argggh philpost is so inefficient! they might have lost a package i sent and i cant even confirm if thats the case bec no ones picking up the phone! i called the local post office but the one who answered knows nothing of whats going and asked me to call back after lunch bec "baka busy kasi yung magta-track, baka may ginagawa". wow unbelievable!

sorry im just fuming out, kakainis kasi, mali yung pagpapatakbo. i swear if a private company would be running this its gonna be a diff case (not promoting PPP) take lbc for instance, very reliable sila.

anyway, the point to all these is, may contact no ba kaso ng ems na direcho sa tracking? or at least yung sure na may sasagot? thanks;D

or kung wala, pinakamura na shipping but most likely when mare-receive ni customer ang package?

Mga sis have any of you tried Pobox.ph We shop We ship?  Plan kasi to buy some items from a certain online store sa US pero hindi sila nag-aaccept ng Phil. issued credit card. kaya i want to try sana yung we shop we ship service nila. Any feedbacks??

A friend from Japan is selling me a second-hand Dell laptop for 6,000 pesos. He said shipping will cost 3,000 pesos. I am actually concerned about taxes when it reached Manila.

Magkano kaya itatax sakin dito? And which is the best shipping method to use?   through post office ba or through international couriers like Fedex?

May binili ako online before at natax ako nung pinadala nila through courier than nung sa post office, 40 pesos lang chinarge sakin.

^ lower kapag used item sis. mas mura parin siguro with post office. kasi can't negotiate tax with FedEx eh, hehe.

yung price depende sa box. transit time is usually 1 month.

Kinakabahan ako,  sabi sa tracking ng Fedex,  may customs clearance delay yung package ko...  i was supposed to receive it today.  Baka hinahatulan na kung gaano kalaki ang taxxxx ko!  Sana naman wag ko pagsisihan,  baka lalo pa ako mapamahal dahil sa tax!

Kinakabahan ako,  sabi sa tracking ng Fedex,  may customs clearance delay yung package ko...  i was supposed to receive it today.  Baka hinahatulan na kung gaano kalaki ang taxxxx ko!  Sana naman wag ko pagsisihan,  baka lalo pa ako mapamahal dahil sa tax! 

sis if ganun status, call fedex na usually for that payment na ng taxes  eh. yung philpost kasi kapag ganun na status ko, ako na nagpupunta agad bago pa dalhin sakin yung notice card.

^ thanks mga sis!  i will call them tomorrow.  i know naman may tax nga ako,  i was expecting lang na dito ko na babayaran pagdeliver sa akin.  pero di pa rin dumating package ko ngayon. 
 i've had experiences with DHL before that i also paid some fees pero yun nga dito ko na binayaran pag deliver sa akin so less hassle.  i will update you. 
im praying lang na wag mashado malaki itax sa akin.

ah no sis. Fedex usually delivers after you pay them the tax fees.

I just called fedex, they've been trying to reach me daw.  Almost 6k yung tax ko, they just want to know if willing akong bayaran ito upon delivery ng items.  I should've called sooner kase may storage fee pa daw akong bbayaran dahil nung sept 29 pa dumating yung package ko.  Anyway, okay lang kase cheaper pa rin lumalabas kesa kung binili ko dito yung items ko...

^ Oo nga sis, kung alam ko lang na ganyan sa Fedex, nag-EMS na lang ako.  Ang hassle lang kase sa EMS is i had to go to their office in Paranaque.  With Fedex,  they will deliver the items pa rin and then pay the tax upon delivery.  I actually tried asking the person in Fedex if the tax was negotiable pa pero sadly hindi na daw.  Tapos they said they've been calling me pero busy daw yung landline ko,  i told her, yun ang gamit ko to call her and okay naman yung line.  Baka once lang nag-try tapos sabi busy na raw palagi. 
Sana nga nag-EMS na lang ako,  baka cheaper pa nga ang shipping fee ko. 
Pinaka-okay na experience ko is from DHL talaga...  kaya lang mahal ang DHL according to the seller.

Baka may idea kayo mga sis magkano tax for a second hand 13.3" Dell laptop coming from Japan? Pero mukhang bago pa kasi hindi masyado nagamit. Binbenta lang sakin ng 6k  but of course plus shipping. I5 na processor... abot kaya 5k ang tax o hindi naman?

Hi sis! Depende rin ata sa declared value ang ittax sayo.  Hindi naman siguro abutin ng 5k yung sayo.  In my case,  mababa nilagay na value ng seller ko pero inaappraise pa rin ng customs ng mas mataas.
