one of my top list is OB Montessori.
it really attracts my attention even before i gave birth to her
it makes me compliment it
evrytime i pass by the school.
pero syempre nid rin tumingin sa iba para atleast maicompare.

my son just started big school this year.  grade 1 in claret.  he used to be in a preschool near our home for 3 years.  if i had a choice, i'd prefer a coed school for him kaya lang wala akong makitang ok na coed in our area.  i noticed, he has become rowdier and rougher kasi.  i know it's probably not the school per se, kasi happy naman ako academically, feeling ko lang it's because it's a boys school.  =(

I know how you feel sis. My son is in 4th grade in Claret. We talk to him at home we tell him its not good. Follow up mo lang dahil pagnasama talaga sila sasabog sa ingay at kulit. But their curriculum is good. Same as Ateneo. These are comments coming from parents & bosses with kids both in Claret & Ateneo.

any schools na merong good sports program for girls na alam nyo mga sis? My daughter is studying in STC pero parang wala silang intramurals man lang dun. I want her to be sports minded parang nung school namin sa DB. Ayaw ko naman puro study kahit paano sana may outlet like sports.

Hi sis. My son is incoming grade 2 at Lourdes QC. He started there since Kinder. Am happy naman with the school and my son really enjoys it there. Yun nga lang malake class size nila since traditional school ang LSQC. Nung grade 1 40 sila in his class. TF is 55k + 4k books.

Feedback on montessori west anyone? How much ang tuition dito?

I am torn between Lourdes and Claret for son who is an incoming grade 1. Lourdes is closer to our home and claret to my workplace. Tuition-wise, claret is higher by 10k but facilities-wise, mas ok sa claret. Claret has smaller class, 35 students per class. In terms of quality education, i am clueles.  I really want to make the right decision. It is a big adjustment  for him if ever, coming from bulacan then to a big school in qc

Hubby tried to drop by Diliman Prep to inquire but the 1st time he went, he missed the place. Hahaha. Hinde nya daw nakita. The 2nd time, he couldn't get a parking slot. Wala palang parking lot so ayaw niya kase paano daw sha magsusundo kapag ganon.

Wala pa din kaming school na napipili. We asked our little boy kung anong school yung gusto nya, ayaw nya daw all boys school and big school. Were considering Claret sana.

i'm considering transferring my incoming grade4 and kinder to claret.  does claret excel on a particular field/areas? how's their parent-teacher engagement? is the school area free from flood? would really appreciate ur feedback.

^Flood free ang Claret. My son's kinder bestfriend moved to Diliman Prep coz nearer nga naman sa kanila. All areas good naman sila from academic, sports and music. They have robotics. You can always schedule for meetings w/ the teachers even counselors.

They have the CSC. This is the preschool nila. It's a small school within the big school.

Ymma: If Lourdes QC between Claret, that I can't decide. Graduates from both school are smart and independent. But if Lourdes Manda & Claret, choose Claret.

Thanks, Bump. Yeah, i have heard negative feedback about lourdes mandaluyong while good feedback in lourdes qc except the facilities. My inclination is towards Claret. big factor that the place is flood free. Stressful mag scout ng school

My little boy attends St Mary's QC for 2 yrs now. He prefers coed kase. And the school is just 10 mins away fro  us.

share ko lang, my son goes to Headway School for Giftedness in UP Village, near Kalayaan - 5 minutes from our place. Progressive School, suburban area kaya tahimik. okay naman ang tuition - modest amt considering na may IEP sila, aircon din rooms... if you want you can check www.headwayschool.ph.

^My youngest will attend their Pre-school Socialization summer program. Hopefully, the program can help him establish a routine and prepare him well for the coming school year.
