Hi sis jhoanne! Have you tried testing for APAS and immunity problems? From the information that you gave I think you should ask your ob about those. You get pregnant naman so parang ang problem is maintaining the pregnancy and those are likely the reasons for a miscarriage.

For my IVF and all other expenses like hotel, food and transportation is about 300-350K pesos. Depende rin sa case. Ang sakin is bale basic ivf lang kc wala akong mga immunity problem ( blocked falllopian tubes ang problem ko).  Mahal kasi ang treatment sa ganon tulad nung isang nakasabay namin. Also in my case I have never been pregnant before so this is my 1st pregnancy.

sis joanne. May I suggest that you go to an OB who specializes in infertility. Normally if infertility doc ang OB pinapagawa nya agad ang mga test  simula pa lang.  Kasi parang kung hindi mo pa tinanong hindi nya ipapagawa ang mga test. Hopefully walang maging problema sa d & c mo. God bless.

hi sis, actually yung ob namin super closed sa family from my husband ninang sa binyag and ninang din sa kasal namin as in super closed sya kasi sya din ob ng mother in law ko, so sa kanya na kami nagpa alaga.  Ok  naman sya, kaya lang feeling ko di sya gaya ng ibang ob na agressive, sya yung tipong try nyo muna ng natural pag hindi pa din dun pa lang sya mag advice ng kung anong test ang gagawin.  Nung first miscarriage ko nga sabi ko sa husband ko kung pwedeng mag try kami sa ibang ob, he said bakit? sinabi ko yung feelings ko about it.  Hanggang sa nabuntis na nga ako.  Ngayon inulit ko sa kanya, yun approve na mag pa check kami sa iba para sa 2nd opinion ng situation namin. But we need to wait pa hanggang sa maging normal ang lahat.  Bukas na ang sched ng d and c ko.  Sana all went well.  Super takot pa naman ako sa opera and needles.

Hi sis jhoanne! Dami ko na din naging OB before na medyo conservative. Compared sa OB ko ngayon, mas okay na medyo aggressive ang OB lalo na kung 3x ka na na-miscarriage, may friend dn ako ganyan, same OB namin, pina-test kagad sya for APAS.  Tama si sis Ambrose, hindi mo problem mabuntis.  Sa kwento ng friend ko n may APAS, it will take a while bago makuha result ng APAS dito coz sa US pa pinapadala [textspeak!] sample for testing then papadala dito [textspeak!] result kaya mahal din. Nung nasa Taiwan kami, may nagpatest for APAS na ka-batch namin, masmura na masmabilis pa makuha result. Pero sana wala kana APAS, mahirap kc [textspeak!] treatment bukod sa magastos, pero meron naman iba na nabuntis muna bago nagpa-treat for APAS,depende kung gano kalala.

Hope maayos d&c mo, sis sana sundin mo [textspeak!] feelings mo about sa OB, yan kc nagpatagal sa amin, wala ako masyado problem aside from PCOS, decide lang kami pa-ivf kc 35 na ako & akala namin block ang tubes ko, na hindi naman after a test in taiwan.

mga sis, maraming salamat sa prayers nyo kahit dito lang tayo magkakakilala.  after 34 days in the hospital, naiuwi na namin ang girls namin.  thank God during our stay in the NICU walang mga babies na nagexpire, kungdi baka naloka ako. masyado kasi real yung scenario...yung agaw-buhay thing is in your face.

now i have 2 colicky ladies in my hands. waaaah.

Well, okay na ang colicky... I am sure hearing their cries feels much better than when they were in the NICU.

Anyway, colic may just be a stage and they will hopefully outgrow from it once their a bit bigger.  Adjustment period.

Manzanilla, frequent burps and a lot of patience is what would help (as per my experience).

Sa Makati Med na. Nakakuha ako Green Card so nakatipid din. 34.5k quote sakin for CS without complications. May mga additional pa din siguro yun lalo pa at twins pero at least not so expensive na the base rate compared to other CS packages. Ward lang pero ok naman ward ng MMC kaya carry na din. 33weeks na ko and counting... excited na din lalo pa at mas evident na at frequent yung movement ng twins.

I hope to meet you all pag settled na tayo sa mga twin blessings natin. Hirap din kasi wala masyado twins site na pwede maging reference dito sa pinas, mostly foreign mga sites.. would be great to have a support group a.k.a twin club for mommies. This forum has been a blessing and a great source of strength and inspiration.

hi Sis golda! I'm fine and hope ur ok too. 14 weeks na  cila babies, so far everything is ok naman kaya lang [textspeak!] isa medyo maliit ang gestational sac. Gusto ko nga ask mga sis natin kung meron na ka experience ng ganito. Although sabi naman ni OB overall ok naman cla lahat but still medyo worried pa rin ako kasi baka hindi makapag grow ng ayos c baby dahil nga maliit ang gestational sac nya.

