Party Host and entertainment suggestions please (for 2nd Birthday celebration)

as much as i want a partyhost/magician for my niece, i can't afford it! too pricey! mas mahal pa sa photobooth.. hehe..

depende naman sa kukunin mo sis. Kung yung mga tinatawag nila na Class A magician, mahal talaga nasa P12k pataas. Yung sa akin naman around P4k lang. Meron pa nga nasa 2k plus lang. The host is the life of the party talaga. Kahit walang magic basta lively ang host, creative sa games, enjoy mga bata. If may relative ka naman na skilled in party hosting for kids, okay na yun.

My son who is 7 years old attended a 6th birthday few weeks ago. Walang host, walang games, walang program at all, sanay yung son ko sa ganun yung tipong may mga games. Pero walang problema sa food, madami talaga. But he ended up being bored kasi nga wala silang ginagawa. Kanya kanyang laro lang sila ng toys nung celebrant. So nagyaya agad umuwi.

sa BnF meron atang P1800. Tapos yung P2500 may bubble show na. Sa smart parenting forum ko nababasa mga reviews. Hindi ko pa naman sila nakukuha though pero mukhang okay naman reviews sa SP forum

Hi mga sis! Sa mga naka-experience na mag-book ng entertainers, paano ba yung process? The party planner I'm talking to said she'll email the service agreement to me. Usually included ba dun kung ilan at anong games/magic tricks/etc. ang ifa-facilitate, or should these be decided on before the service agreement is signed? Sorry, first time kong mag-book ng magician/host so di ko alam kung pano yung usual. Thanks!

@purplepop, maraming bad feedback akong nabasa around 2-3 years ago dito about Pocholo.   Kesyo, magca-cancel a few days before the event due to an "emergency" yun pala nakakuha lang ng better offer.  Better think twice before you get him.

We celebrated my son's 1st birthday party 2 weeks ago.  I got Wacky, very few comments about him here.  But moms, he is very good.  Sinugal ko nalang with 2-3 excellent comments, naisip ko game, i-go ko na siya. It was a short notice (30-day) when I informed him.  He responded, and the transaction went smoothly.  He has 30mins games and another 30mins magic tricks, balloon twisting and puppet show.  The variety of his performance did not create a dull moment.  When it comes to diction and spontaneity, I'd rate him 10.  Not only he speaks well, but he got this wit that most of my adult guests love.  Not a chatterbox and very organized.  Sa kids, he can gather them all.

hello mga sis,
help naman! may baby's 1st birthday will be this May!  Actually, birthday ko din and Mother's day pa!
problem is, parang nauumay na ako magprepare for the party.  kulang na nga sa panahon, parang na-umay pa ako! sa sobrang kakatingin ko ng mga pictures at siguro na-overwhelm na ako sa mga dapat gawin/ prepare, kaya parang natatamad na ako.  plus the fact na gastos nanaman eto.  though may panggastos naman, parang nakaka panghinayang parin. like sana pang enroll ko nalang kay baby sa Gymboree or swimming lesson while 1year old palang sya, etc etc.  hayz.

anyway, may feedback ba kayo sis sa Party R Us?  ang hirap makahanap ng review about it kasi di mag-run ang search dahil may 1letter word ang name nya, tapos very common naman if i will just search for "Party", "Party Us" !  pa -share naman po ng feedback.  medyo ok ang price nya, affordable, kaya lang, di ko alam how well they host, how good/ fresh looking ang mga clowns, etc.

We got Len Peralta for my daughter's party last Sunday. Ayun super sulit ang kuha ko sa kanya kasi covered nya lahat - hosting, magic tricks, balloon twisting and puppet show. nagdala pa sya ng freebies sakin. and she helped me sa balloon burst ko. she is indeed very nice. tagal namin nagchikahan.

during and after the party, i got comments from my guests na magaling daw ang host and kung saan ko daw ba nakuha. sabi ko sa internet forum haha..
