Question din about Clark Airport, my flight will be arriving at 2pm. Wala na bus schedules for the afternoon going to Manila according to the dmia website. Better na magpunta na lang sa DAU terminal?

^ sis, for sure me bus pa nyan, 2pm pa lang e. kami nga 1am dumating me bus naman. Sabi nung taga-issue ng ticket, basta me scheduled arrivals daw e me bus sila na malapit sa schedule.. Kung talagang wala pagdating nyo dun, i think DAU terminal na nga next best option nyo.

@bunso: Halos mga kiosk. Sa labas ng terminal may ministop, goto, at hotdog. Sa departure area, may jamaican patties, san miguel food, at mga coffee.

Yung rice meal sa san miguel corned beef at beef stew lang available nung andun kami.

@bluestocking: Sis, try mo website ng philtranco at victory liner. Nakita ko may 4:30pm trip sa philtranco.

re: DMIA - Di ko alam kung tinatamad yung iba magcheck o di sila masyado mahigpit. Nakapagpasok pa kami ng 5 500mL mineral water sa hand carry namin sa departure area, samantalang sa HK pinaiwan yung 1 500mL mineral water ko.

Kung wala gaano dala, mag shuttle nalang ( may shuttle na citylink ata yun ) Mas mura pa. Dumadaan yun ng eastwood ata. Pwede na mag cab sa eastwood kung malapit ka lang doon

sisses, kapag may sinundo ako sa NAIA terminal 1, pwede ba kami mag-yellow taxi? paano? I remember kasi when I went to Thailand via Thai Airways, nung sinundo ako ni hubby e hindi siya makatuloy dun sa line ng yellow cabs. hanggang dun lang siya sa parang barrier ng "greeters". Toxic naman mag-taxi sa area na yun kasi lahat kontrata tapos parang andami pang scammer. worst airport nga talaga tong NAIA 1.

^Wala pa ring access from the greeters area to the upper level arrival area kung saan tumatambay yung mga yellow metered cab.

aww...so papapuntahin ko pa sya sa greeter's area? nakakainis naman ang hassle!

^then papaano kayo mag-yellow taxi? Probably you can ask your passenger to get the yellow cab then meet ka nila along the way paglabas ng airport. There's a KFC at the airport and madadaanan yun palabas. Sabihan lang ng pasahero mo yung taxi dispatcher na pipik-up ka nila dun.

dun sa greeter's area ba, may station ng mga "legal" na taxi? kahit coupon/fixed rate basta yung managed by the airport?

saan yung AVIS counter sa NAIA 1? dun ba yun sa may ABCD etc. na greeter's lounge?

^ ang alam ko sis meron but that was 2 years ago pa when i can't pick hubby up kasi coding kami pauwi. Fixed rate siya depende sa destination. If i remember it right nasa dulo sya bago ng letter "ABC" surnames ng arrival exit.

Question: some relatives from the US said it'll be better daw if you hand ur customs declaration form with some dollars? ??

^ why would you do that? Unless meron ka significant amount of taxable items na hindi ide-declare?

^I honestly have no idea.  Just before daw the officer won't let then pass kung walang tip.

i think its a wrong thing to do but.when faced with an officer who deliberately asks for.money then some will give in to avoid the hassle...though getting the officer's name will be important at this point. however, initiating the tip is like bribery and can pose suspicion on the passengers

^ i agree, sis! Lalong magdududa ang Customs officer if meron nakaipit na money.. Sa totoo lang, they do random check lang naman sa Customs e. pag obvious na me tinatago kang undeclared items, more likely na igi-grill ka pa or papabuksan mga gamit mo..

Sis matetreyes, I meant the "legal" taxis ha, not sure about  avis though.  I don't know ba't ako pinayagan nang guard sa greeter's area. Sabi ko lang sa kanya magtataxi kami ng hubby ko na kakadating lang sabay tinuro ko siya kaya pinayagan niya ako tumawid.  Pedro dun lang talaga kami sa labas.
