nagpacheckup ako yesterday and magkapatong sila. nalaman ko na nasa baba yung isa then yung isa nasa taas kaya pag sumisipa alam ko na kung sino. mas magalaw nga lang yung nasa baba

i'm on my 4th month now at mejo nglessen n un morning sickness ko at hinde na din ako mapili sa pgkain. sana mgtuloy tuloy na to.

btw, mga sis. ngpa u/s ako nun huling checkup ko at anlalake n nung babies mukha n talaga clang tao unlike nun 2nd month na bilog lang. kya lang nun sinukat n ng ob un babies ko 1 wk ang difference nla. bale si twin A = 13 wks tpos si twin B = 12 wks. sabi nman ni ob ok lang daw un wag lang aabot ng 1 month ang difference kc that means daw hinde lumalaki un isang baby. last u/s ko kc 1 day lang ang liit ni twin B ngaun 1 wk na. i hope next month mgkasinglaki na sila. dahil na din siguro sa sobrang mapili ako sa pgkain nun nglilihi ako.

sakin sis nung 5th month u/s ko mga ganyan din ang difference ng babies. sabi din ng OB ko ok lang daw until 2 weeks difference wag lang 1 month. isa lang ba placenta ng babies mo?

 mga sis nag preterm labor ako last Dec 17, so ayun po nilabas ko na sa world si baby Kasandra and baby Cedric na dapat po sa Feb 18 pa. I thank the Lord kasi hinde niya pinapabayaan yung kambal ko. they were both mahina ang lungs so i ask each one of you to pray for them, they are thriving to survive, mabaet at maawain ang Diyos kaya lumalaban ang mga anak ko, isama po sana naten sila sa ating mga dasal for their speedy recovery, bilang first time mom, sobrang nag aask po ako ng help sa inyo, please pray for them, many thanks God bless us all.

@missfragile - will pray for your twins, i'm sure they will survive nabigyan ka ba ng steroid shots nung 28 weeks ka?

@missfragile, I shall pray for your twins.  Ang mahal ng gamot para sa lungs (eto yung surfactant ang tawag, @Php24,000/vial).  Ilang weeks ang twins mo?  Hang in there!

thanks mga sis. God bless us all... nabigyan po ako steroid shots kung kelan manganak na po ako via IV. tapos po napanganak ko sila siguro mga 30-31 weeks. ganun po... salamat talaga ng marami po.

hello! this is my first time posting here. i'm on my 21st week na but i still don't know if my twins would be boy-boy or girl-girl because shy sila magpakita nung last u/s ko 2 weeks ago. (i have two sets of twin maternal aunts so nasa family namin)

may pcos din ako kaya nahirapan magbuntis. i was given clomid (saglit lang) then provera para maregulate ang cycle. on my third month on provera, ayun nabuntis nga.

what i'm worried about is i've had 3 spotting incidents na. the first was when i was 7 weeks pregnant. napraning ako so nagpa-u/s ako sa pgh as ordered by my OB ko para ma-date na rin ang baby ko. dun ko nalaman na twins pala ang pinagbubuntis ko. i was told to take duphaston. my OB said to be generous when it comes to duphaston, basta ma-alarm ako sa stains, duphaston agad.

the second incident was during my 4th month pero di ako masyadong nagpakapraning kasi brown discharge and light lang naman but still it stained my underwear...wala ako ginawa and just prayed. (i forgot na pwede nga pala ako uminom ng duphaston) then the following check-up ko, ok naman babies ko.

but yesterday medyo heavy yung staining pero di naman fresh blood. i called my OB and she told me to take duphaston and bed rest (may standby na reseta ako). if my spotting didn't stop that night, i have to go to ER.

hindi pa ako pumupuntang ER, di pa naman uli nagsestain.

question: normal ba na magspotting sa twins? my monthly u/s shows that my twins are identical since they share a placenta but they have two sacs (mono-di). di naman sinasabi ng OB kung high-risk ako, siguro para di ako mapraning. pero she already forbade me to drive myself to work and rest ako as much as possible (the medical cert came before my latest spotting).

i plan to file my early leave of absence na this week kasi ayoko na ng ganyang scare. plus i am a journalist and pressure cooker ang workplace ko daily. i'm just worried about the financial strain sa amin kasi uubusin ko na yung mga naipon kong VL the past few years and bahala na pag naubos ko na, leave w/o pay ako. and balak ko na rin umalis muna sa profession ko kasi parang di ko kakayanin ang twins while working as a journalist. my husband is a govt employee so di din kami mayaman. i'm scared sa cost of delivering twins and possibility of preterm delivery.

i know in my heart i'm making the right decision but i'm questioning whether it is wise. i'm confused.

