About the show:

RIZZOLI & ISLES follows Boston detective Jane Rizzoli (Harmon) and medical examiner Maura Isles (Sasha Alexander), complete opposites and good friends who solve crimes and bust some of Boston’s most notorious criminals. Growing up at opposite ends of the economic spectrum, the two remain strikingly different from one another in many ways. Jane, the only female detective in Boston’s homicide division, is a tough and gutsy cop who doesn’t let her guard down (except with Maura), dodges her overprotective mother and is better at basketball than her brother. Maura, meanwhile, is usually more comfortable among the dead than the living. She is always impeccably dressed in designer duds with a steady, sometimes icy temperament. And she is working on curbing her tendency to diagnose the people she meets – including her first dates. Jane and Maura often find themselves working together as both use their brilliant minds and expertise to figure out the “who done it” as well as the “how done it” of Boston’s most complex cases.

Despite their many differences, Jane and Maura are best friends, with a quirky and supportive relationship. As Tamaro explains, “That Jane and Maura are so different and yet so effective as a team makes them unusual.… There’s something rare about their relationship that I see in the world but not enough on television: two smart, strong, competent women who instinctively drop the protective shield when they’re with each other.”

^Yes! I've watched the 2 episodes, ang galing sobra. Funny pa sila pareho at sobrang kikay ni Isles while tomboyish si Rizzoli.

I was excited when I heard about this series since the characters are based on the novels of Tess Gerritsen (one of my favorite authors), but when I saw the actress who'll play Rizzoli...kinda' disappointed.  Kasi galing na siya (Angie Harmon) sa isang similar series, Women's Murder Club (based on James Patterson's books naman).  So yung role parang pareho lang yung attack niya, sa book mas tougher pa mas may angst at definitely di ganun kadrop dean gorgeous which makes everything so much more interesting.  Plus Maura Isles in the back is a bit more goth like, not the pretty fashionista blonde they made her to be sa series.

So far I only liked the first epi, hopefully it will still improve as the series moves along.

I like episode 3 although konti lang yung action. Natatawa ako sa scene ni Rizzoli with her mom. Sinet up pa siya lol Ang sad naman at mukhang mawawala na si Donnie Wahlberg. Ang ganda pa naman ng chemistry nila ni Angie Harmon

I am so hooked sa series na to. Funny yung dynamics ni Rizzoli & Isles. I like na boyish si Rizzoli while girl na girl talaga si Isles.

^Haha! Ako naman I love Angie Harmon. Kasi pwede siya as kikay or boyish na role. Ok din yung ensemble cast for me especially yung matandang detective din na kasama nila. Makulit din kasi yun.

This week's episode is a must see! Sobrang ganda nung story. I laughed when Rizzoli said na Isles is a walking google haha

^Its nice sis! Detective/medical yung drama na may halong comedy. I'm surprised na ok ang chemistry nung cast.
