^yan din kwento ng ob ko, meron syang patient parehong cephalic pero na-CS pa din dahil naguunahan lumabas. in my case, kaya inormal basta nka cephalic un isang baby me ggawin daw sya externally pra makuha nya yung 2nd baby. kaya mejo kapante na ko sa position nla now ewan ko lang sa ssunod na araw ano n nman position nila. pero hoping & praying ma-normal ko cla.

sis golda musta twins mo? i hope enjoy k sa puyatan & all. ngbbreastfeed kb? yan kc iniisip ko kun kkayanin ng milk supply ko bka matakaw un twin boy. gusto ko tlaga i-exclusive bf cla khit un 1st 6 mos nla.

i just had my 3d/4d scan last week and thank God 3 days na lang weight difference ng twins ko! hinde na daw significant sabi ng ob ko. i hope mgtuloy tuloy na to hanggan due date. kya lang from cephalic-breech naging cephalic-tranverse lie na sila. i'm on 29 weeks, iikot p kya cla?

ang galing naman! sana ako din. pagcheck-up ko this sat at di pa lumiit discordance nila, baka di na ako paabutin sa 36 weeks, kelangan ko na raw manganak.  :o

i'm on my 32nd week and ang tindi ng pelvic pressure sa kin. feel na feel ko yung ulo nila andun na sa pp ko, parang mabibiyak na ko, di na makalakad. naiiyak na ko sa sakit! manganganak na ba ko? naku...ang aga pa!

Congrats mga co-twin moms! :D I'm a happy twin mom of 2 fraternal baby girls born last December 2009 (they're 14 months now!).  Liberation day ko yun because MAHIRAP as in MAHIRAP na EXCITING ang twin pregnancy.

My twins was born at 37 weeks and 2 days! Full term and no bed rest (except, gusto ko ng bed rest lagi sa bigat!)

Pinaka critical ang pregnancy of multiples and ang best advice ko sainyo... follow your body right now.  Do not stress yourself both emotionally and physically.

EAT FREELY!!! as IN MADAMING MADAMI! Wag kayong ever mag diet! No, No yan and definitely... lahat ng food that you eat (fatty, creamy and everything sweet) will all go for your babies!

Trust me, that is the only thing that gave me assurance na born healthy ang twins ko in full terms and good twin weight! :D

My OB keeps on telling me, bawal daw matamis.  But, I bought a nutrition book for twins... and the book says to KEEP EATING (even fastfood is good because of the carbohydrates and fats which will all go to your babies).

Keeping them in good weight is more important kasi twins tend to be a lot smaller than singletons. :)

Sharing my 35 week twin pregnancy here (pero a lot bigger pa yan nung 37 weeks ko).  http://mamamiakiddos.blogspot.com/2009/12/in-home-stretch-for-my-twins-35-weeks.html

Kaya mo yan sis! :D Pinaka mabigat and parang ang tagal ng 4 weeks na yan but worth it!  CS kaba or will you try for normal?

Ako nga sa malls at that time ng pregnancy with twins ko, nasa disabled parking space ako nagpapark.  Lahat ng tao nakatingin saakin parang sasabog na ang tiyan ko sa laki.  Yung shirts ng husband ko bitin na para na akong si Winnie the Pooh! :D

But, carry on and go for the win! :D

26 weeks.. 11 more weeks to go! :) Di ko ma-imagine gaano pa kalaki mag-eexpand yung tummy ko. Ngayon pa lang at 6months parang magbburst na sila any second. Sino pala OB nyo? I'm with Dra. Lee (Lourdes) and she said try pa din nya i-normal if yung mauunang lumabas is in cephalic position.. kaso as of this time mukhang yung girl sa left side ko yung mas malapit sa cervix and naka-breech siya. E since masikip sila sa loob di ko alam if kaya pa umikot.

