^^meron din sa T3 pero depende sa location sa terminal. Pag bandang dulo wala ka ng signal na makuha. Sa Tagbilaran airport ang bilis ng wifi. Madalas si mommy nakiki-internet sa waiting area sa labas habang nag-aantay sa amin.

On a different note, I am happy to learn of the news that my former boss is now the MIAA chief. I believe he is the perfect person for the job with 30+ years airport/airline operations experience. Hopefully he can do something with all the kalokohans there.

Ladies, just a heads up. If you're leaving in the following days, allow extra time to go to the airports. Traffic leading to the departure area is so bad because of the extra strict security checks after the bombing incident in Davao. A lot of inconvenience for travelers but better safe than sorry.

while the extra security checks are ongoing, I would suggest be early pa rin maski alanganin oras yung flight mo. Better be early and wait at the airport than late na naghahabol ka sa flight.

Required ba talaga ang proof of id/birth certificate for children below two pag domestic flight? When my baby was 10 months old, I forgot to bring it with me, ang sabi lang next time dalin daw. Now she's one year and two months, wala sakin yung paper, and it's kind of an urgent flight. TIA!

sis budhwhiz, yes you need birth certificate or id. Last month trip namin, nakalimutan ko dalhin id ng 5 yr old daughter ko and wala akong dalang birth certificate. Nakiusap lang talaga ako sa check in counter, buti pinayagan. Airasia flight to Cebu. Ganun din pauwi wala pa rin kami id and nakiusap na lang rin ulit ako. Para walang inconvenience lagi dapat meron dalang birth certificate if walang id.

@Mama Squeak i heard you have to allot 4 hours leeway daw That's so inconvenient. I am thinking about doing web check in para mabawasan. I know it's for our own good but ... Dagdag mo pa ang traffic papunta sa airport. Halos half day na. And then madedelay pa ang flight mo.

^siguro allot around 30-45 minutes at the security check mismo leading to the airport. Medyo naayos na yung system ng security checks so it's not as bad as the first few days. But still just be ready for a long wait especially during peak departure times.

Mga sis, may idea ba kayo kung magbabayad pa ba ang senior citizen ng airport tax or exempted na sila?

^Matagal ng integrated sa ticket ang airport tax/terminal fee kaya wala ng babayaran sa airport.

Ouch ganun ba last year kasi may binayaran akong 200 sa airport.

May question pa ako. Puede bang mag request ng assistance para sa senior citizen sa loob ng airport para hindi na sya mapagod maglakad ihatid hanggang sa boarding gate possible ba yun? TIA.

^^Yup, you can request a wheelchair. I suggest you pre-arrange it when you book their tickets para meron ng naka-reserve minsan kasi nagkakaubusan din. That's what we always do when we buy tickets for my Dad who has COPD.

So sa information ba sa airport magre-request ng wheelchair mga sis? 2 connecting flight pa kasi kaya need talaga ng assistance, sa bawat airport kung saan may connecting flight mag rere-quest ba ulit dun kasi mahaba haba ang lalakarin. Possible ba yung paglabas mo ng airplane may wheelchair ng sasalubong sa senior citizen. Kasi pag maglalakad pa para makarating sa loon ng airport parang ang hirap nun. Pasensya na sa noob question. Now lang kasi ako mag travel kasama ang seniors. TIA.

^anong airline yung flight nya? Pwede mong itawag sa reservations nila para malagay sa booking nya na wheelchair passenger sya. Automatic na yun mag-appear sa record nya once mag-check in sya para ma-assist sya all the way.

Kung sa airport sa mismong check in counter mo ire-request. Kanya-kanyang wheelchair ang mga airlines.
