^ not true ang "no work, no visa" rule, both for Japan and Korea. I'm a housewife and di naman ako nahirapan kumuha ng visa for both.. sabay kami nag-apply ni hubby and supporting docs nya lang ang binigay namin.

^when ka nag apply ng SK visa sis? kasi last March yun isang friend ko di inaccept docs ng hubby nya kasi no work. sya magsponsor ng trip. yun kanya lang ang kinuha e honeymoon pa naman nila yun. ayun sa window pa lang ng review ng docs ng consul isinoli na daw yun kay hubby nya kasi "no work no visa" daw.

^ for Japan visa, I applied ng March. For SK, I applied ng April or early May yata..

i am  currently fixing my documents for October travel. katatapos ko nga mag fill in ng form. excited  lang. pano kaya yun,kasi dati i teach in two colleges here in manila but this semester i only have one because i am pursuing my PhD. shall i still put my bir cert despite my being not connected with the other school or no  na lang.

Sisses, sa Visa Application Form, kung maglalagay ako ng hotel name/address sa "Names and addresses of hotels or persons with whom applicant intends to stay" section, kailangan ko bang magsubmit ng proof ng hotel reservation? 

Ayaw ko pa kasing magbook hanggang hindi pa na-a-approve yung leave ko, pero gusto ko na sanang mag-apply ng visa.

Nung kami sis, I made a booking via Agoda, yung may "free cancellation", for the visa application. Then after I got our visa, I cancelled the previous booking I made. We booked a rental apartment na for our actual trip.

Yes you need a hotel booking. book through booking.com kasi free cancellation naman sila eh =)

I got my JP VISA na.. multiple entry for 3 years

^sis did you write a letter stating why you need a multiple entry visa?

^Yes sis, I did.
Sinabi ko lang na pupunta ako this August para mamasyal then balak kong bumalik next year.

Why don't you try na multiple entry na para hindi ka na gumastos if ever?
Ask mo na lang siguro sa agency kung automatic bang single entry valid for 3 months kapag denied ang request for multiple.  Sayang din naman kasi just my 2 cents

that is a good idea, i will print out a letter na din just in case the agency says that if my  request does not get granted e the embassy will  screen my application as single entry and not denied  agad if I did not qualify for the multiple visa

sis onefineapril, yung multiple mo anytime pwede ka pumunta diba? or nakalagay na dapat within 3 months eh pumasok ka ng Japan?

been to Japan before, 2008 to be exact. pero gusto naming bumalik sa November. I am currently on leave for a year sa work ko. pero I have savings naman, gusto ko sana multiple entry na eh. kaos baka it's too early to apply kung November pa kami pupunta?? kaya gusto ko apply now para may maprovide pa ko ng 3 months salary proof. saka yung November eh target month pa lang so may possibility na ma-move ng January. I remember kasi sa visa ko dati nakalagay na I must enter Japan before the specified date eh.

^i think you are OK even if you apply now. multiple entry naman is anytime after visa issuance =)

15days maximum stay sa japan pag multiple visa diba? Possible ba na may extension ang 15days stay for another 15days?

Like for example navisahan ng 3months single entry, pag ganito kasi pwede ka mag apply for extension eh depende nalang sa immigration officer kung bibigyan ka ng 3 months ulit or 1 month or none at all.

sis prettynvain, valid for 3 yrs yung visa, wala namang nakalagay na kailangan kong pumasok ng Japan at their specified period.