Active pa din naman ako maglakad.. commuting to work pa din. though hindi ko alam how much longer.. hope we could all make it to 37 weeks at least para super safe our twins! :)

Glad to have this forum. Di kasi maka-relate most people sa twins. Na-eexcite sila pero the difficulty di nila gets. I hope we deliver them safely and walang complications.

Goodluck to us. :)

You can do it sis Cookie!  I made it till 37 weeks and they are very healthy! :D

Pero, iba kasi sa twins... we have to be open to deliver them in CS.  At 30 weeks, ikot ng ikot pa din yung isa ko while cephalic na yung una, but breech yung 2nd.  I told my OB, try mag normal but I definitely leave the decision to her since alam niya ang safe for me and that both babies will make it.

I opted for scheduled CS when naging Breech yung isa on my 36 weeks.  I felt relieved kasi mas mahirap na mahirapan yung 2nd which sinabi ng OB ko na if we delivered na normal, di nakaya ni 2nd since nag poop na siya and akala pa nga niya na hindi alive yung 2nd pag open ng placenta. :(  If nag normal, nahirapan pa siya sa birth canal.

They both went home with me with no complications! :D Kaya, I know you can do it mga sis!

mga sis di kinaya. i broke my bags of water (twice kasi) nung april 12 on my 32nd week and kinelangan na ako manganak. when i got to the ER at 10 am, 2 cm dilated na and when they wheeled me into the labor room, 4 cm dilated na. was supposed to have the CS at 6 pm para maturukan pa ako ng 1 pang steroid (the first one was given at the ER) but baby A was already suffering from fetal distress so CS na ako at 12 nn.

i gave birth to two little girls 1.6 kg and 1.4 kg but they had to transfer them to another hospital with a better equipped NICU and neonatologist. they were suffering from pneumonia when they got out and they had to be put under ventilators, compressed air and oxygen kaagad and antibiotics. i was not able to see my babies for 3 days. nung madischarge ako sa hospital, agad ako sumugod sa hospital ng mga babies ko kahit na masakit pa ang buo kong katawan.

i wanted to cry at the sight of my little girls na puro tubes and puro tapal ang mukha ng eye mask and bonnet. they are so tiny. pero pinigilan ko kasi baka completely magbreak down ako. i wanted to hug them but couldn't. when i touched them, i was so afraid that they would fall apart because they are so fragile. they are also under phototherapy dahil sa jaundice. for days naka-IV lang sila kahit na gutom na gutom na sila and very uncomfortable. parang pinipiga ang puso ko. baka daw hindi pa matolerate ng system nila ang BM ko.

through prayers and my babies' will to live, nagrespond naman sila sa antibiotics and unti-unti naintroduce ang BM ko. later on isa-isa nang natanggal ang breathing apparatuses sa kanila and thank God they are now able to breathe on their own.

muntik pa magperform ng blood transfusion kay baby A ko dahil sa umaakyat yung bilirubin level nya sa alarming level, meaning the jaundice was getting worse. thankfully she pulled it through the night with double phototherapy lights so di na kinalangan. as much as possible ayaw ng dr namin na maging invasive sa treatments kasi nga halos araw-araw na tinuturukan babies ko tapos blood transfusion pa...

anyway, my babies are more stable now and we have to monitor them na for weight gain and feeding development. as of last night hindi pa coordinated ang sucking, swallowing and breating nila kaya naka-tube feeding sila. it's alright, kesa naman nung nakaraang linggo na naka-IV lang sila. siguro 1 month kami sa NICU dahil kelangan dahan-dahanin sila plus kulang naman talaga sila ng 1 month sa womb. naloloka na din ako sa gastos, para na akong nagpapagaawa ng bahay pero ayoko munang isipin yun dahil kelangan mabuhay ng babies ko. saka ko na harapin yung mga utang later.

sabi ng neonatologist namin, what really helped my babies was their weight. buti na lang mabigat sila for their gestational age based on my LMP. sindaya ko talaga magpakalaki dahil nga 90% alam ko magpepreterm sila. mas madali daw mamanage ang treatments ng preemie babies na 1 kg and above. kaya EAT, EAT, EAT! i can't emphasize this enough. eat high protein foods or have a high protein and calorie diet. it would surely save your babies.

atsaka buti na lang din daw mabilis yung development ng lungs ng babies ko. di na sila kelangan iintubate (bubutasan sa throat para lagyan ng tube to help with their breathing). one less problem.

