Anyone who has an idea regarding vietnam/cambodia tour for 3 days/2 nights or 4days/3mights tour?

I also need suggestion for where to stay and iteneraries.

sis riandrew ask ko lang nung day 2 mo, 9pm arrival sa siam reap where did you buy your pass for angkor [textspeak!] for day 3? i'm thinking of doing the same IT din kasi. Thanks!

^ yung tuktuk driver mo, 1st thing na gagawin nya ay dalhin ka sa ticket booth, have your photo taken, and get your day pass.

btw, at first I thought of visiting the Angkor complex upon my arrival (afteroon yung una kong balak). pero my tourguide suggested na doble gastos pa yun sa tuktuk at day pass kung magvivisit din ako the next day. so there, ginawa ko siyang 1 full day nalang.

Sis riandrew: Where did you watch the Water Puppet show in Saigon? My friend and I are doing a Vietnam Cambodia tour also. We wanted to check out the water puppet pero we thought it's only in Hanoi. Saan ka nanoood and is it worth it?

just came back from our vietnam-cambodia tour...

we went to vietnam via PAL, mga 2 hrs ang trip, then nung dumating, we went around the city (distric 1) then the ff day, around the city ulit plus chinatown, the ff day, punta kami cambodia via bus (12 hrs) pero ok naman ang biyahe kasi yung sinakyan namin na mekong bus limousine, may binibigay na food. ang windang lang di kami sinundo ng hotel namin sa terminal, kaya parang kinuyog kami ng mga tuktok drivers, pero ok lang kasi sumabay na kami sa mga kasama namin na isang pinoy family na on tour din...

one day tour lang kami sa angkor [textspeak!], then nung hapon eh nagikot kami around the city. the ff day, bus ride again going back to vietnam

pagdating ng vietnam, nag-cuchi kami...then back to manila the ff day...

I am doing this again, after doing a 5-day trip across Vietnam and Cambodia November of 2008.  Super excited because I am armed with experience na, so I can go see the places I missed the last time.   Stuff mentioned here would be very helpful.  Couldn't wait to go back and do more shopping (which I wasn't able to do the last time, kasi super dikit dikit nung trip namin).

^ If I may.   I budgeted about US $100/day super di na tipid and I still didn't use up all my funds during the trip.  All in na yun ha (including accommodations, food, shopping, transpo).

The Mekong Bus limo from Ho Chi Minh to Phnom Penh is about 600 pesos thereabouts.  May be a little less than double for the straight trip to Siem Reap.

This travel sounds good for me, if i ever got hold of the promo tickets from cebupac or PAL if they ever fly good again.

for the 2 countries (vietnam-cambodia), and for 7 days, kasama na lahat ng hotel and accomodations,bus rides back and forth to vietnam and cambodia and yung mga entrances fees sa cu chi and sa angkor [textspeak!], 14k plus, PAL accomodation pa kami niyan ha? mura lang naman kasi sa vietnam and cambodia sis...ang dala ko lang ngang pocket money is 5k lang...di naman kasi kami mahilig mag-shopping, more on lakad-lakad kami and then punta sa mga historical sites ng both countries. mura lang din ang mga pagkain nila...

we booked sa PAL around june yata, tapos ang alis eh october. although mas makakamura ka sa mga CEBU Pac kaso ang ayaw ko sa cebu pac eh madaling araw darating yung mga flights, alanganing oras kasi...so hinabol nalang namin yung PAL na mga promo nila..:-)

yup sis, kung di pa phil passport holder, you have to pay for a visa...i forgot lang kung how much yun...

just wanted to ask.. would it be a good idea to tour phnom pehn din? kasi nakakapagod yung HCMC to SR straight. I was thinking... HCMC > PP > SR.

mas ok ba we go straight to Siem Reap na? Or okay naman na PP muna overnight then SR na the next day.