Ask ko din sana [textspeak!] mga sis natin na nanganak ng CS sa Makati Med kung how much inabot for twins. TIA!

share ko lang yung sa wife ng brother ko, 5 months na buntis sha and twins na lalaki, pero sad to say na namatay ang babies sa tiyan nya kase naubusan sya ng water. nagka discharge sha na parang umiihe na daw sya for almost a week as in tumutulo sa legs nya water but they dont realize na amniotic fluid na pala yun. kung di ko pa sila nakausap and they asked me if thats normal di pa sila pupunta sa OB nya. so inabot ng 1 week ang discharge nya kaya nawalan na sila ng water. hayyyysss kakalungkot lang kase dahil sa pagiging bata nila at walang alam napabayaan nila yung babies.

Just had my Ultrasound this morning - 4.7lbs na yung Girl, and 4.8lbs. naman yung boy! 33 weeks, Grade II pa din placenta, so no signs of preterm daw talaga. Taba ng mga cheeks!! Excited na ko to see them. Hope everyone's okay. GodBless!

hi, new here.. i just wanna ask, gano kadelikado kung multiple birth?if more than 2?
coz i had 7 dominant follicles last friday at nagovulate na ko, possible daw na multiple. pero as i heard kapag triplets nakakaawa daw yung isa kase may tendency na maipit ng 2. may case daw na ganon ang nangyari kaya yung  bata mas mahina ang utak..sabi nga kase naipit daw nung 2 kaya hindi nakakakuha ng nutrients.
medyo worried ako, pero kahit ano pa man basta magkaanak tatanggapin ko kahit ilan.

hi mga sisses! i have a rare type of twin called superfetation. my twins were conceived a week or 2 apart so it's like buntis na ko with the 1st baby, nagproduce pa ko ng another egg which got impregnated as well so 2 sila . the other one was checked 2 weeks ago with normal heartbeat tas yung isa, bahay pa lang na umuusbong...today ko malalaman kung may heartbeat na yung 2nd. My husband and I are praying na maging healthy sila pareho .

Sis mac0308 - don't worry yet whether anung kind of multiples you are having.  Regardless, kung ilan sila - 1 or 8 (octomom!) man... always think good things for you and the baby/ies.   It is much important to think about them when you are gestating and let it run its course.  God has a special plan for each and everyone, so kung [textspeak!] man... it is good.  Just stay healthy for now as you prepare your body to foster your baby/ies temporary home - you!

Sis feniquiline - wow... that is really a rare case! Just stay healthy.  I might suggest you buy a book (kahit online, from amazon.com). Here are the books I read na hindi common ang topics about pregnancy since you are having one quite rare thing.

Basta,for now...eat every thing you could.  You need all the fats you can eat! My OB asked me to diet during my 2nd trimester...but twins/multiples is iba! Even the book said it's alright for moms ofmultiples to eat fastfood during the entire pregnancy because the twins' need them.  I am happy, nabasa ko yung book kasi otherwise, my twins would have been born premature.  I had them full termand healthy - pero kahit ang dami kong kinain, they were 5.75 and 4lbs only!  I was 165lbs pregnant from 120lbs normal weight.  Ngayon,they're almost 2...and back to normal na ako.  So, lahat ng kinain at nilamon ko noon... napunta sa babies.

So, stay healthy and eat a lot! (Yes,I ate Ice cream everyday and mcdonald's 2-3x aweek!)

hi! i agree with iceebaby. When i found about i was having twins, isip ko "hindi ba delikado yun?" so i started reading about twin pregnancy (it pays to know) forums, articles, blogs. i made it my business to know what i will go through for the next months. May mga nagsabi na mas sensitive daw pagbubuntis, mas malaki yung chances maging premature and all that scary stuff pero at the end of the day, you just have to play the cards that are dealt to you. So chill lang ako. I ate everything i want, including fast foods and mga 'nakakataba' na food. my body, i can always get back (this i know for sure) pero what i have to secure is my babies' health muna over my appearance.

Last July 19, i gave birth at Makati Med. 5.14lbs my girl, then 6.8lbs naman the boy, that same afternoon, nakaupo na agad ako to feed, then the next day walking na din agad. no time to consider pagod or pain even. on my 5th day, nagbinder na agad ako (maidenform) para ako naman ang maging cute haha. and now, after 1month++ mas payat pa ko before i got pregnant. so madali lang naman bawiin ang weight especially if you have twins (haha).

akala ko mahihirapan ako to have twins because of the things i usually read, pero i found out iba iba talaga ang experiences natin, so you should never take other's experience for a fact and let it affect how you decide on things (like expecting to be depressed just because you know most moms do after birth) You should set your mind on the positive side of things kasi it will help a lot sa mga babies. with my twins, sinanay ko both sa karga regardless of what everyone is saying na huwag daw dahil mahihirapan ang magaalaga (e kaya ko nga siya binabayaran di ba?) e ano naman masama if masanay sa hugs and karga my babies? ngayon mas at peace sila matulog and mas mahimbing and mas mahaba.

Having twins may be daunting but trust me it's not as hard as most people make it seem to be. ako mas binibigyan ko ng weight yung fun kaysa yung difficulty of having them.
