Family lang, kami at yung lolo nya, out of town or bbq or swimming lang kami kasi summer din yun. Since lagi naman nag-fa-family outing pag summer, eh di isahin na lang, tipid na sa money, tipid pa sa preparation at the same time mas relax, mas happy! :-)

Still not decided whether I should throw a 3rd birthday party for my eldest daughter. Hubby encourages me to do so and hold it in my province (which my family would love because other relatives can come). I think it will be too costly, out of town fees are really high. I have until the end of the month to finalize IF we should pursue or not. But whatever happens, she's still gonna have a school party on the day of her birthday.

This year, hindi rin kami nag-party para sa birthdays ng mga anak ko. Simple celebration lang sa bahay. Cake and pancit lang.

Last year, my eldest joined the fun Run for Eleksyon 2010: Tatakbo Ka Ba? By GMA. The date fell exactly on his birthday so yun na rin ang bday celebration namin. :D

sis, if you're from Paranaque, there's  Fun Fanch in Westgate Alabang.  Rain or shine pwede kase indoor play.  One hour play is Php 175/kid  and unlimited play at 350/kid  ;D Im sure your kids would love it there ;)  If they get hungry, maraming resto naman within Westgate.

still contemplating whether to have a big celebrate my son's 1st birthday or not. Si hubby decided not to have a party but instead a simple celebration with family, both sides na lang daw. Eat out and go to Manila Ocean park.

IMO naman, its his 1st bday naman eh. whether maalala nya or hindi I want a party celebration kahit fastfood party will do na for me.

Another dilemma is the number of invitee, total of 130-150 pax..do you think may fastfood na makaka accomadate with that large number of attendees?

Kami no big party. My baby is turning 1 year old in november but we decided to just have a simple get together with relatives. Wala nang mga host, games, etc. My pamangkins are big na din, youngest before my baby will be almost 5 by then.

Nung una gusto ko magparty but when i found out how much kiddie parties now cost, i had second thoughts.

Restaurant party lang kami this time and simple get together lang.

My son will be turning 2 years next Monday. =) We decided not to have a party kasi mas enjoy siyang mamasyal. =)

So bukas - SAT we will go to my sisters house for his first celebration. Then, Sunday we will attend a mass then shopping sa mall. In the afternoon Pedia visit.

Then, on Monday we will go to Star City. =) It's a 3day celebration. Sana ma enjoy niya. hehe

We will be having a party again nect year on his 3rd birthday... Then, when he turns 7 naman school party. =)

1st - Mcdo party
2nd - camiguin

For my kids' 5th birthday, my husband and I are thinking of taking them to a trip abroad then school party lang para may birthday cake and candle blowing pa din sila. ;)

Also, baka maenjoy nya rin [textspeak!] Dino Island dun. Sana din makasakay siya sa Bump cars, he also love cars kasi. Sana maenjoy nya birthday nya.

Also, mga mommies, may Disney show sa Araneta this coming October. Plan naming bumili ng ticket. For sure, mag eenjoy mga kids.

gusto ko sana magkaron ng bonggang 1st birthday party ng anak ko. as early as now, nagiisip nako ng concept (gave birth last june) pero ayaw ng hubby ko. either lumabas nalang daw kameng family or simple celebration lang with both our families. di nga din daw kase matatandaan ng baby yun at ilagay nalang yung gagastusin namin sa pang education ng baby... napapaisip na din tuloy ako.

^ The first birthday is an important milestone and traditionalist ako.  Gusto ko may party, especially since ang laki ng hirap ko when I was pregnant and when I gave birth prematurely.  And it is fun to plan a party.

If you have a video of the party and you show it when your child is old enough, like, pag toddler na siya, ma-appreciate niya yun.  The best thing that my twins said to me when they were old enough to view their first birthday video was this:  "Wow, Mommy, nice party.  Thank you!"

Believe me, he will appreciate it in time. :)

case to case basis kasi.. if you have enough budget na hindi nasacrifice yung needs ni baby why not give a nice birthday party diba :) kanya kanya lang talaga..

pero depende talaga yan sa parent at sa situation.. for our 1st child as much as we can we really plan a nice birthday party then yung succeeding simple nalang or travel baka maulit na ang party sa 7th birthday nya.

Like ako nung nag 18 nga ako wala naman akong malaking handa but my parents gave me a house and lot :) and for me that's more than any birthday party kasi for future na yun.

kanya kanya lang talaga yan.. kung ano nag fit sa situation go for it. :)

^ako naman walang nakitang pics nung 1st birthday ko. wala yata ako birthday party which made me sad nung 1st time ko nakita yun dahil sa kapatid ko meron. siguro, di ko nalang bobonggahan noh? para may matirang pang educational fund nya. the next birthdays nalang siguro yung handa lang sa bahay with families.

naku! I am having a dilemma na tuloy. I just listed the sure guests na pupunta sa birthday ng anak ko, at yung mga sure is nasa 80 na! nagulat ako sa dami. hindi ko gusto nang bonggang party and ayoko ng stressful event since hindi din naman makakapag participate ang baby ko. I will talk to my hubby tomorrow and discuss it to him. Ang naiisip ko ngayon is party for family lang sa both sides. Plus we just paid lots of debts in the past 3 months so tight budget talaga kame ngayon. I still want to celebrate my baby's 1st birthday but my main goal is super simple lang. Any suggestions?

^ house party.  We've celebrated my kids' birthdays in our house twice.  Both were super fun.  I got more creative with the details lang and gave away nicer prizes para nicepa rin at hindi kainan type lang.

For my son's actual birthday next week, we're taking him on a day trip to Tagaytay to visit the Residence Inn Zoo and Paradizoo. Hubby got metrodeal vouchers kasi.
We're also having a small party for him at the end of the month. Sabay with my parents' 40th wedding anniversary.
