aww.. congrats sis! am not pregnant but i really, really, really, really wanted twins. of course, kahit single pregnancy ok na din ako basta healthy pero given a choice, i would love to have twins. nowadays ba, nakukuha na din sya ng meds? like what foreign celebs are doing?

thanks po sis. actually, i'm on ttc for 8mos. pcos, retroverted and lupus patient po ako. nagduphaston, meformin and 2 cycles of clomid, lots of follicle monitoring and 1 shot of pregnyl, unsuccessful pa rin. pero netong june lang ako pahinga from duphaston tapos dun na ako nabuntis. maybe sabi ng iba, may after effect pa ang clomid ko w/c i took nung May kaya daw possible na 2 good egg cell lumabas at kataon ok sila spermy  ni hubby kaya twins ang nagawa. both sides namin, walang lahing kambal talaga kaya nakakatuwa talaga.
hope i inspired you too. With the help of prayers too, very powerful tool! i know God listens...we just have to wait In his time, tingnan mo nakulitan sa akin 2x tuloy bgay unexpected talaga

I had a high-risk pregnancy because aside from carrying twins, I also had APAS (an auto-immune disease like lupus) and because of the steroids I took for my APAS, I also had gestational diabetes.  Bed rest ako during my pregnancy and I had to stop working.  I gave birth at 29 weeks, much too early.

sis marose17, congrats to your twins! kahit medyo mahirap pag may APAS at dahil sa meds, gestational diabetes pa...may sacrifice ka pa sa work. Kahit premature, basta ok babies mo, everything is worth it. so far, apas test ako 2x (nung di pa preg, at netong preg na) pero negative naman. kaya ang pinagdadasal ko na lang, wag magflare ang lupus kasi tlagang mabebedrest na rin ako nun kung sakali...ngayon nga eh, may circumferential subchronc hemorrhage na ako eh, 3x duphaston pa lang naman pinapainom sa akin at isoxilan para sa cramping. kaya i hope makuha sa duphaston lang para di na bedrest. medyo kulang sa budget pag si hubby lang ang work..lalo na 2x the gastos na everything.san ka nnganak sis? magknu inabot? thanks ulit

I gave birth at Manila Doctors Hospital.  My fees: around Php200,000 (including PF of the OB, anesthesiologist, endo and immunologist). Covered naman ng health card ng hubby ko ang hospital bills. My children's fees are something else - P800,000++.  Kahimatay!

I don't mean to scare you, sis.  Basta, pray ka for a full-term delivery para hindi magastos. 

Anyway, after all the kahirapan and gastos, I can say that having twins (I have fraternal twin boys, by the way) is really fulfilling and fun.     Now that my kids are three years old, sobrang enjoy kami ng husband ko.  Tig-isa kaming bitbit pag lumalabas haha.

@ golda_ph, good for you.. blessing pa ang effect ng meds mo.. take care of the twins!

@ marose, kami naman, meron twin genes sa mother side and i remember nung med lecture namin before, binilang ko sa generation ko lalabas yung twins ulit. pero i think, magrerely din ako sa meds because super irreg ang period ko and i think candidate din ako na PCOS. di lang na rule out nung check up ko sa ob kase di na ako bumalik.

^ Sis, ang lola ko sa father side may twins tapos nag-skip ng isang generation, tapos ako nga ang nagka-twins ulit.

^ ai ganun din bilang ko. lola's side meron then wala sa generation nina mom tapos generation na namin magpipinsan. sana ako ang lucky one! =)

@marose17, thanks sa very useful info. medyo muntikan na ako mahulog sa upuan ko sa laki ng gastos nyo sis pero like what i always say to my prayers, wala namang binibigay si Lord na di natin kaya so i hope magfull term nga(medyo nasa rare case yun for me) para everything will be fine. kayo nga naanticipate nyo ba yung ganun? buti nakahanda naman kayo...pano  ka pala natutulog nun? kasi advise nila left side para may circulation pero pano nga pag 2 dala natin?..hope u can advise me kasi nahihirapan na ako makatulog kasi naiisip ko agad kung ayos lang sila babies or what..
@ms independent, there's always something special pag mga twins sa bloodline kaya dont worry, you have a larger chance pa rin. magpaworkup ka na rin kung gusto mo kasi yang pcos na yan ang talagang nakakagulo sa natural na pagoovulate...ako po metformin ang prescribe to correct it. nagclomid pa, ayun 2 good eggcell..hehe:) saya2 talaga, with prayers before i go to sleep... wish you 2x babydust sis..

