ngayon naman i have slight fever, me tonsilitis ako... almost 30 mins na akong gising i still cant feel her move

sis, wag ka basta basta iinom ng gamot. baka masama kay baby. kung ok langna itext mo OB mo para hindi ka na pumunta dun since masama pakiramdam mo, text mo na lang din. pagaling ka. sabi ng OB ko, minsan hindi mo mararamdaman yung lahat ng movement ni baby. wag ka mastress.

hi sis reb, uyup inde naman ako basta uminom kasi takot ko rin...

i just got home from -my check up with my ob and she advised me to rest for a week kaya after the check up dumirecho na ako sa office to file my leave.

 

i woke up feeling feverish and my throat is so masakit na. duda na ako kasi alam ko na yun malamang tonsilitis na. pero still hoping na inde kasi malala ako pag magtonsilitis as in mabilis sya lumala. so i gurgled lukewarm water with salt then observed baby's movement...she is not moving... usually kasi she wakes me up by her malakas na movements. so i went back to sleep till 11. no movement pa rin talaga. then my fever na ko. so i went to my ob immediately. she did an ultrasound , ok naman daw yung size unlike sa previously result ng mesurement ko ng fundal height na maliit daw... mas accurate ang ultrasound. her breathing is ok... i can also see her diaphragm moving... kaso she barely moves kahit na tinutulak na ni ob yung tyan ko... she responds i can see her move her face.. hands , feet pero inde ko talaga nafifeel.

sabi ni ob it might be the infection i have. so i need to take my antibiotics. tapos observe ko daw ng three days dapat magimprove. hay im so worried. i hope mabilis mag effect yugn gamot coz i am so worried na

i'm on my 34th week at i experienced spotting though yung contractions (or hindi ko lang sure kung contractions na ba yun, baka matataas lang ang pain tolerance ko?) pinagbed rest ako ng OB ko. hopefully makapagantay pa si baby maski 2 weeks pa.

mga sis pano ba malalaman pagnagleleak na yung amniotic fluid?

i'm on my 35th week.. next week ang check up ko with my OB.. i'm also praying na maging full term si baby bago siya lumabas.. kelang ideal magstart magwalk?

this thread helped me a lot. We had our first visit to my OB when baby is 22 weeks na. We didn't know that I was pregnant. I'm irregular kasi and haven't experienced the vomitting part of being pregnant. Pero during our first visit sabi ni Dok na I have an open cervix so he wanted me to stop working and bedrest. I quit my work and stayed at home. On my next checkup the following week, gusto na nya akong i admit kasi 10mm na daw ang open ng cervix ko. At first ayaw pa sana namin ni hubby because of financial constraints but my parents and his family and my doctor is so concerned kaya heto 5 days na akong naka bedrest dito sa hospital. I'm now 24 weeks and 5 days at the hospital. Kinakausap ko nga si baby na wag muna lumabas at pray ng pray lang talaga. Super nakakainip lang talaga when all I can think of is shopping. Ni hindi ko man lang mabili ang things ni baby. Si hubby naman walang masyadong hilig mag shopping. I really hope makaabot ng full term si baby.

hi sis! ako din muntik mpreterm labor because my cervix opened. pray ka lang! i had steroid shots at 26wks to ensure na my baby's lungs would mature fast enough in case he goes out early. luckily we passed that stage na i gave birth last monday 37wks snd 6 days

I was hospitalize for preterm labor @ 35 weeks when i was pregnant. Hindi kasi ako magaling magfeel ng contractions kasi it was my first pa. may mild to moderate contractions (sa hospital ko na nalaman) and sumasakit yung lower abdomen and pelvis ko. nagdrop na pala si baby tapos 1cm open cervix ko. pumunta pa nga ako ng mall para mag grocery kahit ang hina ko na maglakad because of the discomfort. yun na pala. haha. overnight lang ako sa hospital and complete bed rest until i give birth. but after a week, nung next check up ko, I was recommended by my OB na iaugment (but option pa rin raw namin) kasi super drop na. nung IE niya sakin halos na fifeel na ang head ni baby kahit 1-2 cm open pa lang.

kaya si baby mejo Conehead ng konte kahit 1 mo. old na kasi matagal siyang dropped. CS naman ako so cant say na dahil sa pag ire ko ang shape ng ulo niya.

hi sisses. first time mom-to-be here na clueless talaga. i was advised by my OB to take a 14-day bedrest. i complained kasi that i've been having lower abdominal pains. im now on my 23rd week but when i went to my OB i was on my 21st. does it follow na kapag may pre-term labor, it's accompanied by bleeding or spotting or any other uncommon discharge? kasi ako i never had any sort of bleeding. i also read in a pregnancy book that lower abdominal pains are common kasi nags stretch ligaments sa abdomen. and if these pains are not accompanied by any sort of bleeding, you should be fine. but being the praning first time mom to be that i am, i went to my OB, had my bedrest and took meds na pampakapit as prescribed. also during my visit, had pelvic ultrasound and was told ba ok naman position ng placenta and no sign of rupture. doc performed IE andd closed naman cervix ko. but when she listened to the baby's heartbeat using doppler, mababa daw position ng hearbeat. dpat daw dito sa bandang taas pa so she recommended a 2-week bedrest..wondering kung same tayo ng experience sisses kasi everytime sasakit sya i wonder if it's just my ligaments stretching or visit uli ako kay doc. i experienced premature contractions on my 35th week during my 1st pregnancy. super stressed and pagod kasi ako sa work for 2 weeks nun eh. then super tigas ng tummy ko nun and i was having abdominal pains yung parang magkakaron ako. pero hindi ko pinansin kasi i thought ok lang yun. buti nalang i was scheduled for check up that week. then my ob asked me to have complete bed rest for 1 week and i was given some meds. the good thing is my cervix was not open yet that time. mas ok daw kasi talaga manganak on 37th week onwards to prevent complications on the baby. i gave birth via nsd at exactly 39 weeks.

