Threatened Preterm/Premature Labor

I experienced this when im on my 26th week.. im currently on my 28th week now..
nagstart sya na masakit yung puson ko paikot sa balakang ko without any spotting, paguwi ko galing office, nagpacheck up ako and my ob advised me to rest for 5 ddays, take duvadilan 3x a day for 3 days then magmaternity girdle..
natagtag lang ako ng sobra sa byahe, from antipolo-eastwood kasi ako at tricycle at jeep lang ang means of transpo at syempre naglalakad pa, kaya ayun..

sis Jessebell, ngayon ko lang nabasa ang thread nato uli. Re your question, I'm pregnant again, 7w4d today. Meron pa rin akong mga spotting, pero brownish na, parang mga pahabol ng period. So thankful at least di na bright red.

^sis serendipity02, gawa ko rin yan na naguundies na fitting, since kasi nanganak na ako, meron pa ako ng mga undies na parang girdle type. Hindi sya sobrang sikip na uncomfortable, but rather parang sinasalo nya ang tummy ko at mas di magalaw.

kakauwi ko lang from the hospital kasi at 17 weeks nagpre term labor nako and that was how i felt parang menstrual cramp when i told my ob agad agad she asked me to go na sa hospital kasi i might have pre term labor daw true enough ayun na nga plus i had brown discharge.

im very careful na ngayon sa pregnancy ko, sa eldest ko kasi, at around 32 or 33rd week ata un, na confine ako due to preterm labor, 2 cm na daw ako, so sa hosp ako for 2 days. did not feel any signs and symptoms, sakto lang talaga na check up ko that day kaya nag-ie si dra ko, gulat sya open na daw. thank god naagapan.

Ask ko lang mga sis pagpremature labor ka sa first baby mo. Pwedi ba maulit yun sa second baby thank u

mga sis madalas matigas tummy ko ilang days na pero wala naman pain and discharge. Next wednesday pa check up ko eh naiisip ko [textspeak!] baka nagdidilate na pala cervix ko di ko pa alam. Preterm labor contractions kya ito kasi kahit anong pwesto tumitigas pa din. 35 goin 36wks na ako sana umabot pa kahit 37wks.

^sis, maybe text or call your OB na baka mag prescribe siya ng isoxilan for u. Or Pwede rin bed rest ka na kasi I know someone na ganyan din tapos bed rest na siya for 3 weeks until mag full term (37 weeks).  I'm also experiencing that every now and then since first week of sept. but when I was confined last week due to GDM, naging mas frequent siya so while I was in the hospital, they are giving me isoxilan na. And then nag-NST sila 3 times. They did detect na I'm really having labor contractions but it seems na ok naman and no threat pero weekly checkup na ko, im still on isoxilan and no physical strenuous activity. I'm almost 30 weeks. 

Sis, watch out ka na Lang for any watery and bloody discharge. If u see any of that, takbo ka agad hospital.

^thanks sis. Binigyan nga ako isoxilan ni ob. Minimize walking daw. Buti na lang hindi bed rest. Kaw sis on bed rest ka pa din ba? 30wks ka na pala. Lapit ka na din.

Im on my 25th week and I had frequent contractions yesterday - every 10 mins. Told my ob about it and she advised to go to the hosp to be checked but I said I will check again if they real contractions. Then she just advised me to be on bed rest and take duvadillan. Thank God contractions stopped this morning. Napagod lang ata ako dahil major walking ako nung weekend bec of shopping.

Hi mga sis new lang ako sa tread nato im 15weeks pregnant with twins..kahapon check up ko and sabi sakin ni oby si baby A daw low lying placenta grade1 pero di naman sha naka dikit sa cervix kung baga malapit lang daw..di naman nya ako in advice na mag bedrest basta no heavy lifting and no contact daw muna which is wala talaga kami ni hubby ng contact takot kase ko since twins babies ko and ivf kami kaya sobrang ingat narin..meron ba sainyo sis na diagnosed ng low lying placenta?how dis it went?nag move up ba or it stays that way?im not worried naman na ma cs kase cs talaga ko im just worried lang since tagal namin tong hinintay..thanks mga sis

