do you have any idea how much it would cost to deliver twins? double ba compared sa singletons?  :o

^ Why not ask your OB and the hospital where you intend to give birth?

Hindi naman double the PF for CS delivery ang siningil sa akin ng OB ko although mas mataas ang rate than that of a CS delivery for a single birth. Pero yung hospital charges for labs, isolettes, incubators, supplies, etc., times two siempre.

ako din sis overweight with other illness pa nga eh kaya categorized high risk pregnancy ako tapos naging twins pa, pero i will try normal delivery kasi so far, i dont have complications except sa may GDM ako na usually controlled the whole pregnancy with the help of insulin n diet. di ako takot kung at the end ng paglalabor, sasabihin din palang CS ako? masakit man na katotohanan yun pero it was an option at first eh, mas less ang gastos? na dapat ready naman maging normal o CS man, then i will go CS even after lots of painful frustrating labor...
thou i am a a first time mom to be too, parang ang sarap isipin na they will come out of you naturally kaya positive thinking lang tayo sis, even breastfeeding, kinatatkot ko na baka wala, but i really want to kaya imimind over matter ko talaga yan..
im at my 35th week, trying to make it til 38 para ayos lahat...i'll keep u all posted :) good vibes sis luthien! it will help and so does prayers :) take care

hello sis its hard for me seeing them in that condition na alam kong nahihirapan at in pain sila pero wala akong magawa...hindi naman sila nakaincubator...at medyo magastos talaga pero ok naman sila ngayon at 4 months they are weighing almost 9 kgs at super healthy naman. basta sis, keep on praying lang tsaka iwas sa stress..  godbless and have a safe delivery:)

i could only imagine the pain... :'(

:o i'm so happy with my decision na magbakasyon ng maaga.

as of last u/s ko nung sat at 23 wks girl yung isa. yung isa di magpakita pero girl din yun kasi identical sila eh. ???

magpa-CAS ako in 2 weeks. pag ganun at makita ang gender, how sure na kaya yun ang gender?

God bless golda_ph sa delivery! lapit na.

My twin boys were in the NICU for two months.  It was an emotional roller-coaster ride for me and my husband.  We did not expect how difficult it would be to have NICU babies.  During those two months, I personally witnessed 5 babies in the NICU die.  Nakakanerbiyos talaga.

Ang payo ko, prepare for it.  No one can say, not even the most experienced OB and pedia, na hindi mani-NICU ang mga bata.  I also stopped working when I was pregnant - ito sa tingin ko nakabuti talaga.  Kami kasi ng husband ko were expecting pre-term delivery but we weren't prepared for all the complications that accompany premature birth.

sis, i remember during the time na nasa NICU twins ko ang dami nila dun if i remember it right 10 silang andun and everyday may baby na namamatay kaya todo pray ako noon kahit na nurse ako as in natakot talaga ako.

thanks sis cloud n luthien, will make follow up ultrasound today as reference for my weekly check up na with ob n endo. hay katawa nga at ngayon pag gumalaw talaga sila babies, parang lalabas na ang kamay at paa nila sa tyan ko as in parang mabubutas na, grabe visible na tlaga ang alon pangalien..
if we want to talk about worst scenario, mukhang si sis marose na ata dito ang dumaan sa pinakamahirap na pakiramdam ng pagiging mom sa twins kaya her experiences are one of my inspirations to be stronger/healthier for my babies kasi tlagang kahit gano ka kaready, some expectations do/dont happen kaya maging stress free na lang para laging sa rational mind magisip :)
belly rubs to all :)

@golda, nadaan sa prayers talaga.  We're lucky din because we had excellent doctors and staff who took care of the babies when they were at the NICU.  My twin boys are now 3 years old and they're healthy and happy. ;D

To all other moms here, huwag matakot pero mag-prepare.