^ Sis, I suggest you take a leave now while it's early.  As far as I know, twin pregnancy is a high-risk pregnancy and you really have to take extra precautions.  A pre-term delivery is very probable.  Cast your worries aside and seek the Lord's help.  He will provide.

sis luthein, everybody in this thread felt the same, fear, scared, happy, overwhelmed, excited, nervous etc...but one thing is for sure, we are special for conceiving twice as much(for some thrice pa) to receive God's gift to us.
like me too,di mo talaga maalis sa isip mo na ang dami mong eencounter na difficulties before nothing is impossible with God. kaya second demotion ako k sis marose na namiss ko narin!!!:)

Now that my children are three and a half years old, I can really say that I am super enjoying being a mom of twins.  Sobra silang nakakatuwa.  I'm so in love with my twin boys.  Super blessing talaga sila.

salamat mga sis. i'm now trying to relax and not think too much. minsan nga lang nakakapraning pag di ko sila nararamdaman gumalaw. i can't even determine kung gumagalaw nga ba silang pareho. pag monthly u/s ko kasi yung isang nasa left side ko ang nakikita kong naglilikot, yung isa di masyado.

haaay wala kasi akong kilala na nagbuntis ng twins (pwera nga lang sa lola ko) kaya wala akong makausap. yung mga karamihan namang forums about twins eh sa ibang bansa so parang medyo detached ako sa kanila.

hi mga sis, i'm 11weeks pregnant. last US ko, confirmed i have a twin pregnancy. that time 8wks 1d yung isa yung isa 7wks 4d. bukas check up ko na ulit, excited ako malaman development nila.. sa ngayon nakakaexperience ako ng sumasakit yung butt area ko, yun nga icoconsult ko sa ob ko..  tas wala pa rin tigil yung pagsuka ko.. as in kapag kumakain ako, maya maya susuka na ako, mag ti-3 mos na tummy ko, pero parang di pa rin nababawasan pag suka ko.. haaay... afraid lang  kasi baka kulag na nakukuha nilang nutrients sakin since nagboblow nga ako everytime i eat..

you can share anything here. we all experience the same journey. sa mga 5-6months may mararamdaman ka na na pitik2 pero pag tapak ng 7months onwards, hay nonstop naman ang galaw kahit isa o dalawa pa sabay...dont worry, whatever youre feeling now, it's perfectly normal. buti ka nga eh, wala kang gestational diabetes like me and most of our sisses here na nagcarry ng twins nagkaGDM pero we dealt with it for the sake of our babies. mahirap magtiis sa diet, gamot, glucose monitoring, insulin etc pero ako nga di ko namalayan na i'm 34 weeks na this time...dami na sacrifices na dinaanan but i always listen my docs para no more complications. mine are girls (thou we wished it was girl n boy para quota na) so sabi mo identical na sila babies mo so either gender sila, still ok basta healthy
kaya keep on hangin there ok? happy thoughts..just think of names u like to give them, what are the features na gusto mo mapana sa kanila...God listens so pray2 for strength and keep you healthy. hth. belly rubs!

congrats sis! dont wori, kahit twins kasi, for some, same din ang manifestations ng pregnancy like morning sickness etc pero basta eat lang kahit nasusuka and lotsa liquid/water. by this time, meron na sila heartbeat so mas matutuwa ka na marinig yun kung di mpa narinig, pang inspire din sa yo na you need to eat more healthy food kahit nilalabas mo pa kasi natitira pa rin naman ang nutrients kahit ganun, check with ur doc para sa multivits/supplements for you and ur babies get ready for a very rewarding experience...
just like our other sisses here na nakagraduate na sa forum at successfully gave birth to twins, i'm on my way sa 34th week kaya konting tiis pa for me..ang masakit is yun tail bone, groin at manas!
