^Tickets sold at ticket offices or travel agencies do incorporate the PH travel tax in the tickets for passengers who are required to pay these taxes. But for most e-tickets bought online they are not included kasi not all passengers who buy online are required to pay the PH travel tax. Mas mahirap magrefund ng travel tax than to pay na lang at the travel tax counters.

^Online booking systems could at least give an option whether or not to include fees/taxes. If they could give options for travel insurance and whatnots, why not travel tax and terminal fees?

^As I posted "most" e-tickets, I did not say all because some online booking systems do have the option to incorporate the travel tax in the tickets. Online sites I've tried that incoporate the PH travel tax are KLM, CX and NW or Delta if you choose the country "Philippines" on the drop down menu. Problem lang with this is what if one is not required to pay the travel tax or is entitled to a reduced travel tax. You still end up buying at the ticket office to prove you don't need to pay the PH tax.

As for terminal fees, that's another story altogether. My guess would be there are different terminal fees for different airports all over the Philippines.

hi sissies. ma ask ko lang if it is legal to bring contaceptives from the US here in the philippines? my sister kasi ordered from the husband (who is an american) of my friend. the contraceptive he will be purchasing is called Ortho Options vaginal gel contraceptive. the product is not available here in PH.

mga 5 packs lang daw orderin nya. but the american husband of my friend is so hesitant to bring it here kasi baka ma confiscate lang daw sa mga customs dun sa airport.

anyone here tried brining birth control and passed through the customs without hassle? how about shipping it via airfreight? would it help also? no additional custom fees and charges?

^sis how big are the packs? Hindi ba kayang i-hand carry or itago sa checked-in bags? Kung hindi sya commercial quantity pwede naman na wag nang i-declare sa customs. Most of the time naman di na rin nag-check ang customs kung ang dating ng pasahero tipong walang mako-confiscate or walang mata-tax sa kanya.

I was able to bring in some months' worth for my SIL...did not declare them and wasn't apprehended naman.

hello people! I got the answer already through a phone call from BFAD. they said na hindi daw pwede yung mga contraceptives that are not regulated here in PH without their approval. although you can try mixing it up with the checked-in luggage, if ever they caught you bringing them, you will be detained and have the bfad test it out. that's how hassle it is.

im not sure if foreign lbc outlets will pack it for airfreight. they don't even pack prescription drugs as far as i know. but if you try it via sea, specifically the big balikbayan boxes, im sure you will get through it.

btw, 1 box (i mentioned 'pack') has 10 packets inside. he was supposed to bring 3 or 5 boxes lang... but that changed anyway. we already got an answer. so bottomline, it's really risky.

^sis andami naman pala yan. Hindi mo talaga kayang itago sa check-in or handcarry. Para na syang commercial quantity. And you're right kung padala via balikbayan box makakalusot yan.

nagpapabili ako sa friend ko sa chicago ng 4 oz hcg drops kasi uuwi sya dito sa february. di pa ko umoorder kasi hindi ko alam kung pwede sa airport. maliit na bote lang naman sya, pwede siguro maitago sa check-in baggage? pero base sa posts sa taas, pag not approved by bfad di pwede dalhin dito? hindi ko sure kung approved o hindi yung item eh. sa palagay nyo ba walang magiging problem dun sa item na ipapabili ko?

Just got back from US. When I got home, I found my newly bought tsa lock US To be missing and the zipperpull of my luggage destoryed. Actually, my tita mentioned before na when she got back from a vacation from Singapore, kinuha rin yung tsa lock Nya na binili sa us.  Dahil siguro 1k ang worth dito sa pinas Kaya napagdiskitahan. Also put all your dirty clothes especially panties on top of your pile when packing. Nasa ilalim dpat ang mga pasalubong para pagbukas ng mga taga airport, di na sila mageffort magdig ng makukursunadahan nilang pasalubong. Kasi ang dami sa aking kwneto na binubuksan Nila ang luggages then kumuha soon ng gusto Nila like chocolates,even naka box na iPod kinukuha daw. So don't put it sa ibabaw na madali makita pag binuksan.

Regarding the lost locks, I had an experience during my last trip (though it was a legit one, I guess!) wherein one of my boxes was pierced. It had a 1.5inch hole which I only noticed when I was about to open it here at home. I also found a note inside from the TSA stating that my box was "randomly" checked or what. I'm just glad nothing got lost. I'm just surprised cos it only contained clothes and some stuff I shopped for. Haha. Nothing sinister. I'm just miffed about the hole.

Good for you sis!  At least yours is legit.    Sorry for me kasi walang letter sa loob and TSA yung lock ko.  Oh well, old locks ang gagamitin ko pag pauwi ng pinas and mind you yung hindi TSA, yung eeffortan pa nila buksan talaga and just use my new, expensive locks pag paalis ng pinas or elsewhere.

Tip din pala, para hindi mapagdiskitahan ang new clothes, hide the tags (or remove them) then baligtarin nyo yung damit para mukhang gamit na then place it sa ibabaw to conceal your pasalubongs at para tamarin na sila mag buklat.

as per my knowledge, only cebupac and tiger airways land in changi budget terminal.. All other airlines in changi airport. Note the diff of the two terminals.