Mga sis just want to ask, is the white discharge on the first tri safe? Parang white mens lang, pero paeang napapadalas lang kasi now..  Im on my 12th week. Di pa na che check HB ni baby as of last check up kasi. Next month pa uli check up ko. Appreciate any advice. TIA!

supposedly check up ko lang sa ob ko last week, im on 34 weeks pa lang that time. upon ie, she said na open na cervix ko, 1cm. hindi na niya ako pinauwe, naconfine ako for 2 days. binigyan ako ng pangpakapit and steroids para pang mature ng lungs ni baby.
35 weeks na ako tom, still continuing in taking duvadilan 3x a day and complete bedrest, (as in higa lang tatayo lang pag pu2nta ng cr) hanggang maka 37 weeks.

I think it's normal. Also had that in my 1st tri. But better to check with your ob.

na-experience ko to sa eldest ko. 32wks preggy pa lang ako nun tapos biglang nagkaron ako ng contractions. pagdating namin sa hospital, 3cm dilated na raw. binigyan ako ng pampakalma ng uterus and contraction pero natuloy ang delivery ko. normal delivery naman pero kuya was just 3.96lbs and nasa incubator sya for 3 days.

alala ko before that day, napagod ako sa pag-aayos ng gamit sa bahay kasi bagong lipat kami nun. tsaka stress na rin sa work. buti na lang ok naman si kuya at thankful ako nalagpasan namin yun

21 weeks and 3 days. i had this. sa AGH kaloka ni IE ako sabi nakakapa na daw ni Dra Cayetano yun paa ng baby ko. then, the most dreadful thing she said antayin nalang lumabas and by monday for D & C nako. My husband and I decided to transfer to hospital of choice we went to UDMC. the referral letter includes the diagnosis of inevitable abortion, non septic , non induce. IE: cervix open, ruptured BOW, + Palpated fetal part, foot.  at UDMC, IE done sabi nga may nakakapa sila TVS done ayun polyp pala. ni tocolysis ako agad. baby is doing ok. Complete bed rest ako with no bathroom priviledge. kaloka yun unag OB na nakakita sakin.

hi mga mommies! buti nakita ko din tong thread na to.. im also worried.. this is my 2nd pregnancy, currently on my 36th week. last week ng spotting ako, as in white discharge na may konting blood.. kala ko un na yung sinasabi nila na mucus plug.. sumaa pa kasi ako sa team outing namin sa zambales.. i went to my ob immediately paguwi ko, then ie nya ko, 2cm na daw ako. i was asked na mag bed rest for 2 weeks kasi kelangan umabot ni baby at least 37weeks para full term. plus duvadillan din 3x a day for 7 days.. so far naman ngpahinga ako ng 3 days with continous na gamot. ok na ko. nakakapagwork na ko ulet, pero i already filed my maternity leave starting next week na. katakot kala ko manganganak nako hehe! sana umabot pa ng 2 more weeks para full term si baby

Naconfine din ako last week for 4 days coz of pre term,. Ayun bedrest na daw aio for full term.. e 22weeks prego palang ako..
Ive history of spotting din kasi,. Kakagaling ko lang ng 3months bedrest,. 2 weeks palang ako back to work nagcontract agad uterus ko..

And tuwing pagkagaling ng office, grabe pagod ko kahit wala naman ako masyado ginawa.. ayoko na magbedrest nkakainip sa bahay

Mga sis, I'm on my 22nd week, I had my 4d ultrasound kanina and I'm a bit worried kasi napansin nung ob sono na meron akong contractions or naninigas yung tiyan ko, she said that's not normal. And I should let my ob know about it, my ob prescribed isoxilan 3x a day for 7 days. Naiiyak ako kasi akala ko normal lang or wala lang yung paninigas ng tiyan ko. I am also guilty of not taking care of myself well, yung tipong kumikilos ako ng parang hindi ako preggy. And now I am crying because I felt really guilty of not taking care of myself well, I also have a regular work so pag uwi ko ng house I still have to cook kasi di marunong yung maid ko. I am just praying that the baby will be okay. please pray for us mga sis.
