba ang pagbili ang trust pill? o may per pack, pag meron magkano at ilang pieces un?

sis, it is fine if you missed the brown tablets sa trust pill kase it contains iron lang.  kaya if you'll notice na you'll have your period within that 7 days taking the brown tablets kay tuloy lang.  after the last brown tablet start a new pack.  Kaya it's fine if you miss the brown tablets basta make sure that you will start new pack after 7 days na nagtake ka ng last yellow tablets kase yun lang ang may contraceptive elements(estrogen & progestogen). 

Pero if you missed 1 yellow take the missed tablet and the tablet for that day, pero if you missed 2 tablets that's the time na start ka ng new pack.

ang reason why hindi ka nagmonthly period is because you started the new pack so nag new cycle ka na.  You need to wait for the last yellow tablet, then take the brown within that time you'll have your period.  if hindi pa rin consult your OB na.

^sis kimmycee, if 3 mo ka na delayed, i suggest you consult your OB kase medyo delicate na ang mga ganyang instances dahil prone na tayo for cancer cell.

May mga instruction sa kit.  Normally you'll start the 1st tablet on 1st day of menstration or any day of choice.  (Not sure) At least a week of taking pills to make sure you're protected, if less, need additional protection. 

For the side effect, case to case basis.  Some mild lang, mood swings, headache, tumataba, pumapayat...pero just make sure that you consult your OB kapag matagal ka na take for laboratory exams.

im using althea pills..my 21 active pills of my first pack is over and i started taking my first pill of my second pack a day after taking the 21st pilss of my 1st pack.... is this okey?
