Finding the Perfect Pair of Jeans

Ako naman, malaki ang thighs ko. Kaya kahit tama lang sakin sa waist area ang jeans, di naman tama ang fit sa thighs. Kaya I usually go a size higher para ma-accommodate ang aking thunder thighs. I just bought a very nice pair of bootcut jeans at Dorothy Perkins yesterday. Ang ganda ng fit and I'm in love with the color. Sulit!

Plan ko magpa customize ng jeans para perfect fit sa akin. I heard merong nagcucustomize sa underpass ng Quiapo. Meron na bang nagpagawa sa kanila? Might check it out one of these days.

My problem is the length! Those that fit nicely on the butt/waist/thighs are almost always bitin and those that are long enough do not fit me properly on the butt.... what to do, what to do?

try dorothy perkins.. im tall too, 5'6". ok na yung regular. if you're taller than me, try yung long. they have lot's of dark shades. i just got a pair last week.

sa debenhams ako nakafind ng pinaka ok na jeans sa akin. no need to repair kahit sa length. yehey.

hirap ako makabili ng jeans na babagay sakin. laki kasi ng balakang ko. mas lalo na ngayon puro skinny jeans ang mga binebenta. nagtataka nga lang ako minsan, bakit kaya may mga matataba na mukhang hindi naman nahihirapan makabili ng jeans na babagay sa kanila. tapos ako, balakang lang naman problema ko eh hirap makapili ng babagay ang fit sakin. sadness.

And the hips have became more flawed with the influx of skinny jeans. Naiinggit ako sa girls with boyish body type, they can wear almost everything and when I say everything is justified because pairs of jeans are staples. In my experience, ng slslow down if not bumabara sa bandang hips. So once nakakatsamba ng perfect pair, binibili ko na agad. I also stray away from very expensive ones since wearing jeans is not really my strongest points and invest in pairs of chinos instead.

Tiyaga lang mga sis kapag maghahanap ng jeans. Minimum of 6 pairs ang maiging isukat bago bilhin. Typically, sabi ni Tim Gunn, 10-12 pairs ang dapat mong isukat bago ka makapili. But since diverse ang katawan natin (ako nga pala at plus size), hindi at all times applicable.

Gusto ko ring subukan sa Quiapo underpass, kasi ikaw ang mamimili ng design, ng tela, until the last details e.g. studs or embro. I heard ang minimum is P500 then pataas ng pataas depende nalang sa tela etc.

I found that Jag jeans fit my butt well. It's just hard to find flares in a sea of skinnies.
