^sis wag ka ma-stress mas makakasama yan. At least nalaman mo agad. Ako din I thought normal yun paninigas ng tyan ko hanggang sa na-confine ako.
At least na detect agad, sakin it cost a lot parang nanganak nadin ako s laki ng gastos.
Just take care of yourself from now on. And bawas nadin sa kilos

Just like other mommies here, I'm prone to preterm birth as well. My pregnancy (this is my 5th) is already considered high risk because I'm already over 35 but thank God we're surviving. :) Nag-start yung cramps and spotting ko during my first trimester, I found out na placenta previa pala ako and during my 17th week, I had my cerclage kasi nag-open na agad yung cervix ko then after few weeks, nag-break nman yung water bag ko. I even stayed in the hospital for about a month and naka-trendelenburg position about for a week but I'm home now, still on strict bed rest (higa all day, no bathroom privileges) until my delivery. I'm on my 26th week by the way, and I'm having a baby boy. :)

Anyway, sundin nyo lang yung mga OB nyo sissies and keep yourself away from negative thoughts and people. Kaya natin to. :) Take care and God bless everyone! I will include you and your babies in my prayers. :)

I've taking this meds during my 1st trimester and it's really safe, no side effects on baby. This is only to protect your baby from threatened pre term labor or to stop contractions.

is it what your ob has told you sis? :) if it is accdg to your ob then it is safe.. :)

i was on my 35th week when i had preterm labor, my ob prescribed isoxilan but i was advised to take it everyday, not only when there is contraction.. im not sure though in your case.. :)

nakainom din ko isoxilan tabs. pero when i reached my 20 weeks with another episode of preterm labor.
pinag utrogestan ako 200mg soft gel cap inserted sa V at bedtime. yun na ang pinatuloy tuloy sa kin until 35 weeks then
on follow up. pinatigil na ni OB. simula nun naging ok na.

hala contraction na pala yung paninigas ng tyan?  this past 2 days kasi naninigas ang tyan ko eh.  actually kagabi di ako nkatulog ng maayos bcoz of that.  nkatulog lang ako when i tried to relax, inhale exhale lang.  i have a feeling na dahil dun sa kinain kong pinya.  ok naman na pakiramdam ko now pero i'll ask my OB pa rin sa check up ko bukas.

Sis, as much as possible avoid Pineapple, UNripe papaya, Grapes. :)

The ripe papaya is very good though since this will avoid constipation while preggy. Packed with vitamins too.

ive heard that also, you should avoid pineapple esp during the first tri, but i asked my ob before, he said pineapple is a good source of vit c.. and it's not connected with the contractions..

IT is, but too much of it will cause diarrhea that's why as much as possible to avoid it. Pero ripe papaya naman is rich in vitamin C.

Thanks sis KagamiChan!  Possible nga na yung pinya ang salarin kasi nun lang ako kumain nun eh. iniiwasan ko talaga ang pinya since first tri.  ngkataon lang medyo constipated ako at walang papaya kaya yun ang binili ko.  Pero may isa pa palang culprit sa paninigas ng tyan ko... yung UTI ko bumalik na naman!  medication ako now for 7 days bcoz of this.  Sana naman after this di na sya bumalik.

Sis, pwede naman hindi. Maybe nagkataon lang you ate it, pero the true culprit pala yung UTI mo which will really promp preterm labor.

I also suggest eating malunggay napaka healthy, plus iwas sakit din ito. :)