I was brought to DR on my 34th week 5 days, due to uncontrolled hypertension. Prior to that, nabedrest ako for 2 weeks dahil sa spottinv and high bp. Pinayagan ako after that na pumasok, but na stress naman ako sa pagpasok ko kaya nagshoot up ulit bp ko.

I was admitted at St Lukes and dahil sa high bp, naging frequent at hard mga contractions ko. As in every 2-5 mins. But hindi pa open cervix ko, pero super worried ob ko dahil it can open up dahil frequent nga contractions ko. They gave me all medications to stop the contractions. All these didnt work so they resorted with max dosage of mag sulfate. Todo na daw yun and pag dinagdagan pa dosage e hindi na maganda effect sa kin. After 48hours, meron pa ring contractIons though mga mild na lang. I was so frustrated and depressed kasi 5 days na ko naka confine and our bills have ballooned already. Gustong gusto ko ng umuwi and sa bahay na mag besrest kaso hindi na ko pinayagan. We talked to our doctor and mentioned our concern re: bill. Tinignan namin mga pwedeng mangyari, say giving birth to a premature baby na despite steroid shots e baka ma incubator or maiwan sa nursery for days/weeks. Ang ending, nag stay pa rin kami sa slmcand hinayaan na nila akong maglabor. Kakatawa kasi nung nag let go na kami, saka naman naging madalang contractions. Na depress ako lalo kasi that means bala magtagal pa kami sa hospital, which costs 15k a day! I prayed so hard and talked to my baby more often. Naiiyak na ko talaga nun. After 2 days na 5cm and floating, finally nagprogress to 7-8cm ako hanggang sa nagtuloy tuloy na. Less than 30 mins lang kami sa DR and mga 4 push lang lumabas na si baby. Talagang naiyak ako nun.

To end it, it was a miracle that though i gave birth 35weeks 5 days, the baby was assessed as 36 weeks of age and scored 9.9 (perfect is 10 - which is hindu naman talaga nila binibigay ang 10). He's supposed to be roomed in with me but his pedia decided he stay in IMCU for 1 more night paa lang sure na sure na stable na ang temp nya. He was the only premature baby sa IMCU, but sya lang ang nadischarge agad. We are so blessed and i feel na its worth all the pain! Okay lang na ako na yung nagsuffer for 1 week, so long as paglabas nya, very healthy naman sya

hi mga sis. i was confined for 4 days due to pre term labor. nung una akala ko  regular cramps lang. the whole Saturday night, i was having painful cramps and lower back pain. i couldn't sleep. tapos every 5 minutes naninigas tummy ko. btw, i am 30weeks pregnant pa lang.

Sunday morning, i told my husband na punta na kami sa hospital. we went straight to the emergency room since walang available doctor pag Sunday. they monitored my baby and nakita na i am having regular mild to moderate contractions every 2 minutes. then, they admitted me na. they gave me 3 shots of steriods in prep if ever di mapigilan contractions ko. at least mag mature ang lungs ni baby bago lumabas. they also gave me terbutaline IV for almost 48 hours. luckily nag stop na contractions ko. kaso, ang side effect sa akin ng terbutaline is tumaas sugar ko at nagka chest pain ako. so they gave me insulin shot to lower my sugar level. buti na lang naging ok na ulit sugar ko agad.
i also had biophysical profile scan. the perinatologist checked if my baby is doing well. thank God ok naman sya. my cervix is closed pa din daw. so nothing to worry.  my OB advised me to have complete bed rest and have biophysical profile scan every week to check the baby. ngayon nagwoworry talaga ako palagi kay baby.

hi sis. buti naman at ok na kayo ni baby. anong findings ng mga doktor na possible cause ng premature contractions mo? wala ka bang gestational diabetes? or may dental problems? usually yon daw yon isa sa mga causes ng preterm labor. siguro stressed ka din lagi. kaya magrelax ka lang then pray palagi para ok kayo pareho ni baby..

ako naka bed rest sa bahay ngayon. last saturday when i had my US, nakita na may myometrial contractions ako and ordered me na mag bed rest. but i didnt know that i was contracting pala. sabi nung OB nag US sakin, depende sa tolerance sa pain kung nararamdaman ko. i will have my check up later and hopefully everything will be fine.

stress [textspeak!] daw ang reason kung bakit may mga contractions, which is true to my case last weekend kasi i organized my husband's and sis-in'law's bday.

^sis jl20, we have the same case. Bedrest din ako but not like before na complete bedrest. May contractions ako and good thing lumipat ako ng OB kasi yung first OB ko, mag walking daw ako. Masa.ma pala and it's not yet time. Need ko.daw paabutin si baby at least June 16 onwards. Para hindi naman daw premature. Sana maging okay lahat sa baby naten.
