When we stayed there wala rin lamok -- sa bedroom. Pero meron sa resto nila, when we had our breakfast at around 6:30 am, malamok.

^ kami po kasi sa 1st floor naka check-in. madami kasi silang plants tapos parang may fishpond pa. anyway, kung babalik ako, bou savy pa rin ako magsstay.

Hi! I noticed that you guys are mostly posting your itineraries...I just like to know how much would it cost to do a Vietnam-Cambodia trip? Airfare and a decent enough hotel would do...with that I meant somewhere I can sleep and leave my belongings safely. Would a 4-Day tour be enough already for the 2 countries? (Actually, ang hinahabol ko lang is yung tatak sa passport).

^depends on how early you book your flight or if you get a promo fare. kami kasi we booked our tickets less than a month before our travel so napamahal kami..ticket pa lang namin nasa 25k na yata.
parang bitin yung 4 days for both countries but since sabi mo habol mo is tatak lang sa passport pwede na siguro less lang sa pasyal...bus ka ba or plane? hcmc to pp is 6hrs and hcmc to sr is 12hrs so take that in consideration din.

we did HCMC in a day. bali madaling araw na cebpac flight kami. then sa morning Cu Chi Tour then City Tour/Shopping after. Dinner + bar naman sa gabi. (we paid 2 nights sa guesthouse @ 20usd/night/room for a twin/double room)

Day 2 morning we left for Phnom Penh via bus. 6 hrs ang travel time iirc, 12 usd ang pamasahe. tapos bisita sa genocide museum and killing fields if your into that kind of things (ako kase oo

). nag rent kami ng car for 4 of us for this tour, 35usd yata yun bayad namin (plus tip sa mabait na driver). stayed ulit a night sa guesthouse 25usd/night/room for a twin/double room.

Day 3 morning we left PP for SR via bus ulit, 12usd yata ulit pamasahe. 6 hrs travel time ulit. 20 usd for a day pass sa angkor w.at complex. nakalimutan ko na how much bayad sa tuktuk for the tour. that pass can be used for sunset viewing. we stayed for 2 nights sa guesthouse 18usd yata/night/room for a twin room.

Day 4 angkor [textspeak!] tour. Angkor W.at complex nagsasara yata @ 7 PM. Hindi ako familiar what time ang flight ng SR - Mla and travel time to SR airport. hehe

re: night bus. meron naman nag ooffer smen na night bus during our stay there, pero mas gusto namin day trip kase may nababasa ako before na medyo delikado yata ang travel by night.

how did you get to the genocide museum and killing fields? may tour guide kayo? pano kung solo traveler lang?

sa Day 3, around 2 PM kami dumating SR and by 4PM we hired a tuktuk to bring us sa Angkor W.at complex to buy our 1-day pass. 5 PM yata open yun ticket booths. That pass will then be used for the whole day next day (Day 4) Pero pede na din sya gamitin sa Day 3 (yun ang ginawa namin)

Day 3 Phnom Bakheng for the sunset view. nag elephant ride nga pala kami (20 usd/person) papunta dun sa phnom bakheng temple, pataas kase yun. pero pede naman din lakarin, gusto lang talaga i try nun kasama ko elephant ride hehe

Then night ng Day 3, nag avail kami ng buffet dinner with show (apsara dance). hindi naman namin masyado na appreciate yun show, pero marami food (10usd via bou savy guesthouse minus drinks, sabi mas mahal daw if sa resto mismo nagbayad, 12usd ang singil. kaya book via your guesthouse if ever)

Then after dinner, night market. Beer after

sa Phnom Penh, nag hire kami ng car, driver lang kasama dun sa car tour guide kaw na kukuha sa museum/killing fields. kumuha kami sa genocide museum ng guide. 10usd (+ tips kase mabait yun guide ulit, mababait tao dun) yata ang bayad. siguro hanap ka ng makakasama para sa bayad sa tour guide marami naman tourists dun. since 4 na kami, ok na kami dun sa price nun tour guide. sa killing fields meron sila for rent na headsets, kaya lang wala na available na english nun dumating kami, kaya wala kami guide. pero since na tackle din naman nun tour guide sa museum yun killing fields, may idea na kami about it.

for the trip, medyo malayo yun killing fields sa city, kaya I would prefer to rent a car, yun driver din suggested this place with Khmer food (Khmer Saravan Resto, iirc) for dinner. konting lakad lang din sya from the guesthouse along the river (na parang nasa Roxas Blvd ka lang hehe). We loved the food!

napagtanto din namin na kung Vespa marami sa HCMC, Lexus naman ang pambansang kotse sa Cambodia hehe

^ marami sa vietnam district 1, tabi tabi sila dun. sa cambodia we didn't had the chance to try yun bars dun lang kami sa guesthouse nag try ng angkor beer, pero sa may night market, i think meron naman din bars, just a tuktuk ride away from bou savy.

my friend booked manila to HCM earlier. By reading this thread, nawala na ako ng pag-asa na magagawa namin ang vietnam-cambodia for 4 days. Wala pala plane from vietnam to cambodia? haay.
