not really sis. kasi mom ko she gave birth to me wala siya stretchmarks pagdating sa pangalawa namin nagkaron siya. depende sa skin mo talaga

^ funny sis pero usually yung mga ahead na generation satin wala pinroblema ganyan. wala din yung mga lola ko to think madami sila anak. pati yung iba tita ko. even my friend's moms wala din sila. ang weird nga pagdating satin lumabas yan stretchmark issue. what i would suggest sis ngayon palang maglagay ka na ng lotion sa tummy area para by the time you get preggy ready na sakin mo to stretch. it will somehow prevent kasi mas magkakaron ng elastic powers balat mo. =)

Naku mga mommies, I have an answer: diamond peel.

I gave birth last 2008. Imagine, I am only 5 feet tall, slim then ang baby ko 8.8 lbs. My tummy was so stretched. Wala ako kahit isang stretchies before getting pregnant. Kala ko lusot na sa pagkakaron not until my 8th month. Nagkaron ilalim ng tummy ko, those huge reddish/brownish ones, then sa butt area and sa hita. Parang ugat. I was so depressed talaga. Since malaki ang baby ko, I delivered her through C-section. Then before mag 3 months after giving birth, I visited a derma in Medical City kasi nagka-rashes ako. I asked her na rin ng recommendation for my stretchies. Grabe, hold-up. I was so depressed kasi parang there is no guarantee talaga na maaalis then ang mahal pa. E after giving birth, di pa afford ang 3k+ worth of cream so di ako natuloy dun.

Then dito ko din sa GT nakita recommendations for Dra. Martires for diamond peel. Gusto ko sana mas malinis na face ko before returning to work. I went there and since magpapa-diamond peel ako I asked her kung ano ang pwedeng gawin sa stretchies. She checked it and sabi nya we can try diamond peel din. After the first session, super laki ng change. Isang lotion lang na ilalagay after bath then nagpeel talaga and it lightened up. Naka-three sessions lang ako, totally gone na ang stretchies sa tummy at naging back to normal color na din. After giving birth kasi naging kulay dark brown. Yun sa hita ko nga lang, meron pa. Mas mahirap daw yun maalis kasi yung white na malalalim yun.

That time (2008), 800 per session kay Dra. Baka nag-increase na ngayon. Tagal ko na di naka-visit kasi busy na.

So mommies, I highly recommend it. Try nyo and if in one session, you saw positive results then ituloy. If not, then don't. Not sure if bawal magmention ng name ng derma here but I just want to share my positive experience. You may backread the stretchmark thread here in GT and you'll see those posts back then. Di na nga lang ako updated kung ano ang meron now.

I really understand the depressing feeling pag makikita ang tummy. Lahat ng Palmer's na products nagamit ko pero it did not prevent nor cure my stretchies. I really felt good and happy after.

Syempre walang pagsisisi for getting stretchies due to pregnancy coz my husband and I prayed really hard to have a baby. Pero if there is an easy and inexpensive way to have it removed, why not di ba?

i also wonder why yung lola ko, mom ko and even my titas walang stretchmarks considering naka-ilang anak sila, epecially the lolas. noong 7 months preggy ako, wala akong strechmark, so tuwa naman ako and naniwala ako na wala sa genes namin ang stretchmarks. naku, pagdating ng 8 months bumulaga na. now, after more than a year, nag-e-even-out naman ang color kahit na i dont apply creams religiously. but i am also thinking of diamond peel. pag-iipunan ko muna

shelski: sis thanks for sharing ive heard of dr. martires dito sa GT marami nga maganda feedback from her kaso ang layo ng location niya sakin. ill put diamond peel into consideration for stretchmark removal. i have in mind is dermarolling. out na ang TCA peel dahil nga ayoko ng idea na chemical peel o sinusunog yung balat. masakit kasi.

^that time kasi na 800/session kay dra. martires, worth a try naman. try mo din sa ibang derma near you, baka may gumagawa din. it is all worth it talaga. kasi iba yung feeling of confidence lalo na skin yan, something external.

better if it was done early on after giving birth, mas mataas ang chances na maalis.

^ mas madali nga ang removal sis ng stretchmarks pag fresh pa. minsan nga naisip ko umpisahan ko na ngayon. kung mag opt naman ako sa diamond peel kasi safe naman kahit pregnant kasi its just a machine na ni-rurun sa skin. i still have a couple of diamond peel treatments sa slimmers world. ill use it nalang for my stretchmarks kesa sa face. =) thanks sis ha. =)
