may idea ba kayo if magkano ang babayaran na tax pag dineclare ipad na $600 as a gift? and may idea din ba kayo if saan ako magbabayad? ems customs main ba mismo or dito lang sa local post  office? nakita ko tracking number sa usps website and nasa customs na daw.
kelan ko kaya ma-receive notification card? sana dito lang sa local post office  ako papuntahin. 
masyado malayo pag sa pasay pa. kinakabaan talaga ko sa babayaran na tax and wag naman sana mawala package.

okay naman gamitin ang EMS palabas ng bansa.

Pero yung papasok dito sa tin ang madugo. kasi as per customs ALL items are taxable na. =(

yesterday may kinuha akong package sa phil post galing US. Siningil ako ng Ph3.6k +. gusto ko ma highblood!  pero wala akong magawa kasi kailangan ko yung item eh.

^^ hay. same tayo ng nangyari. may pinadala sa amin na medical device through fedex galing US. sobrang liit lang nun. wala pa 1kg. pagdating dito nahold daw ng customs, kaya pinuntahan namin sa fedex. sinisingil kami ng 3.7k. grabeh, nakakahigh blood talaga. eh almost 5K na nga yung binaad namin para sa shipping tapos another 3.7K para sa customs. kakagigil talaga yang customs na yan. mga mukhang pera.

1.  never declare a $0 value cause that would pose more problems and documents in customs
2.  putting the words "sample", "for personal use", and the like on the invoice or package doesn't necessary exempt your item on customs valuation

1.  never import an item that would arrive in customs on a Friday or a week end.
2.  when importing, do it on a Monday

2.  tuwing friday, tamad magtrabaho ang customs para maipit ang mga package at umabot ito ng week-end
3.  masipag sila from monday to thursday

sis, san mo na track? hindi kase gumagana yung tracking sa philpost, nagpadala ako ng documents thru ems papunta sa toronto canada.

nagpadala ako ng sanitary pads sa philpost makati kanina, it's 1.8kilos. may box na syang sarili going to Okinawa Japan. 1360php lang singil sa akin. 

ang babait ng mga nasa philpost makati! ibang iba sa service na nakuha ko dati sa post office sa probinsya! kudos to philpost makati! :

^ mukhang ipapa-address ko na sa office ng beau ko ang package ko ah, makati kasi sya. sobrang la kwenta philpost dito sa area namin, mga notice ko isang buwan na hindi dumarating and minsan walang dumadating AT ALL! hehe

gustong ko magpurchase from China and im from gensan. yong bang item ko dito na sa amin makuha thru EMS? pano kung mahold ng customs? mga fashion jewelries sya at maybe will cost mga not less than 150dollars.
takot ako bumili baka magkaproblema ako in the end. sayang din ang pera ko.

^ sis if ganyan kavaluable like jewelries, mahirap yan. nakakatakot kasi minsan ninanakaw sa post office, hehe. it's a given fact na talagang nangyayari yun, lalo na sa mga mamahaling items talaga.

For those who want to avail of Philpost's international services at their convenience, try Xend.  Mukhang maganda yung service nila kasi powered by Singapore mail.  Tapos pickup pa sa home and trackable to most countries.

I've had no problems sending packages to Europe and North America though through old school registered mail.  It's slow, but no lost package pa naman so far.
