^kasi naman nakaka sunog talaga ng skin yung araw nila by 9-10 am na, and what more pag noon! kaya sobrang swerte napabili kami ng hats during day 1 for the temple walking. it also helps to bring a very sheer shawl, kahit yung shoulders ang sakit ng tama ng araw pag mid-day. dala ng tissue/smal towel lagi dahil sobrang mainit talaga. Winter pa raw tong time na to!

meron po bang website ang mekong express so i can check the schedule? wala po bang overnight bus from HCM to SR and vice versa?

mga 12-13 hours via bus yung hm -> siem reap, parang di ko kaya yun so what we did last year was HCM -> phnom penh (around 6hours) tapos stay kami dun 2 nights then nxt day phnom penh -> siem reap (another 6hours or so). phnom penh is beautiful also. cried buckets when we visited s21. =(

hi guys, im going to hcm and sr in june with my sister and 2 friends, okay lang ba our IT as follows:

 June 6 - arrive HCM, city tour, cu chi tour?, water puppet show and shopping at night
June 7 - travel to SR, arrive at night, gimik in sr?
June 8 - Angkor [textspeak!], city tour
June 9 - travel back to HCM and a little bit shopping
June 10 - 1:00 am check in to travel back to Manila

june 6- water puppet and city tour, ok...yung cu chi sis, 1 hour kasi ang byahe diyan..what time ba ang dating niyo sa hcm? mas ok kung maaga, para kahit sa hapon maisingit niyo yung cu chi...kasi kung late kayo makakarating sa saigon, baka, city tour lang ang magagawa niyo...and i guess yung water puppet na rin...although may gumagawa ng cu chi, na yung tipong paalis na sila ng vietnam, kasi parang sabihin na natin mag-allot ka ng 2 hrs for cu chi...

june 7-12 hrs ang travel to SR from saigon. gimik at night? kung hinde pa kayo pagod...pwede why not? nung pumunta kami ng SR, dumating kami ng medyo late na pero since open naman ang night market, dun kami pumunta, nagtingin-tingin lang...maraming foreigners ang nagna-night market...kaya masaya...:-)

june 8-yes one day ang angkor visit...dapat maaga ka, para mas maraming mapuntahan. bring extra hand towel, umbrella and ofcourse water...mainit kasi dun at ofcourse, wear comfortable shoes...yung city tour within SR, maliit lang kasi yun eh...so kahit mga around night na kayo mag city tour...sayang naman kasi kung di niyo makita yung paglubog ng araw sa angkor...maganda daw...kasi kami nun, di na namin binalikan...napagod eh...LOL

^thanks also sis, we're arriving early morning of June 6 kaya we decied to start walking around 9:00 am...

I am here in New Zealand and I travel at least once a month domestic (around NZ or Australia) and once or twice a year internationally.

I'm going home sa Pinas in May 26 - June 18, 3 days in Singapore on my way to Manila (can't miss Great Sing Sale), 5 days HCM-SR and the rest Pinas.

yup sis, earthquake was in South island and im in north island, although there are at least 9 pinoy nurses missing + more than 300 other nationalities (sorry OT)

hi im going to vietnam sa august 18 12am ang dating namin sa vietnam, tpos ang alis nmin  august 21 ng 1am, gusto namin ng friend ko pumunta sa angkor kaya lang prang d kaya ang 3 days lang, hnggang anong oras  ang byahe ng bus papuntang siem reap?

^ sis, why don't you concentrate on hcmc first? if pupunta kayo sa sr, wala na kayong time for hcmc. bus hcmc to sr is 6 or 6:30am.

Sobrang init sa Siem Reap!  Favorite temple ko Bayon and Banteay Srei.     Nakakapagod nga lang ang 12-13 hour trip from Saigon to SR.    Hindi na kami nanood ng Apsara dance, ayaw ng mga kapatid ko - pinambili na lang namin ng t-shirt.  Nasayangan lang ako, kasi talo ako ng majority, sila lahat ayaw manood.  I want to come back to Siem Reap - para manood ng Apsara dance!

kami naman di nakapanood ng apsara show kasi natulog ako  4am kasi gising na for 5am call time..ayun nung mga 6pm pagkadating ng hotel sabi ko kay hubby nap lang ako ng 30 minutes..pero di na ako nakabangon...hehe..buti na lang di nagalit si hubby although napikon daw sya na paulit ulit akong ginising pero di ako tumatayo..bumangon ang beauty ko 1am na..  sayang ang oppurtunity!

ok lang naman daw yung show, pero sabi ng mga kasama namin na nanood nito, di nila gusto yung food, sayang daw yung $10 na binayad nila...eh kami kasi di kami sumama,kasi nagtitipid kami...:-)

^you're flying in to SR na sis? and flying out of hanoi right? how will you get to hanoi from HCMC ba by bus/train/plane? kasi bus/train eats up a lot of time.
kami we flew in and out of HCMC. laki ng oras na sayang. sharing na lang din our IT.

1pm (or 1:30) bus leaves for PP
arrived PP past 7pm
hotel check-in, went to the night market, had dinner and konting inom
day 2
AM to 2pm tour PP (bitin!)
2pm bus departs for SR
we arrived sooo late..aside sa nasiraan yung bus (saglit lang naman) eh napakabagal pa! as in soooobrang bagal magdrive ng driver na yun.

^Thanks so much sis! Yup will fly to SR na. About Hanoi, we will fly from HCMC to Hanoi. Then Hanoi to or KUL or HCMC again whichever is cheaper to Manila. Whew!