^ Sis, my OB said before there was a big chance that I would deliver prematurely.  Ang target niya 32 weeks.  Happy na raw siya kapag umabot ako ng 32 weeks, kaso nga napaaga.

Marami pa kong challenges (nasa APAS and breastfeeding threads mostly) but I do not want to scare you so huwag mo nang basahin muna ha.

Relax ka lang muna and pray.  One thing I am most thankful for is the fact that I stopped working nga.  Nakatulong talaga yung hindi ako bumabiyahe everyday (QC-Makati-QC) when I was pregnant.

Natutulog ako I think sa left side ko nga.  Maraming pillows kailangan.  Uncomfortable talaga pero kayang-kaya naman.

^ Marami kasi akong complications kaya mahirap.  But it was all worth it.

Ang sarap maging mommy ng twins!  Yun na lang muna isipin mo for now.

im now 33 weeks pregnant with twin girls. thankful din ako kada araw na lumilipas at ok kami, kasi like what they said, prone maging premature. this is my second pregnancy, i lost my first due to miscarriage last year, then sa early stage ng pregnancy ko ngayon, i had heavy bleeding, i got scared kasi akala ko uulit na naman, kaya it was really a surprise when we found out i am having twins during my ultrasound. hindi ko expected kasi it skipped too many generations na rin sa family. pumasok lang sa isip ko nun, God is really good, He knows when its time. 

being pregnant with twins is no joke, syempre maraming worries, fears then minsan may complications din pero ginagawa ko i just pray and leave it all to HIM. almost 4 mos din ang all-day sickness ko, and lost a lot of weight. i stayed at home, naghinay hinay din sa house work.

hirap lang matulog, lalo na pag lilipat ka ng pwesto. i usually lie down on my left side pero kakangawit din.  excited na ako on our D-Day, cant wait to meet them..

i hope all is going well with you... belly rubs.

ty sis periwinkle! praying for your safe delivery, cs na po ba or normal ang gagawin mo? its nice to hear na kahit medyo mahirap, tlagang ok pa rin ang pregnancy na twins. ako still working..dipa naman ako advise na bedrest kahit may konting hemorrhage..cute naman ng new terms, ngayon ko lang nalaman...belly ubs cute! let's pray for each other and all mommies  out therre...take care

ako gusto namin ni mami twins pero nung nag pa ultrasound ako isa lang nakita.... 6 weeks ako nagpaultrasound.....pero okay lang atleast preggy na ako... TTC din ako 5 yrs and PCOS din ako...

yap, kita kasi sa 1st u/s ang 2 gestational sacs tapos 2nd u/s, two heartbeats na rin..dahil magkahiwalay na sacs, may possibility na fraternal kaya pedeng boy n girl at di gano magkamukha...kaya wish ko lang girl n boy na para kumpleto na family namin pero boy boy or girl girl basta healthy, ayos lang...
congrats 2 u sis, sarap tignan ang mga positive na preg test at u/s na ok ang results.. belly rubs

^since it will be my first then twins din, candidate na daw ako for CS. ok lang din kasi atleast alam ko kung kelan sila makikita, hehe.. magastos nga lang pero i know its all worth it.

separate din sacs nila kaya at first parang gusto din namin opposite sex, pero ang pinag pray ko lang nun, sana healthy sila. i have always wanted a girl for my first baby, kasi puro boys na sa both sides ng family, kaya kahit pareho silang girls, happy and thankful ako

me too im really praying for a twins..i have pcos, currently taking metformin and naka 2 cycles of clomid na..although wala pa rin result, but im crossing my fingers.im willing to wait naman..no twins in both me and my husband's family so it's all luck that im relying with=)