^Sis, i had been in that situation before mahirap to see them in that condition but you have to be strong for your twins. Kaya mo yan sis, visit mo sila everyday kasi nararamdaman nila ang caress ng mommy at yung sound ng voice natin alam nila yun just tell them how much you love them and tell them to be strong because you want to be with them na. I gave birth at 35 weeks, 1950 grams and 2100 grams sila noon di na sila naincubator pero nakaCPAP, phototherapy and warmer sila after 2 weeks nakalabas din sila ng hospital everyday pumupunta ko noon ng NICU to visit them and to talk to them. Prayers really  helps. Wag mo muna isipin ang gastos, importante ang health ng babies. Be strong sis, I'll include your babies in my prayers. ;)

sis luthien, be strong and healthy for your babies ok? they know na you are their mother kaya they can feel your presence. we'll pray for you and your babies. God listens.
sis labyles, just this week, di na po siguro ko magbf  kasi  1x a day ko na lang nagagawa, wala pang 1 ounce each boob kaya frustrated and disappoointed ako sa sarili ko sa stage na yan. guess kung di lang ako stressed, overfatigued..siguro kaya pa sana e.i tried my best naman, lam ng babies ko yun kasi pinipilit  ko sila isuck nila directly sakin kaso mahina na talaga (natalac, fernugreek at malunggay soup everyday pa ako from pregnancy til now)...sabi nga ng asawa ko, you did your best and i know your babies knows that too and they will still love you for that:)..basta sis, iba2 tayo ng tadhana. you can do bf exclusively. just hire 2 yaya na. yun lang siguro pagkamali ko na kulangan ako ng set of hands to take care of them eh. sobrang gusto ko ako lagi nandun eh nappagod din naman ako...deadma ko lang pagod kasi kaya ayan ang consequence siguro sa akin. tapos na ml ko kaya next week pasok na rin naman ako  sa work at walang room to do my pump kaya talagang i will stop trying sooner or later na rin...though honestly, it really really hurts my heart not being able to bf...i pictured myself kasi as an exclusive bf mom din eh as in super determined ako...but i cant have everything that i want...and im trying to accept it one day at a time..
to all our mommies with multiple preggy! go for bf ok? belly rubs! enjoy your pregnancy:)

Oh my, sis Luthien! Prayed for your precious babies complete recovery. Hindi madali yan, sis.  Tama ka, babies muna bago ang gastos isipin.  Also think of yourself din.  Help is on its way, good thing that doctors are really doing a great job.

Tama ka sis, hindi pwedeng mag diet or even konting kain sa twin pregnancy.  EAT ALL YOU WANT, TWIN PREGNANT MOMMIES! [textspeak!] man sabihin ng ibang tao (even OB) na wag kumain ng madami.  True yan, you have to keep on eating.  ALL OF IT WILL GO TO THE BABIES.

sis jhoanne, welcome to the twin mommy club! baka sa ultrasound po based sa development nila, like [textspeak!] weight or gestational progress, pang5wks pa lang. pag sinabing lmp, kasama pa 1st day of mens sa counting ng obgyne pero in reality di ba,kung kelan nabuo talaga.
nwei, dont wory about the weeks thing, ang impt by this time, may hearbeat na po sila. just tell your ob re [textspeak!] ultrasound report, siya rin naman dapat maginterpret nun kasi minsan sa ultrasound, mga tech lang sila kaya di nila elaborate.
hth po! belly rubs and congrats to you and ur hubby!:)

thanks again  :)
