A Pet's 10 Commandments

1. My life is likely to last 10-15 years. Any separation from you is likely to be painful.
2. Give me time to understand what you want of me.
3.. Place your trust in me. It is crucial for my well-being.
4. Don't be angry with me for long and don't lock me up as punishment. You have your work, your friends, your entertainment, but I have only you.
5. Talk to me. Even if I don't understand your words, I do understand your voice when speaking to me.
6. Be aware that however you treat me, I will never forget it.
7. Before you hit me, before you strike me, remember that I could hurt you, and yet, I choose not to bite you.
8. Before you scold me for being lazy or uncooperative, ask yourself if something might be bothering me. Perhaps I'm not getting the right food, I have been in the sun too long, or my heart might be getting old or weak.
9. Please take care of me when I grow old. You too, will grow old.
10 On the ultimate difficult journey, go with me please. Never say you can't bear to watch. Don't make me face this alone. Everything is easier for me if you are there, because I love you so.

Take a moment today to thank God for your pets. Enjoy and take good care of them.
Life would be a much duller, less joyful experience without God's critters.

This give tears whenever I read it. remind me of pets who left me na.. I like 4 lalo na pag pinapagalitan ko sila, Ito nalang iniisip ko minsan. I also like 10..kasi before when they get sick, ayoko nakikita nahihirapan sila..but because of this I make sure I'm with them til their last breath.. haay, reminded me of them again..

I didn't know about #10 until I rad this. I have 2 senior dogs and I'll make sure i'm at their side when they leave me

i just got my pet,, sana maglast kame hehe 2weeks old pa lang sya. i am still worried sa health nya, she's too young...

^ sis, as in two weeks old palang si puppy or 2 weeks na siya sayo?  She might be too young if 2 weeks palang. sana ok siya.

^approximately 2weeks pa lang sis, adopted pet sya, kasi one night yung tito ng friend ko may narinig sa garage na umiiyak na dog, tapos pagcheck nya andun yung nanay at 4puppies, nilalamig, kawawa, stray dog yung nanay, so sila muna nagshelter, yung ibang tuta pinamigay na, and i got one of them..... sabi mga 2weeks na daw.... worried nga ako sa health nya..

i had this in my blog! teary-eyed din ako nung nabasa ko ito lalo na yung 10, naalala ko yung mga past dogs namin na wala na.

^ naku sis parang too young pa yung 2 weeks to be separated from its mom.
pero yung new dog namin namatay yung mom 1 week after sila pinanganak, kami ng bros ko nag-alaga, every 4 hours dapat feed ng milk, so far nabuhay naman sila, 6 weeks old na sila ngayon

^i always feed her naman, minsan nga sinusubuan ko pa, hehe spoiled nga daw sakin   e ngayon matutulog na nga ako, nilagyan ko na lang ng maraming milk yung plato nya incase magutom sya sa gabi

worried pa rin ako sa health nya syempre pero i dont know kung 2weeks talaga, mukhang malaki na sya at may ngipin, nagsstart na syang ngumatngat ng mga bagay sa garage namin, ano ba mga skills ng dog at 2weeks? developmental stage like sa human baby? meron ba nun? hehe gusto ko sana gawin yun para malaman ko kung ilang weeks na ba talaga sya, ulyanin na kasi yung tito ng friend ko

i felt so touched reading this.

my cat is lying in front of me now while in my laptop and i so so love him for being there and for being so adorable and loyal to me.

i think he's getting old and i cant imagine not having around.

naiyak naman ako, minsan sa sobrang inis ko sa alaga namin minsan naiisip bakit hindi pa siya natuluyan dati nung inaway siya ng dog. so bad for me! from now on, i will love him again
