Sa Thailand din, they never  bothered to check kung sa amin ba yung bag namin, pagkakuha namin sa conveyor dire diretso na kami palabas hanggang sumakay ng cab. No one checked, sabi ko nga ke hubby, ano alis na ba tayo? pwede na ba? lol.

Sa NAIA Terminal 3, they don't check. Sa Clark, I think nagchecheck. Dapat nga they always check.

If kaya nyo buhatin luggage nyo, wag nyo na icheck in.

I travelled quite often for the past two years and never ko na-experience dito sa Pinas or in any other airport yang strict checking ng baggage. Yung tipong icocompare talaga na match yung number sa luggage at yung sa copy mo. Kaya nga sa totoo lang, pagbaba ko ng plane minsan madaling madali ako kasi baka me umuna sa akin kunin ang baggage ko.

Last month, sa NAIA ako lumapag. Dumaan lang ako dun sa customs, yung me nothing to declare, kinuha na yung papel then deadma na. Tinanong kung ilang pieces ang dala ko.

Although yung friend ko, pinabuksan yung isang box nya ng custom kasi feeling nung custom officer marami syang dalang laptop.

But the luggage tag and number? Deadma.

Two days ago, sa Terminal 3, sa customs din, kinuha lang ang papel then tinanong kung ilang tao kami.

Ok pala yung METERED TAXI sa Terminal 3. Infairness, I feel safe and nice pa yung driver na napunta sa amin. Super greet pa sa amin ng good morning. Flat rate is 70pesos and 4pesos ang dagdag nya. Mas mahal pero mas ok na din.

^agree, dati di ako sumasakay ng yellow taxi kasi akala ko mahal. one time 11pm na ako nakalapag sa NAIA 3 tapos tagal mapuno ng airport shuttle kasi kaaalis lang nong nauna. 12am na di pa rin napupuno kaya sabi sa kin ng airport staff yellow taxi na lang ako tutal 70 lang naman flat rate. tsaka maganda don kasi di sila namimili ng pasahero & di nangongontrata. usually 100 lang patak ng metro hanggang sa haus, pero sa yellow taxi 150. ok na rin, hindi na masama kasi sa ganong oras walang taxi na maghahatid sa kin kasi takot silang maholdap. hehe

chinecheck pa ba sa domestic airport un id? kasi mga sis may kukunin ako na yaya from iloilo to manila via zest airways kaso hndi na daw pwede eh naikuha kona ng ticket meron pwede kaso sympre iba na yun name ,,, sa tingin nyo ba mga sis ichecheck pa yun id ?. ..............

Yup, they check the ID sa airport, kahit domestic flight lang. Call the airline, pa-change mo nalang yung name sa ticket.

i guess sa pinas lang nga may nagchecheck ng luggage before you leave the airport

nakakatakot kasi gawin sa ibang bansa yung kumuha ng ibang luggage
siguro iniisip nila dito sa pinas pedeng gawin kasi pedeng malusutan if mahuli

Dont use TSA lock sa luggage nyo for domestic travel by PAL. MY daughter and her BF"s respective locks were stolen from their checked in baggages on different occasions.

Ang liquids ba at cream ay parehas?

I'm planning to bring hair waxing creams abroad. Yung malapot talaga ha and not the typical cream na malabnaw. Ang plan ko ilagay sya sa hand carry ko kasi nga mabigat yun para less sa timbang ng bagahe ko. I'm worried baka maconfiscate, sayang naman. Sa liquid kasi 100ml lang ang allowed.

^Para madali tandaan just remember the acronym: LAG

L   for liquid
A   for aerosol
G   for gels (can be considered as cream too)

All of the above should be in containers not more than 100ml. each if they will be placed in handcarried bags. Total quantity/bottles should fit in a one liter resealable plastic bag.

I went to Cebu last week and both airports (Mactan and NAIA) checked our luggage claim stubs.

Siguro meron nag heads up sa kanila about this thread. Lol!

Travel Tax is P1620 and Terminal Fee is P750.

Is it the same for kids? If I remem correctly last 2008 mas mura yung Travel Tax for my Kids. Mga P1010. (can't remem for terminal fee)

Is it the same now? Sa mga nagtravel lately with kids?

^You have to get a Reduced Travel Tax certificate (RTT) in order to avail of the reduced travel tax for your kids. You can get this at the travel tax counter at the airport. Just show your kids' passport.

Terminal fee is the same for both adults and children (02-12yo).

re: checking baggages, never ko pa din naranasan yung super strict check ng hand-carry. pinaka-strict is sa LAX na naranasan ko na there's a chance na mabuksan bagahe mo. Their concern though is the checked-in talaga. yung minamatch tags and everythang, sa naia. but yung handcarry, nope, bahala ka talaga sa buhay mo lagi. Maganda dun alert ka talaga. If anything, kung may nakawan mang maganap, yung airport employees ang posibleng magnakaw, not other passengers.
